Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 42 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people experienced frustrating issues with faulty hardware, including broken components, crashing systems, and failing motherboards shortly after initial purchase. Consumers frequently noted that customer service was entirely unhelpful, unresponsive, and extremely difficult to reach when trying to resolve issues. Additionally, buyers expressed deep dissatisfaction because warranties were rarely honored for severely damaged items. Though some customers encountered major hurdles, a small group of people were satisfied with their purchase overall. These individuals found specific hardware components to be exceptionally stable, durable, and dependable over long periods of use.

Best vendor on the market

Amongst all vendors this one is the best to my opinion. This company supplies different stuff for computers, and sincerely I recently acquired a new 3060 right from this vendor. Graphical processor works properly and quietly. It allows me to play dozens of new games!

No Customer Service

having problem with screen,1/4 side of the display screen has blue hue while closing the laptop the left portion of the screen pixels turns blue I tried submitting the repair request but under the address information the country is locked to united states and cannot be changed to CANADAI tried contacting the Canadian customer care and the call never goes through, the call queue seems to closed all the time stating to call during work hours the line is closed. It's been more then a month, GYGABITE customer service for Canada doesn't exist! Update, as of August 31, 2023, Customer service responded, had to change account settings to Canada, shipping fees are covered only one way, repair was done in less than a week.

Quick and easy warranty repair

Had an issue with 1.5 year old graphics card. I contacted their support, they arranged for it to be delivered to their office. It was looked at and the faulty part replaced the same day it arrived, I then arranged for it to be picked up the next day.

Overall very impressed!

Gigabyte has no quality to products or care for it

So I bought my first laptop after building desktops for over 20 years and I will never buy another laptop again. After 2 years the laptop GPU died and I couldn't get warranty. They wanted me to pay more to fix it than to just build a new computer... In fact I could buy a new laptop with the same specs for same price. Aorus 15-g-yc is garbage runs hot, fans down out everything, speakers are non existent, had problems with overheating within first week to where I had to buy laptop dock for the extra cooling. Even after I was in contact with gigabyte from the first week of ownership about the heating problems they still wouldn't replace computer after it died... Why would I buy a laptop if I have to do the with to get it cooling when I can build a desktop that will last until it can't run current version of Windows?

Gigabyte G27Q gaming monitor

I bought their G27Q gaming monitor with speakers. It arrived VERY QUICKLY. It unboxed easily and the AMD Freesync installed with it quickly. That's where the good things ended. Within a day the color at the bottom of the display started to wash out. My icons were not detailed properly and were readable and familiar, but not crisp. An annoying little display box that I couldn't mouse over appeared every time I started it up and didn't go away until it's own timer made it disappear - and it stopped me from logging into Windows 11. And the sound? It was SO BAD that I had to use my Bluetooth sound bar to understand or hear anything. TERRIBLE. It was SO BAD I won't buy a Gigabyte product EVER AGAIN.

The worst company you can ever buy a…

The worst company you can ever buy a gaming Laptop from.I bought the aero 15x when it came out, the GTX 1070 version and the laptop was absolute garbage from the get go. I had paid over $2000 cad for it, and when I booted it up I had to reinstall windows, had to install throttle stop had to get the keyboard replaced within 1 month. The fans had to be replaced thrice. The laptop is absolute peice of garbage, they have no after sales support you try to call them and message no response. Trash scammers like this need karma to f em up. The computers takes decades too boot up and even when nothing is running it shows cpu at 82 percent for no reason and the laptop gets freaking hot. Like how the hell was this product ever allowed in the market

RMA sent me someone else's failed RMA.

I built a new gaming PC with high end components including a 4th gen M.2 SSD boot drive. Within 6 months the M.2 drive had failed. Getting an RMA was confusing by design with many web page links taking me in circles. After paying $45 to ship the RMA and months of waiting for it to return, when it arrived the replacement failed spectacularly. It was obviously someone else's RMA shipped back to me. Emails to the company were not answered and when I got live support I was hung up on.

Never again Gigabyte.

I wouldn't buy from Gigabyte or expect any customer service

I wouldn't buy from Gigabyte again and you can't expect any customer service from them.
I bought a top end new laptop from them and within a few months there were a number of problems (mainly with the keyboard not responding, track pad not responding, the laptop crashing and so blue screen - so we have constantly had to rebuild the laptop to try and help with the crashing and blue screen problem). However there are still problems with the keyboard and track pad (for a brand new laptop).
Very little help from their UK team they outsource too.
I've tried escalating this to their senior management team, who haven't even bothered to respond.

It seems Gigabyte quite happily take customers money and provide a poor quality product with no customer service from Gigabyte when things go wrong.

Can't even give you a part number!

£3k plus laptop and gigabyte refuse to even proved a part number for a failed fan. They will not supply a replacement fan and state the only way to get it repaired is to send it to a third party company that order parts from them! For a 10 minute repair job i have spent hours trying to get a spare fan which I was happy to pay for. I would never buy from gigabyte if this is what they call support.

Scam Company

Gigabyte is a scam company.
I ordered an unopened motherboard from a retailer recently, but there seems to be an issue with the USB 2.0 Header so I tried reaching out to Gigabyte. Their live chat hours are HORRIBLE and it seems when ever I go to their support page during the hours, their live chat button doesn't pop up. 9 days ago I opened a ticket and I have not received a response. It's impossible to reach these people.
Don't buy their products

Open a ticket and never get a response. NICE!

I opened a ticket with Gigabyte many many days ago to ask them about the compatibility of a type of ram. I tried asking would the motherboard support KF560C40BB-32 since it supports KF560C40BBK2-32 which is basically the same ram but has the ram split into 2 sticks instead of one. They never responded to the ticket I made and it still says "ticket is being processed" and thanks to this the ram I wanted to get is now no longer on sale so thank you very much GIGABYTE. Well anyway I found another RAM that is slightly faster has RGB and is only a tiny bit more expensive and according to what I had read it was supposed to be compatible with my motherboard but yesterday I decided to just check the RAMs compatibility on their website and it says that it is compatible with the motherboard but only if you use it with the 13th Gen Intel Processors. I have sent another ticket to GIGABYTE to ask is this really so. I can't cancel my purchase as it has already been sent but because of the ongoing logistic strikes it is still in transport and I might be unable to return it before the return period ends.
