I recently purchased 2 lampshades from the Darlington branch.
I had purchased a pair of tables lamps privately but a couple of components were missing.
The staff, Charlie, Muhammad, Kevin and Gillian herself were wonderful. Charlie threw in the missing parts at no extra charge.
I'd recommend the company to anyone.

Called in to the shop by chance this afternoon and left with a beautiful bush baby floor cushion. The colours are gorgeous and the quality of the products excellent. I will definitely be returning.

Really bad service
At first lovely friendly service and quality products. Some wallpaper, lampshades and a cushion were not in stock, but would be available for pick up in two weeks. After a month we rang them, nothing was available, the same day they phoned back to say cushion had "been found'. It was actually the wrong colour but still matched. A month later another visit for two large lampshades and £120 roll of wallpaper, all paid for, they couldn't find the paperwork, but we were promised another week. Two weeks on, still no products. Items from there are lovely and excellent quality, but if they aren't available on the day, don't bother.

In our shops, we aim to showcase a variety of our designs and products. However, it is often necessary for customer’s to place orders with us and items are then handmade to order. Our approximate lead in time is normally 3-4 weeks. For wallpaper, orders can be up to 2 months. We apologise that on this occasion there appears to have been communication errors on our part which we will review and endeavour to prevent in the future. We hope you really enjoy the different items that were purchased.
A disappointing experience but lovely products.
I really love the products in this local shop and it really pains me to leave a review with so few stars but unfortunately this reflects the whole experience of my latest purchases.
Our order was for wedding gifts for our son and was ordered well in advance of the special day. The exceptionally poor communication between the different departments meant we had three wasted visits to the shop. E.g we were told that the product was ready when it wasn’t. One product was made incorrectly and had to be remade. There was very little in the way of apology and one member of staff did imply that the mistakes were our fault, despite a colleague remembering the actual wording of our personalisation.
The whole experience was quite stressful, there was no discount offered for the lack of service. In the end we had to collect one part of the order on our way to the wedding.
The two stars are an average as the actual products are absolutely gorgeous.
We have made purchases from this shop on other occasions and we have had very different experiences.
