To avoid starting your day on a wrong note, you might want to avoid this taxi company. Absolutely awful service. Most times, the operators are rude and impatient. Today, despite me clearly explaining the exact pickup location with specific details to the impatient operator, he still sent the driver to the wrong place. I walked to meet him, calmly explained he was at the wrong location—and instead of letting me get in, he drove off to the correct spot and expected me to walk back again before starting the trip.

Poor communication, bad attitude, and zero common sense. If you value your time or basic courtesy, avoid this taxi company!!

WARNING..!! Do not use this taxi company if you intend on travelling to airport, catch a bus or train. They will take advantage of your circumstances. 6/11/25 booked ride in advance £18 05;30am to the airport. It was their responsibility to ensure they had a vehicle available. Ten minutes late, the operator called at 05:40 to say driver has already made a trip to the airport therefore I have to pay parking fees £7 on top of agree fare to be dropped off because the driver cannot enter the free drop off point. Rude duty manager said pay or cancel the ride. He had us over a barrel. Didn’t want to miss the flight thus we had to put up with his bad manners & pay. Strongly advise you stay well clear of this company if you don’t want the stress. Lots of bad reviews about operator’s behaviour.

Appalling. Pre booked a taxi to pick us up from York races tonight and they cancelled 15 mins before they were due to pick us up. Disgusting service and will NEVER use again

Horrible experience. can’t trust them anymore 2nd in a row booked a taxi as I had to catch a bus for London. Called 3:30 pm and told them got a catch my bus at 5:00 and then called them again few times to remind them but when it was finally time they stopped answering my calls and I missed my bus .!

Horrible driver. Cheating, taking more money then showing. Not recommend. Rubbish company. Lie to people.

Horrible experience been getting Girlington Taxis for many years but I have found the operators to be extremely rude they don’t have basic manners they hang up when your still talking to them and speak in a very rude way won’t be using their services again.

Absolutely professional driver he doesn't do anything else apart from his driving driver number 36 a star

The operator of this taxi doesn't know politeness or words like please or thank you. Their response is always "taxi. Yeah where you going......bye. Yesterday we rang for a taxi so I could go for my Friday Prayers. It was specifically mentioned that the car must have a credit card payment system. The driver came in a shabby appearance dropped me off and said that because his Bluetooth is not working he cannot take card payments. That was a blatant lie because he rang his firm and they mentioned that he should get a card payment system. Tax Dodger and then claim low income.
Using Uber from now on.

This is my favourite taxi company in Bradford, they are so professional and they know their customers really well all I do is call and immediately they pick and greet me saying Zoe where do I need picking up from.They are always on time, I pay by card and cash, Thank you for a great service Girlington Taxis😍

Excellent service good clean cars and a very fast service wherever you are they come fast and the fares are good too they increase fares a bit but still cheaper than other companies

Girlington taxi what a joke I got a taxi from allerton to Shipley not only did the driver take me the long way round it cost more then it would be usually when I phoned up it was because of the snow and they are changing extra but they failed to mention this to me apparently when it snows you are men to call up and ask because everyone knows that.

On 17th May I booked a taxi with Girlington.
The driver arrived before time and I asked him to allow me 2 minutes to come down the stairs from my flat.
The driver refuses to wait inspite of being before time and asked me to call another taxi.

I called another taxi and a second driver arrived at my flat and started his rant.
He was rude and disrespectful.
The driver told me -
1. That I should be ashamed and that I was a bad muslim
2. The driver also told me to leave UK and return to wherever I came from.

Following this s I had a seizure attack becaise of the anxiety.

I seek an apology and compensation for this appalling behaviour.

This is the worst taxi hire ever, drivers are so rude, customer service even worse. They will keep cutting you off the phone. I booked a taxi at 8:30 for a pickup at 10:00, they didn’t send it taxi, I called them but they were so rude and they also called me stupid
