Another good thing ruined by having to login. What’s the point of that?? Why would you want to be identified when looking up companies
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. Wants ALL your employer details…
Wants ALL your employer details including website, boss’ last known movements. Wants your blood type, DNA profile, your last movements, home address, children’s details for an “anonymous” website. Too much, so unhelpful. You don’t need the employers actual name and website for this surely?? So frustrating. Otherwise you get to choose the option of leaving a review of a company which is just as intrusive as the first option. I only wanted to look at salaries, I had no intention of bringing my own employment into it.
Don’t USE it
Don’t USE it
One you register, they will bury you in useless emails
You want to delete your account with them? Lol
You won’t be able to!!!
Last step gonna be to enter your pass, even that pass it’s 100% correct they won’t accept it
Sinister organisation whose purpose is to find out all about you
Made the mistake of joining Glassdoor to review company profile. Horrible experience, now receiving multiple spam emails from Glassdoor which I am sure they will excuse as legitimate. They make it virtually impossible to unsubscribe, and I have to wonder if they are GDPR compliant.
Tried to look up a company this morning…
Tried to look up a company this morning and could not without leaving personal information that would be very identifiable as i have worked for very small companies and been the only person to do that job
Has turned into a personal data mining site.
Just tried to look up a company quickly. Forced to sign in, that was a pain! Then forced to give up personal infomation for them to ultimatly profit on; not happening.
I wont bother with this site again.
What a truly hideous website
Tried to look at a company review, wouldn't let me until I logged in, so reset password and tried again. i finally got in and another pop up, now I can't view anything due to inactivity for 12 months. What an absolute horrid site. Deleted my account.
I appreciate there are probably genuine…
I appreciate there are probably genuine disgruntled employees who have been bullied or mistreated and I would ask them to have the courage to use the courts to get justice. My experience as an employer is of the spiteful jealous and malicious employee who is lazy and useless to the point that the only effort they ever made was to harm our business.
Laughable process
From the side of a real employee trying to warn others to avoid a company that allows open bigotry and the awful atmosphere. My review was years old and was taken down recently with no reasoning. I try to reupload it within their guidelines but nothing happens. While they company itself is openly bumping up their reviews with multiple accounts but its not taken down even though it is completely obvious. Dont even bother thinking that it represents real employees
Trolls paradise
Horrific concept, affects innocent people’s mental health to the point of life changing consequences, entire teams heartbroken at reading lies without any substance or evidence, no background checks on who is positing, allows discrimination (and worse, too appalling to even write here) accusations as acceptable community rules. Horrific concept without real moderation. Trolls paradise.
Rubbish. Stick to Indeed!
Thought Glassdoor would be better than other competitors because of the feature to review interview processes and company benefits. Could not have been more wrong - stick with Indeed folks!
Tried to look at interview reviews of a company I was applying for but wasn't able to access these without an account... then couldn't view more than one or two unless I left a review of my own, which I attempted to do but the site wouldn't load past the first set of questions. Have had several problems all of a similar nature with this site, none of which ever seem to get fixed.
All I wanted to look at was some…
All I wanted to look at was some interview advice at a company and it required me to sign up which I did but then for me to continue with anything I had to leave a review on my current / former workplace. Ridiculous site.
I put up a review for my company
I put up a review for my company, and a few of my team mates did to because its just really bad and no one listens to us. We wake up the next morning and they have all gone. Even though they have been approved. None of us have had any notification or are allowed to resubmit they just get removed before they are published. We can only assume that you are taking payment or something from the company we work at. You don't do what you say you do, you don't help anyone. You are pointless
Glassdoor is a channel for defamation
Glassdoor is little more than a platform that allows disgruntled ex-employees with an axe to grind the opportunity to libel their previous employer and work colleagues. Outright lies, insults and personal attacks are all accommodated under the “free speech” umbrella by Glassdoor who, in their Ts&Cs, threaten to trash your company’s reputation if you try to hold them accountable.

Integrity...what a joke.
Possibly the worst digital product I have ever used. You write a review, the company complains, pays them some money and they take it down. They then ban your email address from using the site. You set up another email, write a review and the same merry go round happens again. They have no integrity and hopefully very soon, a competitor will do it right and take them down as soon as possible.
Flawed technology removes reviews
I don't know how many times I've tried to post a review of my old company on this site now. Every time, it's approved, then removed a few days later. I've contacted the company a few times to ask why. Each time, I'm met with the response 'you can only review a company once per year' and 'our technology monitors users who abuse this policy'.
I don't know what technology they are using, but it's clearly broken. I've never posted a review on Glassdoor before this one. Either they are removing the review at the employers request, or their technology is quite clearly flawed.
Get your act together Glassdoor, otherwise I'll use your competitors.
Glassdoor has a very poor system to…
Glassdoor has a very poor system to find out if the reviews are false or not. When a review is clearly false, they don't seems to have a real system, and this affects all companies.

I’d give it zero stars if it were an option.
Real reviews removed that score low or have honest (non doscript) reviews.
Wouldn’t really use it as a good indicator of company environment. But the more disgruntled reviews you see the better idea you get of what’s going on.
Need to keep reviews up there and inform people if removed and why.

Of Cancer Research UK (C.R.UK eBay in this case) to write a review, via GLASSDOOR?
Under PROS & CONS I suggested (of C R UK)
1, Management needs to extract HEAD from A SS (obviously I had to reword it to have it initially accepted by the "system" (that, as I just found out, includes Trustpilot's)
And
2, That C.R UK download SIZE GUIDES because the BS practice of measuring by hand "Pit to Pit" is a farce, often resulting in an exaggerated chest size, > returns > refunds > lost revenue in postage costs...(both ways) > lost sales.
Obviously both the above points come under CONS, and the PROS would be?, well...C.R UK do have a lot of very nice stuff, but as things stand HOMER SIMPSON could do a better job of running it's EBAY side, especially at the HAROLDS WOOD site. D'OH
Fortunately (for Cancer Research) C.R.UK is a CHARITY, and as such can afford to flush OUR DONATIONS down the pan as they do, because of the way they receive money...from US, ON TAP.
Oh yes, and my honest review of C.R.UK (eBay) on Glassdoor? was deleted the next day, since (I guess) it was discovered I'm NOT (or have ever been) an employee of that organisation, or? they just didn't like it.
A shameful organisation...how can they sleep at night?
Terrible that in this day and age a mouthpiece for spreading lies and fake news, largely by disgruntled ex-employees writing anonymously, so with no accountability whatsoever, is allowed to exist. A site set up to facilitate defamation and liable, How can this be legal in a civilized society?
