Spam site just trying to get all your information
Trying to read reviews for a business and I am constantly being asked to sign in or up.
I have had to sign up and now when I try to read the reviews page it won't let me and constantly blocks my view asking me to give my salary and where I work.
I just want to see the reviews of the business I don't want to fill out all of my work history and information.
I have given up with this site what should take a few seconds turned into some fact find on me.

Is it any wonder people prefer to use Indeed.com?
The ultimate bullying platform.
Glassdoor is an official way to cyber bully employers. This platform should be illegal. We terminated an employee who was being extremely rude to clients and became a major disruption in our workplace so we exited her from the business. Since that day we have had over a dozen reviews from this person under different names saying extremely offensive comments about us and our business. Basically bullying. If the shoe was on the other foot we would be in major legal trouble for saying such things.
It's a really negative platform and not to be trusted.

They removed my review (after previously publishing it), and then when i wrote a new one, refused to publish it, saying only one review per person per year per company....but they deleted my review so wth? Dodgy. I reckon employers threaten them and they **** themselves and remove them.
Don’t bother
Non-user friendly, doesn’t achieve what it claims. Used by employers for the wrong reasons. Does not in any way help former employess. Pointless.
Data mining operation
Honestly a data gathering wall is put up to allow you to enter their site.
Horrible business practice forcing you to hand over salary details and reviews of anywhere you worked. Clearly want to force people into building their site, rather than work on building it up.
Ironic it is called Glassdoor, more of a opaque door.
What a joke
What a joke! Just wanting to find some interview questions and its stating "Add your review or salary to continue using Glassdoor". I dont even work at the company yet!!

Evil company aim to destroy all businesses unless you pay the ransom.
It kills business quickly and kills users slowly by making them unhappy and angry.
Glassdoor provides a platform where you can blame everything else for your own mistake or failure, but it doesn't help you improve and look things positively for happiness. I find Glassdoor is highly unethical company. Making profit from others misery.
It should be banned.
Read how Glassdoor making money on indeed:
I hate to work at this place. They look like they trying to build a review website, but in fact all they do it so chase the money. I work in customer support, I deal with small business owners whose only good reviews got removed so we can sell them services. While the big corporation who paid us, they remove the negative reviews. Everybody in the company knows that glassdoor is not a profitable business by running reviews, and their ads suck. I deal with clients asking why the glassdoor ads never pull any qualified candidates all the time. This is literally the only way they can make money. I do not approve of that, and I told my manager that I am not comfortable because any other job I had was actually helping people solving problems. The Manager tried to "educate me on business". I guess they do that is because they are trying to go public and they are trying to prove that they are profitable. I have a business degree, I may not be a business expert, but I know the basics. Even I know this is not a sustainable way. How about actually fix your services, and make them actually work, then people will actually sign up for your services. Because apparently Indeed, a free job posting website, works way much better than glassdoor,
Not a functional website
Can't even get the page load once logged in. Just a big old blank screen. When not logged in you are severely limited by the content you can see so this website is basically useless. I'm guessing they think they can move people into the paid service by limiting what you can see in the free service. Think again.
A barrier to employment opportunities
A barrier to employment opportunities, not an enabler! If I could give 0*, I would!
Shockingly bad experience with Glassdoor. All take, no give..more luck getting blood out of a stone! I set up my account providing all the required information, but STILL couldn't access prospective employer information! I have deleted my account as the whole experience has been a waste of time and effort.

PR Website for Employers Who Pay Them
This website isn't to be trusted at all as it's basically just a marketing website for employers who pay them a hefty fee to use to promote themselves. It's not a place where employees can share their honest opinions or read accurate reviews of how employers treat their staff and the overall staff experience in general.
Glassdoor just deletes truthful negative reviews in favour of keeping the employer (who pays them) in a positive light and doesn't care about honesty, transparency and how employees really feel.
Similarly, if an employer doesn't pay them, they will allow as many negative reviews for that employer as possible unless the employer starts paying them.
Terrible Business and Website
The website and company have steadily got worse and worse over the last 12 months to the point I've deleted my profile for good. This came just a couple of months ago when I posted an honest but mostly negative review of an employer I had worked for. The following day I received an email that my review had been removed and flagged for the "suggestion I was a fake employee as it had come to their attention and most likely had never worked at the company". I contacted Glassdoor through their customer contact portal and asked for an explanation. They replied the following day and just repeated that I was a fake employee as brought to their attention and stuff like they protect employers and employees and cannot be brought off and paid by employers that try to protect their image. I replied by saying exactly that is what it looks like, they've clearly been paid off by the employer and possibly with my personal details you are required to pass to Glassdoor before you can post reviews - I've been recognised and pointed out by the employer with Glassdoor's help, since they seem very positive who I am. I also offered to share and attached my tax code and company wage slips to prove I've been employed by this company within the last 12 months, yet Glassdoor refused this option and sticking with my post removal. As I believed this is the case, I've just deleted my account as it was now compromised. I will say to everyone, just beware of this business and what you have to share with them, they will use it against you and will not protect you whatsoever. Avoid them.
