While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

WROST USER EXPERINECE IN THE WORLD. I tried to view a specific jobs salary then I clicked another button. Asked me to login but I logged in with the wrong account and since it was new, it wouldn't LET ME LOG OUT UNLESS I PUT A JOB THAT I WORKED. THIS IS RIDICILOUS, I JUST WANT TO LOG OUT. Bad UX and mandatory questionnaire to access a feature I'm not interested in
Glassdoor was okay for me when it let me log in and check reviews of various companies.
Today, I logged in and was presented with a mandatory questionnaire about my employment that made me feel that my account's data had been wiped. There was no way to dismiss this questionnaire, a prerequisite step to access the new Facebook newsfeed-style 'Community' feature.
Additionally, because I had not made any contributions for over a year, I was required to make a new contribution to access company reviews. I found this to be contrived and annoying.
Glassdoor could do a lot better when it comes to user experience. Are they intentionally trying to frustrate users?

Is an interesting concept but doesn't really work when it makes posting negative reviews difficult and any negative reviews eventually disappear
Glassdoor A Dubious Platform for Employee Reviews
Glassdoor, once hailed as a beacon of transparency in the realm of employee-employer relationships, has begun to show significant signs of compromise. Recent incidents have raised suspicions that the platform is actively deleting reviews, presumably at the behest of employers.
The platform's initial promise was to provide a space for employees to candidly share their experiences, offering prospective job seekers invaluable insights into company cultures, management styles, and overall work environments. However, recent occurrences have cast a shadow over Glassdoor's integrity.
Many users have reported their reviews mysteriously disappearing from the platform, without any explanation or notification. This disturbing trend has understandably fueled skepticism about the platform's impartiality and commitment to transparency. While Glassdoor has a system in place for moderating reviews for inappropriate content, the lack of transparency in this process raises concerns.
Employers' ability to flag and potentially influence reviews adds another layer of doubt. While it is essential to prevent false or malicious reviews, it is equally vital to maintain an environment where genuine employee experiences can be shared openly and honestly. The opacity surrounding Glassdoor's moderation practices leaves users questioning the authenticity of the platform.
Furthermore, some reviews that do make it through the moderation process have been met with skepticism due to their suspiciously positive tone, leading to speculation that these could be generated or influenced by company insiders. This undermines the very purpose of Glassdoor and erodes the trust of its user base.
In conclusion, Glassdoor's recent actions raise red flags about its commitment to providing an unbiased platform for employee reviews. The suspected deletion of reviews and potential influence by employers cast a pall over what was once a valuable resource for job seekers. Until Glassdoor takes meaningful steps towards transparency and rectifies these concerns, users should approach the platform with a discerning eye.
Glassdoor unwilling to correct facts.
We are a small business with only 2 reviews on there, and the ex staff members who put them on there are entirely entitled to their opinion. However, one of them has put that they are a current employee when that is quite simply incorrect as they left a while ago. We asked Glassdoor for that to be corrected and they wouldn't do so. To be clear we did not ask for the reviews to be changed nor removed only that the employment dates be corrected. This leads me to believe that this website is awash with false information and inaccuracies. Which is a shame as it is a good concept and a useful tool for individuals, though that value is completely lost given the fake details on the platform.
changed UI but basic usage worsened
Website works worse than before they changed the UI. Links are broken, you can't even use the SSO to login. I thought they were improving it. I'm wrong, it keeps going down. Good luck with that.

This company (probably an online portal only) can’t be contacted. There is a link number given that leads to a charity organisation. Also contacting them by writing in the form does not work.

Got completely bombarded with emails about jobs purporting to be from individuals who work at these employers buy I don't believe it. Very difficult to navigate their site so I closed my account. Seems like a scam to me.
Do not trust
They write: "Companies can't alter or remove reviews. (Really!) See how Glassdoor protects users and content"
This is FALSE FALSE FALSE
I wrote a negative review on a company, all I wrote was true. My previous company threatened glassdoor and magic! My review was deleted!
Do NOT trust. Furthermore! The company then writes new positive reviews that are completely fake and these one are NEVER deleted.

Rubbish website. Won't let you access any data without sharing all of your life details. Data mining like this should be illegal.
Glassdoor reviews CANNOT BE TRUSTED
You absolutely CANNOT TRUST Glassdoor reviews. They got paid by employers to remove honest negative reviews without any warning and leave all the positive ones. Good luck getting scammed by Glassdoor and all the toxic employers out there

I can never seem to be able to log into my account even though I have continued with google. I managed to get in once by leaving a review and then submitted my application, then afterwards I cant get back in nor could I search this platform? I have not experience anything similar on other sites. my connection is good and if this is a bug, why is this happening again a few years after i used this site?
Awful website
Awful website, demands information then keeps popping up things without actually showing the website! Despicable. All they want is your information!!
You can pay to have review removed
The company I work for pays Glassdoor to have negative reviews removed. I should know as I am the one doing the payments .. so the company I work for has all 5 star reviews, written by the owner..
Awful- don’t bother using
Awful- don’t bother using. Constantly asking for information which has got nothing to do with them and you can’t use the app until you provide it. Plenty of other good options out there.
