Driver failed to show up for 5:30am booking to Glasgow Airport, leaving us scrambling to arrange alternative transportation. Driver would not answer calls, nor the office (and no response to ticket). Horrendous experience, particularly as funds are taken at time of booking.
EDIT: the company’s phone lines were not operational - I tried ringing four times, and got ‘team unavailable’ answer messages. It took the team almost 3 hours to respond to the ticket.

A 5:30am Glasgow Airport transfer not going to plan is about as stressful a situation as we can imagine and we are truly sorry it resulted in you having to arrange alternative transportation at that hour. GLA Transfers operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week and reliable punctual airport transfers are the foundation of everything we do. I'm sorry, and I need to correct something we said.
We initially told you our phone lines were live that morning. That was wrong. We have since found a fault on the line and it has now been fixed. You rang four times and could not get through, exactly as you said, and I should not have told you otherwise.
Your driver did not arrive for a 5:30am Glasgow Airport transfer, which is the one booking that has to work. Your fare was refunded in full the same day, though that does not undo having to find your own way to the airport at that hour. You also waited almost three hours for a reply to your ticket, which is too slow.
The driver concerned is being dealt with directly. The line fault is resolved.

Possibly the worst taxi experience I’ve ever had
Booked an 2.40am pick up from Glasgow to Edinburgh airport. Booked for 3 passengers plus one large and two small suitcases plus a wheelchair.
Driver wasn’t given our full address or the What3words location we supplied - so came to the wrong location. He wasn’t told there would be a fold up wheelchair. His face was like fizz when he saw the wheelchair.
On the motorway he consistently and considerably exceeded the speed limit. We were so worried about our safety we had to ask him to slow down. That did not improve his mood. When we arrived at Edinburgh he let my 74 year old mother struggle the wheelchair out of the car. Still in a foul mood he drove out without a word. Obviously I would not recommend this company.
Update: well I did contact them directly . Surprise - heard nothing.

What you have described falls significantly short of the standard we hold every GLA Transfers driver to. The address information and What3words location were provided at the time of booking and should have been passed to your driver in full. That this did not happen is an operational failure on our part and we are sorry for the stress that caused at 2:40am.
The speeding concern is something we take extremely seriously. Passenger safety is non-negotiable and a driver being asked to slow down by passengers should never happen. The lack of assistance with the wheelchair and the attitude throughout are equally unacceptable and not representative of the service we expect from our drivers.
As we have not received a direct complaint for this booking we have been unable to investigate fully. We would ask that you contact us with your booking reference number so we can trace the journey and address everything you have raised properly.
We are truly sorry this was your experience and we hope you will give us the opportunity to investigate and respond accordingly.
