Friend let me know about GMC, how they were the best DDOS protection on the market, I was a bit concerned about switching over and the hassle of transferring all of the files over, the down time, the loss of players, etc. All I can say my server has not gone completely offline from a DDOS attack like NFO. Pings may get high for about 10-45 seconds and still playable, and then they will slowly go back down and return to regular gameplay.

Owner is professional, very active on steam, and knows what he is doing.
I personally have a Full Dedicated Machine with GMC and its only an extra $5 compared to NFO. Its worth the extra 5 for the great ddos protection.

This host currently has the best ddos protection out of every single one which makes it very valuable for owners who care for their community.

If you are a big community struggling with being attacked, Its worth the downtime and slight loss of players for the better ddos protection in the long run.

For the last 3 years, I've been running Garry's Mod Servers and the service at GMC has been superb compared to others.

First off, there's a lot more communication and support. It seemed with other hosts I would have the problem that I would get customer service and/or support that would not know how to answer something so the ticket would be on hold for a few days (Waiting for the CEO). With GMC, so far, I've been able to communicate easily with the owner and been able to bring up problems, concerns, etc. at a fast pace.

Second, the DDoS protection. I was a bit wary switching to GMC since most hosting companies offer and advertise DDoS protection and it seems as though you never know how good or bad it's going to be. I can say now that it is more than advertised. Since I have a popular server, attacks are almost constant and unbearable but with GMC I have had no issues with attacks and his VSE guard really does stand up against the biggest and worst source engine attacks.

As for the hardware, it holds up with my 128 slot server fine, and I can not complain. Wish I could write more about this, but I know very little about hardware. Can just say I've had little to no problems in this area as well.

I am a dedicated server customer at GMCHosting and have been for about 3 months now. GMCHosting has protected us from several DDOS attacks over the past 3 Months and kept us from being taken down even once. I recommend them to any server owner due to there great hardware and even greater DDOS protection service.

Came to GMCHosting after having sever problems with expanding because just as my servers would get popular there would be people there to DDOS your server to try and ruin it. After switching to GMCHosting, the server hasn't gone down once to DDOS and my servers have all seen significant growth. The owner of GMCHosting is very reliable and is always answering my questions in a timely matter without any hastle. Definitely would suggest GMCHosting to anyone that is trying to expand their servers and are frequently running into downtime issues on their other host!

Hello there Trustpilot readers! I'm here to share my story with GMCHosting, it's a lengthy read, but I hope it help some of you make a decision! Alright, I've been hosting Gmod servers since late 2013, my servers have always been top 3 within any category I reach out to, simply because I have a 10k users steamgroup. I've tried just about any host that may come to mind, including GMC, NFO, Serenity, Xenon, Nitrous, Bisect and many more... After trying many OVH resellers and having an overall bad experience, I've decided to move over to NFO (who owns their datacenters) where I was pleased with my stay for the most part, for an entire year, however, at the end of 2015 it seems that the company had a massive drop in quality, and they were not willing to cooperate in order to help customers out of their situations.
I found that my server which at one point hit 100 users daily, never to be seen dropping under 50 at any point of the day, is now being null-routed by DDoS attacks for days and days on end, leaving me with under 50 users to manage on days where the attackers spared me, aswell as many chargebacks from those who thought the community was long past saving. Hopelessly, I began reaching out to people who are interested in taking my community away from me seeing as I was led to believe it was a personal attack, and decided to make a Facepunch thread reaching out for help, where I was initially introduced to Ertug, the CEO of GMC Hosting. Ertug at first, I must admit sounded like a very sketchy person. He was a nobody, with a one-man-operation which popped up making claims such as "I'll save your server", "I have the resources to protect you from DDoS attacks that no other host can", "my servers have never gotten a single nullroute". I spoke to the guy for a couple of hours, and he seemed very genuine, however, I initially turned him down as things seemed too good to be true. My DDoS attacks at that point stopped, and my server was regaining its popularity over the period of 1-month, however, again - the very first my community 100 users at peak time, I received a 24-hour nullroute. At that point, I packed my things and moved over to GMC Hosting as a last resort. Needless to say, I have never left GMC, and I talk to Ertug every single day. Ertug it a sweet and caring guy who WILL dedicate you one-on-one sessions in his teamspeak room, if you're concerned or find certain things with your community troubling. My server has not been down in the period of time that I'd been hosted through GMC, and I've been on the top 5 servers on Gmod ever since - maintaining 90 users during peak times, and 30 through the nights.
Don't make the mistake I made, holding Ertug off because of reasons such as him being an OVH reseller, or a one-man-operation, because I can assure you he's no average "reseller", neither does he ever seem to sleep, so support has been 24/7 from as far as I've seen. GMC is slowly becoming a standard host for any top 25 community (as you may find out by using a quick Gametracker search) and that is for a reason.
I find that becoming a server on that level is no longer doable without his protection, and hope you guys don't make the mistake I did, holding this man off. He is in fact genuine about his words. Thank you for reading!

First of all I'll start my review by saying I've been with alot of hosting servies within gmod stretching from 3 years ago till today.

Those have been decent but they're not nearly as hands on GMChosting is.
For me that focuses on GMOD hosting I can't find a better host than GMC, their expertise and depth of knowledge is impressive.
I found GMC through a facepunch thread and after we changed we have gotten solid personal support and also very reliable servers which delivers for a fair price.

If it's quality you are looking for look no further, you've found it.
Everything is simply awesome, and they're "the choice" to settle with.

We've been using GMCHosting at VisionRP for a little while and I genuinely cannot think of any cons from being with them, it's all pros.

There support has always been replying within 5 minutes of a ticket with helpful support that's in depth. They are happy to help your server grow and have helped me out on multiple occasions. Seriously, these guys know there stuff.

The DDOS protection is also excellent, opposing server owners have tried attacking our server and didn't get anywhere, just flopped when they got to GMC's great DDOS protection.

All in all, 5/5 easily from me,

Seriously it is the best gmod server hosting you can find, it's cheap, VERY fast Support (LiveChat), and perfomances. Example, I have a gmod server and have 42-46 players daily in DarkRp with more than 200 addons, WITHOUT laggs ! The support is just too fast, if you have any problem you can just contact the support without any problem and they will answer you in the next minutes or seconds ! I have this server host and it is amazing, they have amazing support team to which any issues are resolved nearly instantly and the server is always up and if anything goes wrong it comes back automatically. I would recommend this to everyone.

I've used GMCHosting for a few days now and I'm yet to have any major issues. Their custom control panel allows for ease of use and very fast loading times. Their servers are lightning fast with very low ping and much more. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for cheap and reliable hosting.
