Made our experience
A really great company. Gocampers was recommended to me by a friend so I took advantage of their referral program. I wasn’t at all disappointed, they made every step of the hiring process easy and their website is exceptionally useful. All the staff members are amazing and so helpful but I need to give an extra special thank you to Glenn, who went above and beyond to help me and my friend on our last day in Iceland. Would highly recommend you use gocampers for your holiday you won’t regret it!
Very nice employees
Very nice employees, fast response on e-mail. Direct repayment when our WiFi-router have problems. Good Dacia-duster with roof-top tent. No hussel when returning the car.
Best customer support ever!
We rent a camper
We rent a camper; after 2 days the engine did not start anymore. Christofer from GoCamper arranged for is a place to sleep and the next day they send us a different and at some points, even a better camper (4x4).
WITHOUT ANY EXTRA COST!
Many thanx to Christofer for let us continue our trip through Iceland.

Everything was perfect !!
Incredible customer service
Incredible customer service! From the point the staff picked us to the point where we handed back the keys to our vehicle, we were well looked after. The campervan that we hired was quite sturdy despite the numerous gravel roads we drive down. Highly recommend!
Extremely friendly staff
Extremely friendly staff - an honest and helpful place to rent a camper! We rented a five person campervan for 6 days and had no issues what so ever.
Rented 2-person campervan for 16 days
Rented 2-person campervan for 16 days. Great experience and communication and help.

Great 18-day trip!
Rented smallest van for 18 days. Everything great. Service by office excellent.
We had an excellent experience!
We had an excellent experience with Go Campers. We were concerned initially when our camper had a window issue, but Go Campers not only took care of the problem right away, but they gave us another camper to use while they fixed the problem. (We needed to get a rain jacket and groceries before the stores closed.)
My wife and I rented the 2 person go smart automatic camper van. We are 5' 7" and 5' 5". the camper was plenty big for the two of us. The pads were comfortable to sleep on and easy to move around as needed.
The fuel economy was excellent. (We had a diesel.)
The "kitchen" provided by Go Campers was better than we were expecting! The one burner stove worked great, the pots, pans, and utensils were just what we needed for breakfast and dinner prep. We were given a cooler for food storage which worked great, as long as we could find ice (why is it hard to find ice in Iceland?:-)
We had the camper for 2 1/2 weeks, traveling the Ring Road, chasing sunshine and hiking opportunities. We drove a fair amount in comfort and economy.
If I had a complaint about Go Campers, it would be the wait time to get your camper and to return your camper. Just allow a little extra time when arriving or departing. (30 to 45 minutes.)
We would definitely rent from Go Campers again!
The perfect solution for cost-effective independent travelling in Iceland
Iceland is a dream destination for travellers who love taking road trips in search of memorable images, with spectacular scenery to be found in every part of the country. The ideal way to see her wonders is to rent a campervan, because that option allows you to stop wherever you want to, rather than rushing from one hotel to another.
For my third Ring Road trip, I chose Go Campers for my vehicle, as they offered a fantastic range of options at very competitive rates, combined with years of experience and helpful advice too.
The Dacia Dokker I selected was easy-to-drive, perfectly capable of handling any steep hill ascents and ultra-smooth in handling too. The comfortable bedding and the storage areas made great use of the available space, combined with lots of useful utensils for cooking and cleaning too.
It was also very fuel-efficient, surprising me with its long range between fill-ups. Not only that, but the radio/iPod connectors meant it was easy to listen to music and podcasts too.
I couldn't have been happier with my car from Go Campers, including the collection and drop-off process back at their offices too.
Highly recommended, in every sense.
Great experience, would definitely use again
We had never driven a campervan before, and the Go Smart van was a great experience. The mattress, the sleeping bags, the duvets and the pillows were so comfortable! We even want to buy these same duvets for our home. We slept in the camper better than we did in guesthouses, and the near-freezing temperatures outside and the strong winds at night didn't bother us at all. I'm over 180cm tall and I slept really well.
Every other traveller we met along the way who looked into our van told us that the structure and division of space in our van made more sense than in the campervans they had rented from other companies.
The van itself is compact and easy to drive and park (the only thing missing is rear view, so in busy parking lots I needed some help backing up).
We would no doubt rent from Go Campers again.
Tips for other travellers:
1. Definitely take the duvet set!
2. We took the gas BBQ, but ended up not using it because most campgrounds have a nice kitchen. But the little gas stove came very handy for preparing lunch.
3. The only thing we should have probably done slightly differently is to select the office rather than the airport as the starting point and take the public bus from the airport to Hafnarfjördur (close to the office), because we had to wait for the ride from the airport to the office for half an hour in the cold and it cost 60 euros.
Iceland trip in May 2021
Go Campers made our trip to Iceland go from good to perfect. As a first time using a camper van in a new country, it was a wonderful experience. We were free to go literally anywhere given that we had the car for 8 days and there were camping sites all over the place. We also paid for the remote wifi, which was super convenient to use maps and keep our families updated at all times. The car had everything we needed. We rented a van that fits 5 people but we were only 2; therefore, we had extra space to put out belongings in the bottom and sleep on the top. Highly recommended!!
Everything was great
Great service! Great people! Great Camper! Great experience!
Iceland in April

Client satisfaction first
We greatly appreciated our relationship with the Go Camper team. They are very attentive and responsive. After a serious problem with a function of our vehicle, they replaced our 4x4 the next morning when we were already far away from the agency. We can, of course, find fault with some details, but this is insignificant compared to the overall service. Go Camper has a sense of customer satisfaction.

All in all great stuff
Picked up at the airport. No hassle and was driven straight to the car. Quick guide on the car and was given som suggestions for the route we took.
Brilliant car the Renault traffic. Had a blast driving it and got us almost everywhere (except f-roads).
Easy return. We cleaned the car fairly well, and they even had someone who had to pick up someone at the airport so we even had a lift there.
All in all, just great stuff. Well-priced, good car, friendly staff and it was a brilliant trip.
Only thing we where quite pissed about was the smelly fridge they gave us. There was some water that smelled and we decided to keep it closed for the whole trip. We are gonna let that slide because we had fun :))

GoCamper is a fantastic camper van…
GoCamper is a fantastic camper van rental just outside of Reykjavík. I took a trip in the standard sized van they offer in March 2020 with one other person. The accommodations we very comfortable, considering the renovations of the van everything inside the van was easily accessible. We took the van on ring road the perimeter road of iceland for 7 days and had an amazing time. The van was reliable and ran really well, and the instruction Manuel in the glove compartment answered any questions that came up about the vehicle. The GoCampers company itself was excellent, they answered the phone at all the hours of the day and were able to assist us or redirect us if we needed any help or info. One thing about March in Iceland is that it is still very cold especially at night, the heater in the camper that runs off generator works well but we were still cold, extra blankets were needed. Other than that everything was smooth and our trip was unforgettable. A very special thanks to GoCampers for an amazing experience, I hope to be back in the summer for another adventure.

12 days on the ring road + west fjords
We spent 12 days (and nights) in the back of the Mitsubishi Pajero driving the ring road + West Fjords at the end of August and could not have asked for a better way to camp. The SUV was large and comfy, warm at night (the heater was awesome!) and handled the F-Roads and gravel extremely well. My only criticism would be to include a shield for the stove, as the wind can frequently blow the flame out when you’re cooking!
