Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 74 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported payments of £40.56 being debited or attempted from their accounts that they did not recall authorizing, often without any prior knowledge of the company or having subscribed to any service. People frequently discovered these transactions through their bank's alerts or by checking their statements. Reviewers expressed frustration over unexpected charges and the recurring nature of these attempts. Many had to contact their banks to block further payments, cancel services they did not recall initiating, and often had to replace their debit cards. The company's website was described as vague, offering little clarity on their services, and attempts to contact them for refunds or cancellations were often met with unresponsiveness or limited options. While some banks were proactive in blocking or refunding these payments, other customers faced difficulties in getting their banks to resolve the transactions, especially if Apple Pay was involved.

Money taken unknowingly !!!

I notice £40.84 taken from my account and didnt recognise the company, so i messaged them, and their reply was to tell me that i had subscribed, but that they would cancel the subscription, but not refund me. Ive paid for domething called single click ?? Its shocking that they take money from amyone, and really morally wrong to take it from a noy so savvy online pensioner. Steer clear!!! If i could put the reply i got from them in here I would!! H.B..Belfast

It's a scam, they keep trying to take the exact amount of £40.56, luckily my bank has blocked them although they are still determined to keep trying.

Beware a scam

Go care have taken £40.56 from my Mastercard in August and have attempted to take the same sum in September. It's an absolute scam. I don't know them and have never had contact with them. I have reported them to my credit card provider and only getting a new card can prevent them trying again. My provider will attempt to recover my money from Mastercard.

They got hold of £40.56

They got hold of £40.56. I managed to cancel the so called subscription to a tv and games scam. The number I called was 08000418781, but had to ring nine times as I was cut off and told to call later.
My bank, The Halifax do not accept its fraud and will not refund me as they state I subscribed to it using Apple Pay, but my Apple Wallet has no record. So I suppose I have to accept the loss of that money through no input from me!!
I think I will have to look for another bank as a lot of reviews state their banks have either stopped the payment or refunded the payment. You would have thought all banks would be on top of this scam and take action to prevent The transfer of funds in the 1st place and avoid a load of hassle and loss

BEWARE!! SCAMMERS!!

We were contacted by our credit card company as they believed that this was a fraudulent payment. The amount? £40:56!! Seem to have seen that somewhere before.

How right they were!! Absolutely no idea where they got our information from. Hackers, call centre staff, insiders. Who knows. But they did.

The implications are far reaching. Changing your bank, changing your credit card, blocking the scammers. GETTING YOUR MONEY back.

‼️SCAM ALERT‼️

‼️SCAM ALERT‼️ £40.56 transaction taken from bank account by Gocarehelp.com without consent. Reported as fraud so bank card frozen - worth it if scam gets closed down.

Clever scam

Clever scam! I believe they somehow tag their subscription into other companies websites and so when you agree to the terms and conditions it sets up a monthly payment of £40.56. My bank can’t do anything whilst it’s pending so make sure you freeze your card, cancel the subscription with gocarehelp and email asking for a refund. My bank will only investigate once they take the money but if you agreed to the subscription you may not get your money back from either. Be careful what you sign up for. Hope this helps someone out there from being cheated!!!

ebSCAM GoCare sets up recurring £40 without permissioncustomer service taking money direct from bank

SCAM - Thank goodness my bank blocked several attempts of £40+ in August and alerted me. I had never heard of Gocare before this incident. At least I have some cash reserves to cover my transport to work for the next 7 or so days while I wait for new card and bank to block future transactions. My research led me to their website, their service is vague, shows image of a man smiling. Nothing helpful or useful.

It's a scam

It's a scam - it coincided with me downloading a Tesla EV charging app for which I authorised a £0 transaction in case I need to use a charger on a future road trip. Fortunately my bank did not authorise the gocarehelp transactions, but I did have to phone the bank so that my card would work again. I've also deleted the Tesla app!
