This review is specifically for Manor Farm lake. We had high expectations given the reputation of the venue but was surprised at the apparent lack of upkeep for this particular lake. My peg (peg 2) was falling to pieces, my friend in peg 1 couldn't cast properly because of overhanging trees, pegs 6 & 7 were water logged yet still available to be booked and we didn't see a bailiff in sight on our lake the whole 48 hours we were there. Given how well known the venue is I expected a lot more. I would probably visit the complex again but would definitely fish a different lake

Had a good few days at tar farm lake 5 plus I had 3 fish out as well.

The lake was nice but sadly it was riddled with crayfish. Really bad! I feel that somewhere like Linear and the resources they have, they could certainly improve that situation. Other anglers I spoke to felt the same.

Always love going to linear, Hunts is slightly more expensive than the others but you get tonnes of water had a 23lb mirror and a 34lb 4oz common. Fully recommend the place.... A1

It would of been nice to see a Balif or someone to get up to date info about the lake and how it’s been fishing but otherwise an awesome place to fish

Very well organised place with a well stocked on site shop. The swims are nice and big and well maintained. Unfortunately I didn't catch, but with it been my first time on the water would have been lucky if I did. Will definitely think about going on there again, but a 240 mile round trip it's a long way to go.

I think the crayfish problem really needs to be sorted out before they charge anyone else to fish it. I know they’re in a lot of waters but seems this lake ( hunts corner ) has a particular large amount of them, and they spoilt the trip. Was talking to a few people on the lake and they said the same. Definitely a problem that needs tackled

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Linear Fisheries Manor Farm lake. The only thing I would give feedback on to improve the complex is the accessibility to the peg’s. Due to mobility issues for my father and myself we found it hard going getting our tackle to the pegs. A hardcore path around the lake would be a great benefit to make the access better. Other than this the experience in using the Catch app to book and the friendly and professional staff in the on-site tackle shop and the complex as a whole were very positive. Will definitely be returning to Linear.

Fished hunts corner for 48hr, first time fishing that lake and it’ll be my last time fishing it, day time was fine but come night time that’s when all the rats come out to play! So many of them, come right up to the door of your bivvy! Never again!
