Avoid! They use various fitters and we were told by one of the fitters most of his recent work is fixing the original fitters work we had - I’ve held off leaving a review as I was hoping the experience could be rectified however after the experience yesterday and email received I wanted to make others aware. It’s been utterly draining.

It’s taken 3 months to get issues resolved. The carpet was initially a housewarming gift and laid in November, issues raised and the same fitted came and told us ‘it’ll settle’ it’s fine. We then pushed again, I was called and a date was given for a second visit to come. Much to my surprise I was called the day after that call and asked if we’d sorted a date - utterly unbelievable. Then rebooked the date as they hadn’t put it in their diary.

The second fitter came and confirmed numerous issues including the carpet securings completely missed on the stairs and cutting off large chunks of carpet. The fitter said call us out as much as we’re needed as they get paid each time by the shop - I said in the nicest way possible I hope this isn’t needed again as it was already quite a tiresome experience. We were told the creases would settle - something we’ve been told a number of times now - shock they didn’t. We had made them aware that the stairs were the main issue and causing slips due to being unsecured and baggy/rippled.

At this point I requested the shop come out and see this as nothing is being resolved (January). This was ignored and the second fitter sent out again - there is only so much patching up you can do for an appalling job. I then contact the shop AGAIN. They then finally come out themselves on the 7th Feb - they agree the carpet isn’t fitted well and put it down to everyone having bad days. They then arrange to redo the carpet today (27th Feb). This was done yesterday and looks significantly better however the email today put total blame on us following a pets accident on the landing on the 21st Feb which I did really apologise for. Had they fitted the carpet correctly in NOVEMBER they wouldn’t have had to experience this or had they corrected this at any point on the previous FOUR visits. You’d be better off going to an independent carpet fitter with better customer care

misunderstanding within the company around installation dates....was sorted pretty quickly but at that point I had packed up and left work! everyone i dealt with was pleasant.

The whole experience was excellent from showroom visit to the survey of our house then the floor and carpet laying. Joe + Jack, the fitters were really pleasant and polite and completed the work in a first class manner leaving everywhere clean and tidy.

Having made several unsuccessful attempts locally to find the bedroom carpet I had in mind, I decided to look further afield. I found local carpet suppliers in Milton Keynes to be too expensive, unhelpful, inclined to add additional charges such as delivery or all of the aforementioned. Having bought a bedroom carpet from GoFloorIt when it was Gowlings (and it's still looking perfect), I went back to their showroom and explained what I was looking for. As with that first visit some years ago, within minutes this time around I was shown a perfect sample and from there it was a very easy and reassuring process to finally get the perffect carpet at a very good price with no hidden extras. Indeed, they advised that the underlay I was thinking of including was unnecessarily expensive for a bedroom and offered a much more appropriate quality. Their fitter has done an excellent job and left the room and surrounding areas clean and tidy and, whilst having explained that there is a possibility of one or two scuff marks on the walls during the fitting, there were no marks at all by the time the job was complete. What he did leave was a helpful care guide. Excellent service all around, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This is the second time we have used GOFLOORIT in Towcester & as usual we received excellent & professional service from both the showroom & the fitters. Very pleased with the new carpet & would definitely recommend them.

I could not recommend Go Floor It enough, despite having their showroom flooded Richard sent me an email to reassure us that our carpet fitting would go ahead. The fitters arrive on time and fitted our new carpet perfectly. I hope your showroom drys out quickly and doesn’t interrupt your business 😀

Fantastic service from start to finish. Richard and Nick were so professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and patient as I asked many questions and took my time choosing my hard flooring and carpets. They worked around me totally in terms of timing, and were very quick to respond to my messages. Joe and Louie who completed the fitting were brilliant, so professional and friendly, and did a wonderful job, to a very high standard. Absolutely no corners were cut and their attention to detail second to none. I honestly can't praise them enough. The whole team is highly recommended. Really happy, the floors look great.

The whole experience was great

We were looking for engineered wooden flooring initially, when we went into the shop in Towcester, but with the alternative ranges on show we decided to go for an LVT floor instead.

The whole process was professional friendly, with (sorry I can't recall the name of the guy in the shop) being really helpful, to Richard who came around, measured up and quoted the job. We were kept informed of what was happening all the way through. The fitters who actually did the job were on time, very tidy workers and they did a fabulous job. As my wife said, the end resuklt was better than she could have ever imagined.

Fantastic service received at Gofloorit from the minute we walked through the showroom door until the carpets went down! Richard was so knowledgeable about the products and was able to answer all our questions. He came out and measured up and sent our quote through really promptly. The carpets were ordered and fitted within a really good time frame and are great quality. Highly recommend Gofloorit and would use them again :)

GoFloorIt of Towcester I can highly recommend for both Carpets and Vinyl. The team were friendly and helpful in store, offering great advice and helped me with finding the right carpet and vinyl for my home. Richard visited my home and measured all the rooms required and promptly sent me the quote for the order at a very good price too! Fitting was quickly arranged and carried out to a high standard. Im very happy with their service and will certainly use them again.

Friendly and professional service.

The overall service, support and delivery of the products to our home has been excellent.

Richard has been extremely patient and given great and responsive service (while we have managed our project and some changes our end, sorry Richard).

And the carpet fitters were very good with the odd very small issue (which naturally comes up when doing work like this) which we have been able to resolve very speedily on the day.

Would highly recommend and would 100% use again go floor it again for any future flooring work.
