I donated to the Food and Nutrition for the Vulnerable Crowdfunding Campaign which ended 31 August 2020. The campaign was held in partnership with a Christian based small family business established in South Africa in 1981, and the funds were being raised for Ladysmith Hospice in South Africa. I have been in contact with the Campaign Manager and it was very disappointing to find out that they have been unable to access the funds and GoGetFunding is never satisfied with the business' submission of documents for verification. The campaign manager has been dealing with Victoria who has been of little assistance. I find it difficult to comprehend how verification occurs after the funds have been raised, and how difficult it is to verify a business that has existed for decades longer than GoGetFunding. I hope the issue gets resolved soon and Ladysmith Hospice receives what is due to them because the delayed process of accessing funds is going to taint the reputation of the family business as well as the campaign manager. I gave two stars only because it was easy to launch the campaign but the service delivery deserves only one star.

My GGF campaign was quite successful, easy setup and everything you need to explain to your donators.
Unfortunately I had to withdraw it, as the researchers I had asked to support had delevered a bogus study. Thus I decided to refund all donators (which I did). That was easier than I thought it to be. Most helpful in this has been Mandy from GGF support. I can really recommend GGF to anyone. LB 28-9-2020

I cannot thank Victoria enough for her help,guidance and patience while we established the funding page for the charity. We wanted the funds to go directly to the charity account for a variety of reasons. We are a small non profit charity run entirely by volunteers. None of us really has experience or expertise in this kind of thing. I doubt if we could have achieved the creation of the funding page with Victoria's assistance. If I am honest I would have given up and tried another site had I not been able speak to her about the various issues we had. Thank you so much for your help.

I launched a Fundraising platform for myself to try and raise funds for delivery of my baby.
I have had some technical issues which Mandy T as your Customer Support Agent has been assisting me with and she is Phenomenal! She has been speedy on responses and patient and Well She is A ROCKSTAR!!!!

I chose to use GoGetFunding for my campaign because it was available in my country, Honduras, unlike all the other mainstream fundraising sites. The funds were sent to my PayPal account directly and the fees for each donation were low compared to other sites. Overall I had a great experience and was able to reach my goal and help the cause I was campaigning for.

The site is fantastic and very easy to use. However, if you're South African note the 20 day wait you have before you can withdraw the donations .. as well as the huge deduction from your total. I got R3860 taken from my crowdfunding causing me to fall sort of my target, yet the crowdfunding reads as 'fulfilled' yet R3860 of other people's donations are not in my possession -- this has been v difficult as I needed a specific amount for housing and was never made aware of it prior to attempting to withdraw.

But otherwise the site is pleasant, just some concerning fee charges and withdrawal policies. I wish they would lower their fee as this is a site mostly for folks in desperate situations like myself and R3860 ($217.50) is a lot of money

Victoria - she has been so reliable, so helpful - consistent in checking up and committed to assisting me solve the initial difficulties I experienced as I was completely new to the platform. Her response time was great and I have appreciated her efficiency and support. It is a daunting process to start a campaign page especially when the goal of raising funds is an emotional one! Thank you Victoria - she has been amazing.

Really great experience - user friendly and the majority of the raised amounts goes to the charity

It works in different countries and it is pretty easy to use. However, 4% on each donation is a bit steep, maybe fees should be charged just one time on the final amount raised

I might be stupid enough to not understand the whole process of withdrawal and adding the documents correctly however GoGetFunding has kind people like Victoria to neutralize that stupidity with their technical support.

My passport got expired few days before the campaign ended and I wanted to withdraw and send in that amount to the person I was fundraising for. Victoria helped me through out, finding solutions after solutions for me. Finally, the withdrawal was a success!

This is a very great platform I saw so many successful campaigns and I am so greatfull ....thank you for your excellent work..i also launched a campaign yesterday and hoping for the best...just one question my husband tried to look for my campaign today but could not find it....I am not complaining I am just so nervous as i am so new to this i dony want it to get lost or something

Victoria was amazingly helpful! They were extremely patient with all the questions I had about fear of harassment. They helped me setup paypal and stripe when I was having issues. I really really appreciate the patience and help that Victoria has given. Thank you so much!

Wonderful fundraising experience. Loads more ways to promote and manage your fundraiser vs other sites. Payout in 2 days. Would def use again

Really great platform and easy-to-work-with team. All questions are answered quickly (although everything is so clearly explained, that only few questions may arise). Great team, replying in maximum an hour. And, it's especially good that it's possible to amend the campaign on the way. Thanks and good luck!
