The only problem I have is that you should start finding a driver earlier than you do. Sometime the driver can not get to the pick up point for the designated time because they are to far away

My name is Charles Wilson. The error and misunderstanding withGoGoGrandparent was on me. On 5/I/26 I thought I was being charged unfairly and I was not. I do apologize for my impatient assumptions without first verifying them. I will call today to express my apology and to renew my membership if it's been cancelled. This company went out of its way to try and settle the issue fairly but I became very defensive and thought they were trying to take advantage of a 77 year old senior citizen. It was quite the opposite! I do highly recommend GoGo Grandparent for any travel help and assistance needs.

I’m thankful for finding Go Go Grandparent for my transportation needs.
I always have had a positive experience with Go Go.
Their telephone operators are always very pleasant & efficient in making sure I get my ride on time.
I feel safe with their identification system when letting you know the make & model, color of the car, last 3 letters of the marker plate & drivers name. Very good system, especially today with all the crime in this day & age.
The drivers cars are always very clean, & the drivers are always very professional.
And their system of letting their customers have an account & pay via their charge cards is another plus as well.

Hi, what made my experience great is that both of the drivers were kind and awesome. The driver who picked me up from the grocery store, kindly opened the back of the SUV so that I could put the groceries in the back of the SUV. He also helped me. While I was waiting for the Uber Go-Go driver, a "look-alike" vehicle pulled up. I called Uber back and spoke with Joan who was so nice too. She stayed on the line until the Uber driver arrived. When I got home after unpacking my groceries, I called Uber and spoke with Ruel who was also kind and professional. I advised Ruel how awesome, the two drivers and Joan were. Also, Ruel was awesome, too. Thank you so much 😊.

Do not use this seevice. They have no consideration for life changes and will not refund even a part of a prepaid membership. In addition, they "open a case" for a supervisor to call you back to discuss and it does not happen. I now have to be sure that they do not try to automatically renew this account.

Update: I appreciate the quick and thoughtful response from GoGo. Without going into a bunch more detail, I am happy the company has forwarded part of the problem to their engineering department. I still am curious about how drivers are vetted and how the system could work with a landline; but that’s not specific to this situation. Also, I realize my mom could have called a cab or Lyft herself, but she didn’t. She has never needed to ask for rides or rely on her cellphone, so this is all new to her. Thank you again for your quick response and detail related to her specific situation.
I set this service up for my 86 year old mom, who just recently had to stop driving. She used it for the first time yesterday, and ended up walking over a mile home, with her walker, after just receiving a painful eye injection.
The first driver picking my mom up after her appointment cancelled. When my mom called back, she was told the price had increased. This upset her, she was already stressed, started crying, and hung up (I am paying this for her). GoGo did not call back.
This is just my mom’s experience, but for a company whose goal is to provide safe rides for seniors, and peace of my mind to their family members, they dropped the ball on this.
A couple of comments: The website states that the drivers are vetted. When I asked how the Uber and Lyft drivers were vetted, the person on the phone didn’t seem to know what I was talking about, which wasn’t reassuring. Perhaps some more training is needed for their phone reps. Also, how are the drivers vetted?
The website also states that you can use their service even if you just have a landline, but I couldn’t figure out that works . What if you’re grocery shopping and don’t know when you’ll be ready to be picked up?
I’m writing all of this because the thought of my elderly mom walking home in the afternoon Florida sun ( at least it wasn’t the middle of summer) breaks my heart. I thought I was doing something to help her.
I know this service seems to work well for most seniors, didn’t go so well for my mom.

HORRIBLE! CUSTOMER SERVICE! I called to find out about this service and if they cover the area I am looking to move to and how much and how, just to get a quick Idea. The woman had a strong accent and I could not hear her because of that, she then became very age discriminatory towards me. How rude, I do not recommend this service to anyone, it seems like a scam!

Summer was excellent. A great effective communicator, she explained how the services work. She was kind, thorough, very helpful. She said, I would receive the hard copy booklet in the mail at my request.

This company is a scam. I called to get some information before signing up. I wanted to know how much it would cost to go from my house to a business. They told me $13. I told them that's fair and I would sign using it one time as a trial. They took all my information and then told me it was $25 and she didn't understand why it jumped so high. That's bullshit! They get you to sign up and then raise the price. Stay away from this company. They do very underhanded business.
