Thank you for sharing your perspective. We’re sorry to hear that your experience working with rides arranged through our platform has been frustrating.

GoGoGrandparent partners with third-party transportation providers such as Uber and Lyft to arrange rides on behalf of older adults and individuals who may not be able to use smartphones.

Many of the people who use our service are seniors. Some receive subsidies through local community partners, while others live on fixed incomes, which can sometimes affect their ability to tip. At the same time, we absolutely recognize that drivers often go above and beyond while assisting our members, especially when additional help is requested or needed.

We always encourage our customers to tip drivers. We let them know they can tip in cash or contact us within an hour after the ride so we can add a tip to the ride on their behalf.

We also hear the feedback from drivers and are actively working internally on ways to better encourage tipping from customers. We are currently testing different approaches to make tipping easier and more consistent for drivers who provide that extra assistance.

Great service, really good communications with several forms of contact, voice, text & Email. Good follow up. Reliable with current information. Little bit of a time lag between concierge contact and the actual driver to be expected as there are two entities. Disappointing Experience

This company failed to register our parents phone numbers and every time we called to test the service we are asked to confirm our names, birthdays, and address. Multiple representatives attempted to assist but none could set up the account properly. Given this service is to help seniors, it is a frustrating experience. One representative advise for our parents to set up a trial account when we had already registered and paid for the service. It does not work senior parents or the caregiver. We do not recommend this service.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. We truly understand how frustrating this must have felt, especially when your goal was simply to set up something helpful and reliable for your parents.

After carefully reviewing everything, we were able to identify the source of the confusion. Two separate accounts had been created through our online registration process, which caused overlapping and conflicting information in our system. To be transparent, even during our internal review this created some confusion on our end as well. Once we located both accounts, we were able to consolidate and properly update everything.

The account is currently closed, as requested. However, we have corrected and updated all information so that:
• The account is now properly structured under your parents’ names.
• Their correct phone numbers are listed as the primary contact numbers.
• You have been added appropriately as the loved one/contact.
• The pickup pin has been adjusted to the correct roundabout/canopy location to ensure accurate driver arrival.

We also confirmed that two complimentary rides (up to five miles each) remain available on the account. In addition, the membership fee was refunded as a courtesy, even though memberships are typically non-refundable.

If you decide to test the service again, those two rides are still available for you to use. We genuinely hope that if you choose to try it again, the experience will feel much smoother now that everything has been properly structured.

To make things even easier moving forward, we highly recommend adding saved locations. Saved locations significantly reduce confusion when ordering rides. We can assist with this by phone, email, or through Facebook Messenger. Messenger can be especially helpful because we’re able to share screenshots and confirm map pins in real time to ensure the pickup location is placed exactly where it should be.

Beyond transportation, your membership also provides access to grocery and meal delivery coordination, prescription pickup assistance, home services, and our virtual fitness classes held twice a week via Zoom.

We sincerely regret that your first experience felt complicated. Our goal is always to make things simple and dependable, and we appreciate the opportunity to review and correct what happened.

Was given an estimate and charged ~40% more than estimate. Got two different stories from poor people that answer the line. Won’t give up and will continue to fight for full credit of overcharge

After reviewing your account, we do see that a partial refund has already been processed in relation to the fare difference you mentioned. If you have not yet seen that adjustment, please allow 5–10 business days for it to reflect, depending on your bank’s processing times.

We also want to gently clarify something important regarding billing. Our records indicate that you are enrolled in a subsidy program through the Needham Council on Aging, which provides 100% coverage for two one-way rides per week. For those rides to be fully subsidized, they must be scheduled directly through the Council on Aging. When rides are booked directly through us instead, the standard fare structure applies and charges are processed accordingly.

We understand how confusing this can feel, especially when estimates and final totals differ due to real-time pricing factors. If you would like us to walk through the specific trip charges with you step-by-step, we’re more than happy to do so.

Absolutely horrible company

Absolutely horrible company. Driver dropped an elderly woman outside our business today and told her he had to pick someone else up. She had several errands she had told him she needed to run, he dropped her outside the DMV and LEFT HER THERE AND NEVER RETURNED. It was a very cold day, she was from a neighboring town and was basically abandoned. AND SHE WAS CHARGED! When she called them, after waiting nearly an hour, she was told they had no drivers available. Disgusting way to treat seniors.

Thieves!!!

This scam company charged an unauthorized amount of $245.88 to my bank account in addition to the fare and cancellation fee! These thieves are unscrupulous and if you are crazy enough to use them, you deserve what you get!
