Good car, mixed experiences with the employees

The employee at the counter was super nice and helpful. She did try to sell us goldcars very expensive insurance by trying to install insecurity in us, but that is their job and how the company makes the most money, so we weren't mad about it. One should be prepared though before renting the car and know what you need and what not.

The employee by the little booth where the cars are though was very unfriendly, rude and impatient. He did not want to look at scratches that weren't shown on the contract even though we had as it turns out legit worries. All the while he was very patronizing and made a rude remark towards my friend.

The car was clean and worked well, we were content with it. It would be a plus if they would install a phone mount because it didn't have built in navigation.

Cheaper and a good car

Cheaper and a good car. No issues at all with pickup and the guy was very helpful. On drop-off the lady noted a ding in the rear bumper but I wasn't told at the time - only just found out via reviewing my email. Didn't like that. Way cheaper than Enterprise in Rome.

Rome FCO

Rome FCO, car was good using the key n go service.
My only issue is when returning the car at 7am is trying to find a petrol station. I would prefer the option of half full on return. It's far easier to find stations out of Rome.
So in the end it cost a extra 50€ for not being full and 27€ for fuel

Stress free, smooth and efficient service.

This was the first time I have used the KeynGo service with Goldcar.
I chose this service as I had a bad experience previously when travelling to Milan and where I had to get a minibus to the collection office (not Goldcar), followed by several attempts to squeeze more money out of me.
Choosing this service ensured no hidden nasties and the whole process from start to finish was fast, simple and efficient.
Car was ready following key collection which was done via a machine at the collection point in the terminal car park which only required my booking reference.
Although it cost a bit more to take this service I couldn't put a price on how much stress and effort this approach saved me.

This was an altogether fabulous…

This was an altogether fabulous experience. Our flight was delayed by 3 hours, and from the point that I contacted the help desk to explain, they made everything easy. When we got to the desk in Rome, the counter staff were engaging and professional. The car was exactly what we had booked, was clean and ready to go. On return, the staff were again engaging and helpful - and prompt. Would definitely book again.

I registered my documents online

I registered my documents online. I had to show my documents to staff at desk as it was my first time to use service. The key was issued by a machine no need to queue. What a great idea also I took full insurance option great idea by Goldcar.

Excellent Rental experience

It was a very easy experience at the Rome airport. The customer service rep was extremely helpful. Assisted us to make sure that we had GPS added to the rental order to make sure that we will be safe. The car ran perfectly, and was very enjoyable. Also, the return was extremely easy. There were no hassles at all, I would rent from fox rental or gold car auto again in a moment.

Did not bring a replacement car to us…

Did not bring a replacement car to us and we only had a puncture but no spare wheel just a kit which didn’t hold. Would of been easier to send someone out with a replacement tyre/wheel.
Cost 200 euros to get to our accommodation and to go to Bergamo airport for a replacement car.
Replacement car did have a spare wheel but was scratched and dented in places.
