I own 7 miners all bought from…
I own 7 miners all bought from Goldshell the last 2 miners being the most expensive units arrived and neither one in working condition. It's a rather big outlay of cash then my experience with customer support has been god awful. They expect you to tear open the machine and give them report after report basically you need to be a computer technician. They still haven't sent the parts no offered discount for the trouble. Awful experience. Shawn Chaconas

Bought doge miner for 700 and it wouldnt stay on, fiinally it burned out in under 9 months contacted the comapny and nothing they are not responsive.... when I did get a response a week later it was denial their product failed and denial of warranty. Dont buy, their products shouldnt be allowed to be sold in the US
Beware of Goldshell support
As with many other comments here Goldshell are not to be trusted. I spent $7500 on a new HS5 miner only to receive a non functional miner, I have spend 5 months trying to get a replacement, or Money back, I have been through diagnostics on every part and every possibly log with the fake help desk operators, Bella, Adam and Anne. I assume they will continue repeating the diagnostics requests until the "warranty" period is over then simply tell me it's out of warranty. As with any respectable business once a dead on arrival unit is verified through diagnostics a replacement should be sent to the customer or money back. Goldshell will not honour any of the outcomes and will put you through an ownerous process of troubleshooting and diagnostics whilst using the money you paid to produce more miners and scam others.
Consumers Beware, The Risks are on You!
This is the only review you need to see to base your decision on where to spend your money. I have bought over 50 pieces of mining equipment, big compared to small shops or hobbyist, but not big enough to be respected by the vendors like Goldshell.
20 of my miners are from Goldshell and 14 of those are the smaller "box" versions.
Here is what you need to know.
If you buy directly from Goldshell and the product doesn't make it to you (lost in shipping) then you are likely out of luck. I know of a customer who purchased 3 CK-5's for ~$30,000 and ONLY received a small payment (~$300) from DHL as there was not insurance beyond that.
The mining hash boards on one of my CK-5 caught fire and blew up (no other miners on the same circuit were affected luckily). It happened just days outside of the 6 month warranty period and Goldshell informed me they can't sell me any replacement hash boards as they won't take boards from the new units they are selling.
The 3 CK-5's I bought have created more issues for me than ALL my other miners combined. All 3 units have ALL lost PSU's in under 6 months. Upon taking the CK-5's apart in supporting trouble shooting I have found a pretty wide variation in how the parts were assembled or "forced together" in some cases. This includes alot of extra work being made in collecting logs, taking videos, returning defective materials to Hong Kong.
One KD-5 has also experienced PSU issues in the warranty window and I was able to get that replaced after a month and then some of back and forth. I strongly believe the dialog to get the replacement for this could have been handled in a fraction of that time if Goldshell had been more motivated to help me.
Clearly, these 5 series products have issues and I suspect many customers will be impacted in the months ahead. With warranties expired, there will be a surge in the number of complaints.
For all blockchain enthusiasts the name of the game is profitability, so we must pick wisely where to spend our money to ensure gains. Goldshell has some great engineering work in their products, but they don't stand behind their products in a way which we can ensure we will turn a profit on our investments.
Their marketing makes it feel like they are for the small guy, but in reality the risk is really on the consumer when buying from Goldshell.
I sincerely hope they will establish better practices and policies for supporting the customers who have supported them.
Don't buy from this company
Don't buy from this company. They sent me a defective power unit and in order to get a replacement I need to ship it back. Meaning I need to invest more money to fix their mistake, terrible customer service.
Good customer service from goldshell (Bella)
Greetings to all goldshell interested!
Over the last month, I have been in contact with Bella from customer service.
I bought a goldshell ck5 where that psu suddenly did not work.
I contacted customer service and got an answer from Bella who explained me about the process from here.
I have then sent the PSU back and am now awaiting a tracking number as it is on its way back to me.
I think Bella from goldshell does a super good job and is quick to answer my questions which I have had many of.
Should you be lucky enough to get in touch with Bella about your guarantee then you are in good hands.
Huge thanks to Bella and goldshell for handling my warranty case like a pro!

It is a good company in terms of the products it handles, however the shipment takes too long to arrive and the customer service needs to improve to give a satisfactory experience to the customer.

Have a friend in hong kong take pics for me . The miners I have work good but if they brake just throw them away No customer service no repair. take forever for customer support to respond and then they just lie

Ordered a KD Box, have yet to receive any traking info from Gldshell. Am worried will not receive my miner since they keep releasing" batches of just a few miners at a time. 2minutes after announcement i arrive on site to order and OUT OF Stock, Not very reliable source if thats the game they are playing
Goldshell is a great company
I have purchased many, many items from this site. Yes, it was easier in the past, before the popularity increased, but that’s a byproduct of great quality items for sale.
They always ship as expected, and have been very helpful from the beginning.
Customer support total disappointment
Support takes forever to respond (if at all) and doesn't really address the concern.

I have bought from them for 3 times and i have received the products without problem. They are legit but beware of fraudulent sites, there are many scammers out there with similar pages
Trustpilot have removed my negative…
Trustpilot have removed my negative feedback about this scam company 4 times now. They claim their software picks up my feedback as not genuine..... I claim that Trustpilot receives payment for negative comments they remove!
Avoid purchasing from this company...... I purchased a Goldshell Doge Miner in July and it arrived in an unusable condition.
After sending hundreds of emails to both Goldshell and Asicmarketplace with both companies refusing to accept responsibility, I am left with a useless expensive aluminium box and $1,200 USD out of pocket.
Companies in China do not operate to the same professional standard as the rest of the world so I would advise anyone to avoid these companies and only purchase from European or American Companies where a warranty is honoured and any faulty item is exchanged.
I removed my original negative feedback from here under the illusion that this problem was going to be resolved...... dishonesty knows no bounds with these companies!
Beware of these scammers.
Beware of these scammers.
I took delivery of a Goldshell Miner from these clowns and it does not work.
They are not interested in the warranty they give.
They are only interested in taking your money.
Buyers beware!
Scammers.....
Scammers...... I bought the Doge Miner and it does not work...... Hundreds of emails sent.
These people do no know the definition of the word WARRANTY ...... Beware and avoid these scammers
I received my MiniDoge Miner in…
I received my MiniDoge Miner in impeccable condition! The timing for delivery was even quicker than I had anticipated and the miner worked perfectly as described right out of the box. I admit i was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews about some people having a bad experience. My thought is that it's possible some accounts may have been created for the purpose of spreading "FUD" to potential customer by their competition. Honestly, I've had far worse experiences in the majority of my miner purchases online, and Goldshell is at the top of my list of surprisingly pleasant purchases. My only gripe is I didn't get one of the units with the cool "Doge in space" themed decals, which would have been a plus, but overall, this obviously doesn't effect the miners ability to do what it's purposed for; Mining. It would have been a nice plus though, rather than just the plain metal looking box, but it is what it is. I would recommend Goldshell to a friend and look forward to seeing what they come out with next. Also, my advice is to subscribe to their mailing list so that way you get the scoop early when they do have a new drop in stock, as they are growing to become extremely popular and can go out of stock within 24 hours, regardless what the Goldshell website might claim as you may, or may not have already experienced. Thanks Goldshell for delivering what you promised. Your thankful customer Jared D Flores.
