The worst shop ever

The worst shop ever, avoid in all cost. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes, one arrived faulty, for 10 days I'm trying to get a pre-paid label to return it to US and get a full refund. They suggested 30-40-50% for shoes I have no use at all as the are badly damaged. Customer service is just ignoring messages about their own policy that they have to pay for return if item is faulty. I had to open case with my bank to reverse the transaction as the company is just total fraud.

Fake Hoka Bondi 9 – Do Not Buy from This Seller!

I ordered Hoka Bondi 9 in size 38 and instantly spotted problems. The shoes arrived via a courier from China despite the website looking like a local retailer. The box was bashed and the trainers were far too small, more like a size 37, even though I had tried the genuine version on in-store before ordering. Inside was a white card with Chinese writing, something you will never see in authentic Hokas bought from authorised stockists. The quality felt cheap, the fit was wrong, and the overall finish was poor. When I compared them side by side with an official pair in an authorised store, the differences were glaring.

I contacted the company several times to request a refund. Eventually, they replied to say my “order is on its way” and that they would send tracking shortly — despite the fact I had already received (and complained about) the shoes. This is clearly a stalling tactic.

This was a “too good to be true” deal — and it was. I will be contacting American Express for a refund. Do not buy here; you will receive fake goods

Ordered a pair of Hoka Bondi trainers…

Ordered a pair of Hoka Bondi trainers which were too large. The company has an English address and the order took quite some time to arrive. There was no return label which is extraordinary for a mail order company. I tried to call them several times but there is no reply. I explained by e mail the shoe must be a smaller size than normal so I need to order a larger pair. I was told to keep them and they would give me a 30 percent refund? I reiterated that if they are too small, why would I keep them - I simply wanted a larger size and could they send me a returns slip. They then offered me a 40 percent refund. I again said I cannot keep the shoes. They advised I need to send it to America and then a refund would take place. I don't believe they have a presence in the UK, I think its just a purchased shell company as all the correspondence takes place in US time and the phone is never answered. I also don't believe I will receive a refund. I am also contacting Amex.

Shoes not real, have to pay return shipping to usa myself

The shoes are not real. They arrived in a very battered box.

I didn't even receive a confirmation of purchase email or receipt. They are being very difficult and saying if I want to return I have to pay for shipping to US (I live in UK). If anyone has successfully returned from UK can you please advise how that went?

Fake products. Do not order from this site

I had ordered a pair of Asics Novablast which took a few weeks to arrive. Due to the delivery taking so long I searched this company and came across the trust pilot reviews. I requested to cancel my order and requested a full refund. I was told this wasn’t possible as they were in transit and assured me they were a genuine product. Trainers arrived on 6th August and as thought they were a counterfeit item. The soles are rock hard, not suitable for running. The glue on the sides is visible and pure stitching. I requested a full refund as per their policy on the website but was offered a 30% refund to keep the item and avoid paying return costs to the USA. No where on the refund policy does it state items have to be returned to the US. They are a scam website, selling fake items with shocking customer service. Avoid at all costs. I also posted a review on their web page but I doubt that it will get approved for posting.

Fake Hoka Bondi 9 trainers

I cannot believe how many people are reporting counterfeit trainers. Mine arrived today Hoka Bondi 9 size 7.5

I tried to cancel the order but was told it was too late. I bought some originals in Hoka retail shop. The differences are glaring. I’d already alerted American Express and will now commence the refund process. I will also notify my local Trading Standards.

FAKE COMPANY

This is a fake company trading in China selling counterfeit goods. I ordered new balance trainers and they arrived poorly packaged, trainers were poorly made and 3 times too small even though I ordered the correct size. Informed my bank straight away. The email address is not accessible even though they advertise it as a way to start a return. Honestly so disappointing and disgusted they are getting away with it!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY!

Not genuine ASICS – caution advised!

I ordered a pair of ASICS trainers from this seller and was very disappointed with what I received. The shoes I got showed multiple signs of not being genuine — poor quality, incorrect branding, and details that don’t match authentic ASICS products I’ve purchased before.

I’ve requested a full refund and made the seller aware that I will escalate through my bank (AMEX) if needed. I also plan to contact ASICS directly to help them investigate the source of these trainers.

Please exercise caution before ordering from them.

FAKE GOODS DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.

FAKE GOODS DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.
As others have stated I wish I knew about this website before I ordered. I'm going through the communication process being offered 30%, 40%, 50% partial refunds and being told to send back to the US as per their policies. I've started a charge back with my credit card company and will also be reporting to trading standards.

Not as advertised

I ordered what was advertised as genuine Asics Novablast 5 trainers from Golfado on 27 July 2025. After over a week with no tracking or shipping confirmation, I contacted them to request a refund. Only after I emailed did a tracking number suddenly appear, and the shoes arrived shortly after.

When they arrived, it was immediately clear they were not genuine Asics, the design, branding, quality, and packaging did not match authentic products. The box and tags were generic, and there were obvious quality flaws.

I contacted Golfado again, referencing their own Returns & Refunds Policy which says they refund items that are “not as described,” but so far not offered any resolution.

I am now escalating this through my bank and reporting the matter to consumer protection services. Based on my experience and many similar reviews online, I would strongly advise avoiding this company.

Further on from my last 1 star review…

Further on from my last 1 star review where Goflado have publicly replied on this platform offering resolve.

I was still unable to get my money back from them.

Their solutions ranged from asking me to pay for shipping to the USA. To offering me a 30% partial refund on the counterfeit goods they sold me.

If anyone is in this position, the easiest way to get a refund is to raise a fraud complaint with your bank.

This is honestly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

DO NOT ORDER FROM GOLFADO!

DO NOT ORDER FROM GOLFADO!

I ordered a pair of size 8 women’s ASICS Novablast 5 for my partner as I have the same trainers (sourced from ASICS themselves) and really liked them.

I ordered from Golfado and when the trainers arrived they were size 7.5 men’s. The labels were in Chinese and the quality is not the same as my official ones. I contacted Golfado to arrange a return as their returns policy on their website states “ If the product is , incorrect, not as described, or lost in transit, we will cover the return shipping cost and provide you a shipping label.“ they offered 30% off, then 40% off, then 50% off and are
Refusing to send a shipping label for the return and insisting I send them to the US before I can get a full refund.

I have contacted ASICS who have told me they are not official stockists and the trainers are indeed fake.

I’m in talks with trading standards and my credit card to get a full refund! This is clearly a scam!

Hi, We take accusations like this very seriously. It is absolutely impossible that our warehouse sent flower stickers instead of golf balls — this has never happened in any verified order.

It’s possible that you may have confused us with another store, as this situation does not align with any order in our system. To investigate properly, please contact us at contact@golfado.com with your order ID and full name so we can verify your purchase and assist you directly.

We are fully transparent and committed to resolving any genuine issues.

Scam

Scam. Item not received (and going by reviews it looks like it would have been a fake anyway) customer service is nothing but a generic bot, number doesn't work. Contacting my bank and reporting to all consumer and fraud agencies.

Edit: item received and it's totally fake. They couldn't even get the label on the box (or the box) right. I am an experienced marathon runner and have run in the very shoe I ordered for years. Nothing about what I received was made by ASICS. The stink of cheap plastic you get when you step into Payless shoes stores hits you through moment you open the box. None of the labels are right, the size isn't right, and the foam is just ludicrous to even try to pass off as ASICS.
I am reporting to trading standards as obviously this company needs to be taken down as quickly as possible. And ps: there is no such thing as a refurbished sneaker!!
