Disappointed
As a first time customer, I am disappointed.
My order was a simple order with three items. Unfortunately only 2 of the 3 items delivered were correct. The third item was the wrong item. While now I did receive the correct replacement, and the shipping label to ship back the incorrect item, there was no apology in the e-mail response. There was also no refund for the shipping charges I paid, nor for my time and hassle to pack the wrong item that was delivered, then drive and take it to a FedEx office so it can be returned to Gongs Unlimited. This experience makes me question the product as the experience of receiving the product had no check, no quality, and no customer support. The fee I was charged for shipping should be refunded in order to leave a positive experience, especially for first time customers. A coupon or future discount is useless as this experience needs to be remedied.

hello csilla- thanks for letting us know that you were slightly perturbed about how you perceived our customer service. i reviewed the emails we sent and perhaps our service rep did not apologize in a grandiloquent manner that would befit a Director of Regulatory Affairs, as you are, but she was more focused on getting the correct item out to you. Please note- if specifics are of a concern to you - you referred to a Pyramid as a Triangle, and, I noticed your Linkedin profile has your title misspelled as "Director Regulatory Affaris". So I think we call can accept that none of us are perfect, not even you. We worked to fix the mishap of the incorrect item shipped to you ASAP, which we did and could be read as inclusive of an apology (us saying "our bad!") given the speed at which we did it, as well as our immediate admission of our error and responsibility for it as well. Rather than our rep typing up more words, she fixed it. Actions can speak louder than words. We of course did not charge you extra shipping for the replacement item. The original shipping you paid would have cost the same with the correct item in it, so your request for a refund for shipping - and in the tone you state it - seems more like a demand, an imperious idea you came up with versus something that would compensate you for the pain it took you to get to Fedex Office. Especially as all the items arrived to you. Please note - We do respect the extra time you had to take to go to Fedex Ground and we are grateful for you doing that and often a demonstrative apology of great size for whatever time it took. The shipping cost you paid was 57 dollars approximately. We will credit you back 27 USD as a gesture of goodwill for that time. I hope your misunderstanding of how we remedied our mistake and the care we take with our items and customer care can somehow turn into wisdom and compassion on this spinning Blue Pearl that we are all on. Bless you, my friend.

What a wonderful experience in excellent customer service and speedy delivery. Knowing there are no guarantees, Andrew was very responsive to my emails as I attempted to purchase a Cheung sister is gone from Gongs Unlimited in time for a large Soundbath event. Andrew was very helpful in making trade place at the right order and provide me some context to have a delivery process would happen. The products arrived half a day earlier than expected and the products are absolutely beautiful. The stand we purchased is a little less stable than I had hoped but were modifying it with Yoga sandbags at the base. Overall a five star experience and five star products.

Gongs Unlimited is the place to go if you're looking for gongs and accessories- plus they have the best customer service of just about any company I have ever encountered. I have bought several gongs and gongstands from them over the past few years. Whenever I have needed help they have responded right away. Not only are they accessible, helpful and informative, they are FUN! They are real human beings who you can actually talk to on the phone- if you're lucky they might even sing to you! Can't recommend them enough.
