I really expected better
I really expected better. The sound is quite good but not exceptional, because the crash is quite coarse. This gong is not very versatile. As for the aesthetics, the design is not engraved at all, just sandblasted on the surface, so that the Sri Yantra appears quite little, depending on the light.
I do not regret my purchase, but if I could have tried it before I would not have bought it. It is a mid-range model, not a masterpiece. Finally, you could still offer the mallet... ;)

Please note on April 24th, we explained in an email after you asked about the color of the design on the gong "it is etched into the gong, sandblasted, so the color you see in the design is IN the surface of gong now, embedded". - I am sorry you are surprised about this, as we discussed before your purchase. Quel Dommage that you forgot! N'est ce pas? We do not know what you mean by mid-range, etc what is high range? Also, this is more a product review versus a review of our service, which I think was pretty good, not bad, plutôt bien, pas mal - 6 or 7 emails before you purchased. we made changes to invoice before you purchased, we were truthful along the way, I think our service was pretty good. Great first experience shopping at Gongs Unlimited! I purchased chimes, and they were shipped in super safe packing, and I was so impressed with the fast shipping speed (although shipping speed isn't nearly as important as quality of product and knowledge and friendliness employees!). Definitely using Gongs Unlimited for all my Gong needs.

The gong stand didn't come with any…
The gong stand didn't come with any instruction but I was expected to watch YouTube without any notice to do so.
The gong I purchased was small enought to hold in hand but the stand I purchased with wasn't meant to ditatch once I assemble the gong. The discription of the gong stand was really poor and didn't mention about it.
The 2 items didn't arrive on the same day and the shipping notification gave me a completely wrong date. Even I have received a package, notification said it was on the way and scheduled to deliver the next day. I thought a wrong item was delivered and called the company several times but nobody answered for 2 days. The gong itself wasn't bad but overall the experience wasn't any pleasent.

Hello Kaori: We are sorry you had an unpleasant experience. I believe you called in a week thanks to it being Memorial Day, we were short -staffed. However, I did review all the calls from Thursday and Friday and I do not see any messages left. We will certainly respond asap to messages, and often when people leave a message, we send an email with lots of instructions as well. Maybe you did leave a message, but I do not see any. Messages are important for a small business that is juggling many things and cannot always answer the phone when it rings.
Regarding the shipping notification, Fedex can have its issues these days, in the wake of Covid, where so many more people are purchasing online. Two-box shipments can get split up, especially in the West Coast and Hawaii region as they have so much more happening now and not enough support yet. You are not the first to have their two boxes arrive on separate days, nor will you be the last. Regarding the gong stand, usually people see the video on the page, but if they leave a message we send them the link. Thank you for your note about the gong stand, usually when people purchase this, they purchase as a combo for decor in their home or office, and its more clear what it is about, I see you purchased gong and stand separately and may not have known this. I will have my website person make sure it is more clear about that is not a good stand to take things on and off. Thank you for your notes.
