Horrible customer service over the phone and online. Kind and smiling until they sell you the stuff. Dont trust, stay away.
The most disgusting professional…
The most disgusting professional Northlake Good guys. I was supposed to get my dishwasher delivery today and have not been. When I called manager said they don’t have stock and they have asked Carseldine store to do so. She was absolutely unprofessional manager I have ever seen
I was transferred to Carseldine store and they said the Northlake have asked us to deliver on 19th March
This shows that managers are lying to customer to get there sales and not talking properly to customers rather threatening to hang the phone.
Also this shows the manager was a pure lier.
I have booked technician to install tomorrow and who will pay the call out fees.
Need urgent call from the good guys.

Terrible
Bought a phone online for elderly father, included delivery within 1.5 hours. Item wasn't available at the first store, apparently available at the second... four hours and four phone calls later, the item still hasn't been picked for delivery.
In the last call, I was told my order had been reallocated to the original store (the one which apparently didn't have the item in stock) but that it'd be on its way in no time.
Don't waste your time or effort.
Very happy get looked after every time…
Very happy get looked after every time I walk in better then there competition retailer’s I done a lot business with them happy with products and services don’t buy cheap nasty products you save ya self the dramas
The Good Guys online web service is horrendous
Do not purchase from the online service ! I purchased an Apple Watch online and they said it would be shipped the next day. And nothing. And then i contacted customer service and they said it would leave the store that day, and still nothing. I have now had to follow up with them everyday!!!!! 3 days in a row already!
AVOID GOOD GUYS
Purchased a Haier heat pump dryer through Good Guys at Tempe and purchased their "gold" service. Dryer broke within a couple of months. Have been trying to get it fixed/replaced and now refunded for 3 months. We're told by Phil the store manager that someone is coming to pick it up, no one shows, they are going to call back, no one calls. They won't even get back to Fair Trading.
This has been the absolute worst service I have ever received. We are now reporting the business to the ACCC as they have an legal obligation to fix faulty products within a reasonable time frame and they are refusing to do it.
Contacted The Good Guys Commercial via…
Contacted The Good Guys Commercial via their online form (they cite a 2 working day turnaround on replies). They never replied.
The worst company in Australia to deal with.
Dealing with the Good Guys is so painful that it's hard to describe.
After waiting 2 months for a product to be delivered I asked for a store credit (not even a refund).
Weeks went by with no response via email.
I used their online chat with is essentially a bot that tries to push you back to their email system.
I eventually got through to the queue to speak to a human.
I was told the wait time was 30 minutes.
After 1 hour and 20 minutes, I was pushed back to the bot.
I then called them.
I wanted 1 hour and 30 minutes to speak to someone.
They told me they'd send out a credit voucher within 48 hours.
That was a week ago.
You can't make this stuff up.
This company will be out of business within the next 5 years as with companies Amazon around who make this stuff so easy, people will not stand for this appalling service.
Terrible service and no product although I have been charged.
Purchased an air conditioner and fan online, specifically chose product that was in stock and agreed next day delivery, and delivery was booked and received SMS saying it was on its way. Product did not arrive. I have had to follow up 3 times and every time I have been given a different story as to when or if I will receive it. When I tried to cancel, I was told I would have to cancel after it arrives as its not possible to cancel order in the system but also not possible to tell me when or how I might receive it.
I now have no air con, and I am more than $1000 out of pocket. I will go to Fair Trading if it doesn't arrive soon.
NEVER EVER buy from Good Guys online
NEVER EVER buy from Good Guys online – their systems are broken. I bought and paid for an expensive vacuum cleaner from Good Guys, and it hasn't arrived 10 days later. Ironically I paid extra for shipping, but the freight company Team Global Express is hopeless; the tracking system constantly says "in transit", you CANNOT contact them by phone, and their "virtual assistant" chatbot times out after waiting half an hour! When I called Good Guys, a recorded message said the wait time was over 2 hours!! I waited on their "virtual assistant" for an hour, constantly ticking "yes" I am still here, and then it timed out and returned to the start!! How can a company be allowed to get away this? They don't deserve to be in business.
I booked an A/C installation…
I booked an A/C installation consultation which cost me $89! They promised to contact me within 10 business days. I waited 20 days and no one contacted me. I sent numerous emails and calls to their department and no one could resolve the issue. I gave one star because I can't give a negative. This was a terrible experience and I will never use any of their services again in my life. Also their A/C service company Rod-fisher electronic is terrible, don't trust the google reviews!!!
Regret choosing The Good Guys
While the online ordering process is straightforward, the customer service is appalling. They promise 1-hour Click and Collect, but I ended up chasing my order for days. Despite multiple calls and online chats, I was repeatedly assured the issue was resolved—it wasn’t. I had to insist on staying online with customer service to ensure the matter was addressed, but even then, they kept suggesting I 'call back' while resolving only parts of the problem.
When the issue was finally sorted, I had to travel 120 km each way to collect the air conditioners and return home—far from the convenience advertised. The lack of consistent communication was incredibly frustrating.
On top of that, their system randomly added a $144 charge for dryer removal, even though I had only ordered air conditioners for pick-up. Getting them to refund this charge has been a struggle. While a refund has been promised, I’m still waiting for it to be processed.
Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
Awful Service and Delivery
Awful Service, Buyer Beware!I had an extremely disappointing experience with The Good Guys. Sales person Inas Moussa was quickly to sell me appliances, installation services and even GOLD warranty. After purchasing appliances, they took my money but failed to deliver the products—even after more than a week of waiting and no communication. Their customer help center is completely useless; they make empty promises but offer no real solutions.
It’s clear that their priority is taking your money. The sales line rings and gets picked up quickly, but if you call for support, you’ll be left hanging until the call automatically disconnects. This lack of after-sales service is appalling.
I’ve noticed many other reviews echoing the same issues about their poor delivery and tracking. It’s a pattern. BUYER BEWARE: Once they have your money, don’t expect any reliable service or communication.
Delivery of goods
Well first off my new fridge and air con was supposed to be delivered Friday 29th I took day off work then sat 30th rang them at 245pm Saturday more excuses not to mention getting tracking sms at 140am Saturday morning we tracked our goods until there was 13 deliveries before us mind you we only live 5 kms from there store at prospect so now no FRIDGE until Tuesday in store service was great that’s where it ended outsourcing deliveries to people who don’t care
This is the worst store I have ever…
This is the worst store I have ever dealt with. They canceled my washing machine delivery three times without any notice. They simply marked the status as 'out for delivery' and never showed up, acting as if nothing happened. I wasted three of my working days waiting for a delivery that never came. I am frustrated and extremely angry.
Long delays and incorrect information
I ordered a vacuum in June. I called the store beforehand to confirm availability, I paid online. I heard back only in October - stating that the vacuum is unavailable and I need to select a different item.
The bad guys
I know it’s my mistake that I didn’t ask for fridge instillation when I bought my fridge from your online store. but I rang and ask to pay for instillation so you can send some body to do it , they start to defer my call form one to another 5 times and I end with nothing, I still have my brand new fridge which it cost me 3000 $ and I can’t fully use it .
Long delay experienced with so called…
Long delay experienced with so called premium delivery service of $85.00. Said they would deliver a bar fridge between 8.00am and 11.00pm, but did not get it until after 2.00pm. This is not premium service.
Bad experience
Bad experience. Never got my product, never got any notification, I've been without a fridge for weeks.
I had to reach out and just got empty responses.
Do not buy from them if you need important appliances.
Bad Customer Service
I purchased an item on Saturday (the instore pressure to help - clearly driven by comms incentives was too much) and came home to an item missing. Called the store multiple times. Got through once and then put through to someone else where it rang out. Called again yesterday, spoke to someone who has asked me to come back in store. The closest store is a decent drive so I asked for the missing item to be sent. They said they would call me back and have not. I expect they won't call back based on previous service (I believe they were saying they would so I would have to follow up and it be someone elses problem).
