Not sure if it was gluten free
I can’t prove it but I think it might have had gluten in. Terrible symptoms after eating it. To be fair food tasted good but can’t think of any other gluten source. I can’t see that they are accredited by coeliac society?
So so bad
So so bad. Possibly the worst gluten free food I've ever had.
Mouldy food.
Bought one of the wrap kits from morrisons. And the wraps were all full of green mold. Clearly some hygiene issues in the factory! Wasted a full night's dinner.
I WOULD RATE IT -5 IF I COULD! AVOID
I WOULD RATE IT -5 IF I COULD! The food was awful and made my family feel sick! The customer service was as good as the food, that is saying something! Avoid this company at all cost
Awful product, terrible customer service
I don't understand how this can have more than one star.
This isn't food, I'm really wondering what they are putting inside these kits because it's gross, really.
I feel scammed for buying a pack of each to support a gluten-free company, I mean, how can someone create something this awful and not have family or friend tell them that it's just disgusting?
I'll have to toss the other packs, I cannot even try. It's incredible.
Gosh... This is awful!
Gosh... I've been celiac for almost a decade so it's fair to say I must have tried almost all of the products that are gluten free.
This is by far the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten my whole life. The consistency is gross but the taste is even more terrible.
I don't understand how a product like this can be legally sold, seriously it's just too awful.
Awful food
Recommend you avoid ordering from this company. We were so excited to find coeliac friendly Chinese takeaway options, however we ended up being sorely disappointed. We spent over £50 so our family could try a bit of everything. Also, delivery charges were ridiculous but we went along with it in the hope it would be worth it. It was not.
On arrival, we found one of tubs had been smashed within the box, resulting in pieces of sharp plastic in the dish and sauce all over the other products. Had to throw that one away.
The food was absolutely awful, the chicken in black bean sauce in particular had a foul smell and taste. The other dishes were pretty inedible as well. We picked at what we could and then gave up. Now sitting here with sore stomachs and feeling a bit nauseous. You will find better quality gluten free options in the microwave meal section of your local shop. Don't waste your money.
All good
All good, well packed with ice blocks and a reuseable insulated sleeve. I am impressed with the quality and the general ethos of the company, it is good to have a wider range of products to choose from, I usually cook from scratch being gluten free but this is good as it gives me a night off occasionally. Try it for yourself.
We tried the Chinese menu and it was disgusting
We tried the Chinese menu and it was all disgusting. The noodles were chewy and not a nice taste. The sweet & sour chicken chunks were like rubber and the sauce was well 'Just Yuck!.
Even the Egg Fried Rice was terrible.
All the food ended up in a waste bag and thrown in the local bin
Wont be shopping here again

I was impressed with the quality of the kit and how easy it was to prepare. The sauces are very flavorful and have. Good balance of spice and flavor. My family loved the Katsu Curry!
Satisfied customers would recommend
Very happy with the delivery and how it was well packed. We had the fish and chips one day and the boneless feast another day, all delicious, easy to heat up in the oven, good portion sizes too.
Read mixed reviews but have to say I'm impressed so far!
Having read some reviews, I was sceptical.. I have only had two of my dishes - chow mein and lemon chicken with fried rice. Although I had to add a little soy sauce to chow mein.. it was really lovely good quality food. Best I've had since diagnosis.. Will definitely buy again.. Have a nice selection of food to go through..
Delivery was great - DPD on picked day - each dish came wrapped in bubble wrap, with ice packs in a cool pack (which I can reuse) , buried in polystyrene with label saying must be delivered today - food items. Still icy cold! Very impressed!
As long as the rest is good - I'll be back. Had a speedy response to facebook messenger and email messages.
Not so good, not so gluten free!
I was very excited about the delivery as I’ve really been missing Chinese food, treated myself to enchilada pizza (so good to have different toppings) and fish and chips too. I couldn’t fault the delivery, arrived when DPD said it would on my chosen day, well packaged and cold with plenty of ice packs.
I put most of mine in the freezer as I had other plans for food that weekend, tried the sweet and sour chicken balls and chow menu the next Friday (defrosted well first). The chicken was just a bit dry and I didn’t feel there was enough sauce provided, the chow mein had the usual gluten free noodles problem that they break up after microwaving but I don’t blame them for that.
I couldn’t eat the prawn crackers as there were no storage instructions or indication of the shelf life so they went soggy/chewy/greasy which made them inedible.
My main complaint however is about the enchilada pizza, I defrosted, cooked according to instructions and ate it the next day, and I had a reaction like I had eaten gluten! Obviously, I can’t prove that but I’m a very strict Coeliac and I haven’t been poisoned in a long time. I know my body and the stomach pains 15-20mins after eating were definitely a reaction to eating gluten. I then had cramps and bloating all night followed by other usual reactions, that I won’t go into.
I was extremely disappointed as the company literally has gluten free in its name, the label had no gluten containing ingredients and clearly stated gluten free.
I didn’t eat anything else other than the pizza for my evening meal, and my house is gluten free as I live alone.
Be careful Coeliacs, it’s not as gluten free as it makes out!
An absolute treat
We had a Chinese meal, including aromatic duck which is a dish I hadn’t tasted in over 30 years and this didn’t disappoint. Absolutely delicious. The standard of meat throughout, including the sweet and sour chicken, was exceptional.
From delivery, to care of packaging and value for money, the whole experience blew me away.
An absolute treat!
Great meals
Great meals, really enjoyed Chinese chicken curry and the cod and chips. Unfortunately wasn't keen on the veggie pizza. Got the chicken and chips left to eat. Would definitely buy other products.
Don’t think I’ll order again
Battered sausages - good
Curry sauce - good but runny
Bbq chicken pizza (standard) - nice flavour bbq sauce but otherwise awful, crust horrible & no cheese
Chinese meals - taste nothing like Chinese take out.
Very disappointed honestly

Good proactive customer service
Fab food and the customer service was excellent. There was an issue with DPD holding my order for 5 days (to Northern Ireland) but the company was proactive and contacted me with instructions to destroy the original order and a replacement was being issued. The replacement came much quicker and in good condition. My only desire would be that I would ask for a few more cool packs just for peace of mind. All being said it was a positive experience and once NI shipping issues (a widespread problem not just with this company) have been fixed I will order again because the food is super tasty!

I've ordered many dishes from these guys, so far I've tried the veggie pizza and cheesy garlic dough balls which were very yummy!!!!!! I REALLY can't wait to try the Chinese meals later on this week, Im really craving a gluten free Chinese meal!
So glad I gave them a 2nd chance - what a difference - fab!!
Firstly I wanted to start by saying what a completely different experience this has been compared to my first and only other order which was in the week leading up to Christmas which was a disaster.
However, I got an email offering a "give us a 2nd chance" discount so decided to try again as the idea of getting gluten free takeaway food delivered was a great one.
My order this time arrived exactly on time and was perfectly fulfilled. I had been desperate to try the pizza and it was missing the first time which was hugely disappointing. Having tried it this time, I enjoyed it more than I can say. I ordered a good few Chinese meals which were all delicious. My husband usually gets a Chinese at the weekend from our local takeaway, and I have to make do with something else or I try and make something myself, which defeats the purpose of a weekend 'treat'. When I had the Beef & Black Bean it was the first time ever that I have looked at my meal and my husband's and felt I had the better option!!! Mine usually looks like a poor substitute - not this time!
Tonight I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken - quite honestly the best sweet and sour I have ever had!!
I will definitely be ordering again.
I am so glad I gave another chance - it was all fabulous. I have just placed another today for the weekend. I'm sure I will be a very regular customer now!
Had to bin half of it on arrival
Unlike others my food actually did turn up (albeit late) but it was terribly packed in a huge box with one tiny ice pack, the food was warm, not ideal when ordering chicken or fish which were in my order. There were no cooking instructions and where I ordered a selection box, nothing was labeled - I couldn’t actually tell what was what and had to guess how to cook it all 😂 it was a nightmare. Half my order I did bin like the fish etc because I just didn’t trust it and luckily I didn’t actually get sick from eating the other half but it was average at best and not worth the risk I took to eat it. Plus tiny tiny portions. Honestly don’t bother with this company. Stick to Jackson’s and Wheat Free Bakery.
