Horrific customer service
Their customer service is next to non-existent. I ordered on 25th November and ordered delivery in advance for 18th December. On 17th December I received a despatch email saying I'd get a one hour timeslot the next morning - great! I was really looking forward to all the gluten free foods I hadn't been able to enjoy for years since my coeliac diagnosis. When that timeslot didn't arrive, I tracked my parcel to find out that it hadn't been sent to the courier. I emailed Good, who admitted it hadn't been despatched. They clearly knew this, but hadn't bothered to let me know in advance which would have been courteous. They promised me it would be with me the next day. Guess what? On the Saturday, the courier still hadn't received the parcel. "It'll be with you Sunday". Who wants a fresh food delivery that's been hanging around in a box for a few days? No thanks. So I contacted their owner, Andrew, via Instagram. He arranged for another to be despatched on Sunday for delivery on Monday. In the meantime customer services emailed to say my order would arrive "sometime in the next few days". Clearly no communication going on in their office. I explained I'd spoken to Andrew, and they said they could see that, and it would be with me on Tuesday. I said he'd promised Monday, "oh yes sorry, it'll be Monday". When I got the despatch email on Monday though, I knew that to be a lie. On Tuesday I finally received a timeslot - woohoo! However no such luck, as the courier didn't even bother to come to my village - I watched him on the live tracking and he drove straight past the turning to my area and straight back to the depot. The courier were rude and just said to ask for another to be despatched. By this time I'd lost the will, and even if another was despatched I wouldn't get it in time for Christmas let alone when I actually needed it for (last Friday!). Andrew promised me a full refund a few days ago but that hasn't happened yet - it's PayPal so should be immediate. So I have no food, no refund, and I have had to go out 3 times to get emergency food in the last few days, in the busiest pre-Christmas time when really I'd rather be avoiding other people in a pandemic, in a rural area with no supermarkets for 20 mins+ drive and a lack of gluten free due to no demand. Great.
If Good want their business to be successful, they need to take less orders so they can cope with each day's despatches, and contact customers in advance if they know there's a problem (a simple white lie like 'sorry, the courier forgot one of the pallets when collecting' would do, it's certainly better than no communication at all). Speaking to each other/keeping records of communication with customers so they're all giving the same information when they actually do speak to you would also be a good start.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE/COMPANY
I have ordered 3 times from this company. The first time my order just didnt turn up. DPD were blamed. I did receive it a week later! I ordered again for delivery 2 Saturdays ago. Nothing turned up. This time the packaging company was blamed. So the owner called me (good for him) and persuaded me to remove my social media negative feedback and give them one more chance and have my meal delivered on Saturday just gone. Guess what, it didnt arrive. DPD were blamed again but you can't kid a kidder! I use DPD for all my business packages so I asked for the tracking number. A lable was very quickly produced and upon tracking it said "DPD dont have my parcel" this was on Saturday evening. I was told to call them on Monday for a refund. I emailed the owner, I have emailed admin, I have messaged via Facebook I have emailed the owner again today and no response and no refund! I have raised a Paypal dispute now which I know will come back in my favour but to be honest, I could do without having to think about this anymore. DO NOT USE THEM!! YOU WILL BE LIED TO, FOBBED OFF AND YOU WILL BE LUCKY TO RECIEVE YOUR ORDER!

Very Good!! Sceptical with reading some reviews but so glad we tried it for ourselves, had a Chinese banquet. Long time since we've been able to enjoy a Chinese at home! Unfortunate to order at a difficult time for this company but communication very good and got our delivery .. third time lucky!! Will definitely order again, keep up the Good work.

I am extremely disappointed. I ordered the fry’d chicken box and the chilli beef meal last month. When it arrived the chilli beef meal was missing and nothing was labelled so had no idea what anything was, no best before dates and no cooking instructions.
I contacted them about my missing meal and they sent that out the following week. I come to cook the chicken and see I’ve been given cheese that looked like normal cheese (I asked for a dairy free box) and a tub of garlic butter. I questioned this in a message to the company and was told it would be checked and they will get back to me. Hours later after chasing them up I was told not to eat the cheese or butter as it was likely to contain dairy and was packed wrong. How dangerous as I have a milk allergy!!!!
I was given an apology, promised a full refund and told he’d have a staff meeting and send me an email to tell me what was said. I’ve never received an email to this day about it. The chicken was incredibly salty and practically inedible. We struggled to eat what we did. The chilli beef comes with this horribly thick sauce that tastes nothing like any chilli beef I’ve ever tasted.
One week later I get delivered another chilli beef box after the replacement had already been delivered and when I emailed they said there must have been a mix up and to enjoy my meals. Fine I thought but I’m still missing the refund. I was then told it was issued that day. It’s been over 3 weeks and still no refund. They are now ignoring my emails and messages on messenger. Not a happy customer! Do not recommend.
EDIT: I finally received my refund after 3 weeks and constantly chasing them up. I was given free food on top of this and the food was nice, however, still no labels on any of the food. I didn’t know what the sauces were in the Chinese meal so had to guess. No cooking instructions again so I had to guess that too. I still would not recommend because of this. I was also given £10 credit in the app so used it and been waiting for the food for almost 2 weeks with promises it would arrive 2 date ago but still no delivery. Do not waste your money on this company. I will be reporting them for their packaging and labelling!
Horrendous company AVOID!!!!
Food arrived in a damp box, ripped open with no protection or insulation. Raw meat and fish with no date on so no idea how old it was. No menu cards, no sauces supplied at all. Not enough ingredients for the meals I had to buy my own. Customer service is full of false promises and lies, eventually I got a refund but I would NEVER EVER order from them again.
Good Is Not So Good.
Really disappointing my advice is to to save yourself a whole lot of stress and avoid buying anything from good. This is our third day waiting in for a delivery first it was delayed because the order contained a Christmas item second time boxes where faulty and they promised it would definitely be delivered this morning 5th December. Good are not answering messages and we have had no notice of delivery for this morning (11.10am).

I ordered the Chinese takeaway and cheesecake albeit a free fish and chips was part of the deal. The order arrived on my day of choosing and it was rather delicious, I have missed prawn crackers and egg fried rice especially so this was quite a treat, I will try the other takeaways very soon.

Husband said how he misses having Chinese as I can't eat it being intolerant... Well, when I stumbled across Good I couldn't believe they had Chinese along with a umber of other items! I ordered for a Friday so we could have a 'takeaway' and Friday it promptly turned up with DPD, well wrapped and kept nice and cold. the tems were super fresh looking and all nicely bundled into our fridge.. we came to cooking and yes, I didn't have instructions but ... After speaking with Andrew (thank you!!) And also realising they are on the website in the pics for each meal) we cooked away and it was lovely, I haven't had a nice fresh meal like that in years!! I can't wait to try my Fish and chips and my cheese garlic bread (not at the same time tho haha)!! Thank you all for a great business... The market was certainly missing this and I can't wait to see you grow and see what else you will bring out for us to enjoy!!

I saw this company through the Coeliac magazine i have been a very sensitive Coeliac for over 40yrs and have had to be very careful as to what i eat and have always gone by the saying ( if in doubt leave out ) and have grown up with the Coeliac society now Coeliac UK and trust them to vet all there advertisers the latest mag had a advert from good its gluten free and the meals looked great for me as we are in ( lockdown ) and the no waste sounded ok so i ordered a mix box for approx £20+ p&p the meals eventually arrived a bit tatty cardboard box with a plastic bag with the meals and a cool bag inside wrapped in a wool blanket ?. So far so good when i took the meals out they were all in separate poly bags and sauce was in plastic dishes with lids the bags were sealed with a small sticker saying don't through me away food ? No instructions on storing or cooking NOW i have to get rid of poly bags big cardboard box (Remember the no waste ) now to try the food i did get cooking instructions after emailing the company and settled for a Beef satay with rice and vegetables the instructions for cooking the rice put the bag in boiling water for 10mins so i did thinking it was boil in the bag rice 10mins later it was uncooked so not boil in the bag but throw in the bin so i settled for the meat ( that was meat and gristle ) and veg with sauce what a disappointment needless to say that night i was very ill ( and that could be from anything i had to eat that
day ) and as i have said before if in doubt leave out, the rest of the meals went in the bin and i won't be ordering again, i will buy fresh make my own meals and freeze them, cheaper and no packaging to get rid of.
Soggy box, unsealed food, no instructions...
Extremely poor.
Arrived in a cardboard box, soggy and falling apart from the inside. This was due to condensation off the bag of ice in the uninsulated box. Bubble wrap doesnt quite do it.
The vacuum packed claim is false. Plastic bag sealed with a sticker, folded over.
The company website doesnt seem to display the cooking instructions for any of the food as claimed. Coeliac UK shows some but not all. I wont question why the charity seems to be covering the company, but someone might want to look into who holds stakes in both.
All in all, delivered in poor condition, unhygienically packaged. Not able to cook due to no instructions, not even sure on oven temperatures. Poor website, which is actually a shop and nothing else. Basically its 20 quid for an unmade, raw KFC that you dont know if you are cooking right.
RIP off merchant with clearly fake reviews on here and apparently no care if the coeliac community are hit with food poisoning.

I am SO happy this company is our there. I had not had good Chinese food or chicken balls in over 10 years! The food arrived on time and in sustainable packaging, which made it so much better. The dishes came together so quickly and tasted outstanding! I also loved how affordable everything was. I even placed a second order the same night, as I enjoyed my fest! Thank you SO much and I cannot wait to try everything else!
Amazing GF food
First Chinese in 8 years and it didn't disappoint. A slight delay in the delivery but Andrew (director) sorted it promptly. Also ordered the pizza garlic bread and it was amazing.
Most of the packing is eco friendly and the cooking instructions are on the website so no paper wastage. Easy to follow instructions with all ingredients individually packed to keep fresh. Will definitely be ordering again.

I’m sure it’s Uk regulations that pre packed food has to be labelled correctly so potentially they are breaking law .

I ordered the fry’d chicken feast and the chip shop platter. The battered sausage, fish and chips were lovely! Hardly any grease and very light! I’ve got over half of the box left and haven’t started on the chicken feast yet. Love the meals I’ve ordered a few time’s before and will definitely be ordering again!!

Awful and expensive, I’ve had better supermarket ready meals. Not delivered on time, no cooking instructions Wrong vegetables for each meal. I contacted them and they did offer 50% another box but even £10 is too much for the quality
Excellent in every way
After 5 years of being coeliac, to be able to enjoy one of the foods I miss the most- kfc takeaway. The price, the quality, quantity, flavour, delivery and customer service are all excellent. Looking forward to trying something else from the menu

Was really looking forward to trying this, was hoping it was something similar to kfc.
My chips arrived as mush, covered in some sort of grease, once cooked the grease filled my tray. Even after patting them on kitchen roll they were still a soggy mess.
The chicken coating was way too salty, too thick.
I did however like the gravy.
Overall I wouldn't order again such a shame, also gave me tummy ache after eating 🙁 maybe too much salt and grease!

I had high hopes
I've only tried 1 out of the 3 meals sent to me and it was very disappointing. Soggy, unappetising and wish I'd taken the time to make it myself from scratch.
Unfortunately one of the other meals allergens is milk so I cannot even eat this!! (despite me clearly stating what I couldn't eat and it didn't state on website) And I received ingredients not even for the dishes I ordered. Disappointing. I had high hopes.
Fish and chips
I can thoroughly recommend this company, I had a little hiccup with the delivery company, so I emailed gooditsglutenfree and within 24 hours I was speaking with someone and arranging for another pack to be sent out immediately. When my order arrived it did not disappoint the fish was absolutely beautiful (I'm very fussy with fish) and the fakeaway chicken was perfect size portions.
I look forward to trying some more 10/10 :)

I ordered the Fish and Chips, the Fish Goujon wrap with sweet potato fries and Chicken Curry. The instructions were simple and easy to follow and every dish was delightful. The portions are also very generous.
Cannot wait to order my next box!!!
