Alannah made me feel very comfortable during the viewing of a property. She was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful through out the whole process. Outstanding experience.

Please be aware that the current Abito studio flat they have listed is owned by an overseas landlord who refuses to address the dire maintenance needs of the flat and will throw you out of your home through a no faults eviction if you request for repairs to be made.

We were left for months with a broken fridge/freezer, broken microwave/oven, broken washing machine, faulty fire alarm, no lights in the only bathroom, broken toilet seat, ongoing leak, water damage, problems with hot water, ect.

While the estate agents admitted on the phone that the flat was not in a liveable condition and the landlord was in violation of the contract, they did nothing but ignore our emails for weeks while providing no solutions or compensation. When we raised a formal complaint, instead of doing the needed repairs they then threw us out of our home through a section 21.

My agent was Alannah Nightingale! She was very kind and helpful with me! She answered all my questions and more important she tried to find an impairment tailored to my needs! Thanks again for the cooperation!

Stay away from Goodwin Fish. Little to no help when the apartment I rented gets water leaks like rainfall. At the end of the tenancy, deduct my deposit for cleaning fee.

You would best avoid this company. Everything was a problem. The mid year reports suggested that nothing was wrong yet on check out there was over £1400 of remedial work. All the defects were labelled by the Property Manager as “wear tear”. Fortunately I didn’t listen and made them claim from the deposit. However true to form the apartment was left in a disgraceful state and the new managing agent had to arrange the cleaning. If you have pride in your apartment I would suggest that you avoid this company.

Had a really good experience with Goodwin Fish. McKayla was really lovely and attentive during our initial viewing and we had loads of help from other estate agent throught the application process. Highly recommend!

Absolutely dreadful letting agent, the worst I’ve ever came across. Refused to replace a stained mattress before I moved in and refused to professionally clean the apartment too before I moved in.

Wing Yan was very helpful and professional in showing me the properties. He could answer all my queries with his fair comment, expertise and knowledge, which helped me a lot in my decision.

Like other reviews, I've had a challenging experience with this company. Despite hiring professional cleaners before moving out, they still claimed cleaning fees. Additionally, they made claims for mattresses, which were overturned by the DPS adjudicator. This service is free of charge and available to anyone facing unwarranted claims. Over time, DPS can monitor the frequency and quality of claims submitted by Goodwin Fish and provide feedback, which should improve their process and hopefully prevent poor submissions in the future.

During my twelve-month tenancy, the flat suffered from issues like dampness and black mold that were never resolved. Confusingly, I was charged for rubbish removal, even though the manager knew I had done it myself. Based on these experiences, I would not recommend this company at this time. However, with ongoing staff training and development, there's a potential for improvement. Although there were gaps in staff knowledge and competencies, I would recognise their enthusiasm and courtesy in replying to emails so it might be worth reconsidering their services in twelve months.

All good until you experience a rent increase which comes with a section 21 eviction attached !!! Pay up or get out attitude.
If you happen to be on holiday for a week when they POST this out to you then you come back to your flat advertised on Rightmove and viewings booked in before you've even agreed or disagreed!!! On check out your given unrealistic cleaning standards, and they hold your deposit to randsom refusing to tell you or the DPS any info or amounts claimed until you pay your last months rent. Aggressive nature and clearly couldnt care less about tenants or relationships - BE AWARE.

Move out was handled extremely poorly, complete lack of communication, charged us for £200 professional cleaning for a flat that was cleaner than when we moved in. Sent us the pictures for a different flat in the checkout report. charged us for cleaning of two mattresses when we both had a mattress topper the whole year we were living in the flat. Avoid at all costs.

It’s a good experience to viewing the sold property with Wing Yan, he’s listening and answering all my queries with patience and professional.
