Avoid - terrible service

Same as all the other reviews. Order placed over 2 weeks ago and they haven't even dispatched. Keep fobbing me off with emails saying it will be soon - with smiley face emojis (I'm not finding this situation funny). I finally demanded a refund yesterday which they say will be back on my card within 3-10 days!!! In my experience credits appear quite quickly and nothing showing on Barclaycard yet. Avoid at all costs and don't get sucked in by their cheap prices.

Citizens Advice template letter worked for me.

Unfortunately I suffered the same horror story as others. In the end I warned them that I was not going to let the matter drop and I would go to the small claims court if necessary. I then sent them a template letter that I found on the Citizens Advice Bureau basically stating which Trades Description Acts they were in breach off and whether by coincidence or not I was refunded the money owed the next day. Worth a try. Hope it works for you too.

Dreadful company

Dreadful company. Takes them forever to deliver the parcel and this is not the first time I have experienced issues in this regard. Shame they are not as quick to deliver as they are to take payment. No other company I have ordered from is this slow.

I've been waiting for almost two months and still haven't received my order, even though they've promised multiple times that it would be with me by the end of the week. I threatened to take it up with my bank and almost immediately got a notification from Hermes saying it's on the way...

Oh my goodness! They are awful!

Oh my goodness!! I spent £75 and i still haven't got my products after 3.5 weeks. Damn, i wish i had seen these reviews?!!? What can we do?? Are they connected to the Gooseberry Salon in Nottingham?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I placed an order online with this company as the prices offered seem to be good value. 3 weeks later, I have no products and no response from customer services. The money was taken from my account immediately - no sign of product or any refund yet. The same story as most reviews here. They should be prevented from trading if this is how they operate.

Deplorable operation - beware !

I paid them £79 and after a week queried status of my border. Was told internal problems but would definitely be with me next week. It wasn't. Contacted them and they said definitely next week but could have refund. Asked for refund - two weeks ago and still waiting. Told them I will be reporting them to my bank and within an hour they processed the refund - one month after placing the order ! People like this should not be allowed to do business - they are deplorable and be careful - do not use them !!!!

The worst company ever and they are…

The worst company ever and they are thief's! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM at any cost!
You will spot the pattern they have no stock are you happy to wait. You wait then nothing. Then you contact them again they say they will refund. Nothing is refunded. I will be reporting to the police and trading standards. Just stealing people's money.

Last year I placed an order that never…

Last year I placed an order that never materialised and despite numerous phone calls and promises it took 18 weeks for my refund
On 30th June I gave them the benefit of the doubt and foolishly gave gooseberry another chance. Yet again my order has not been fulfilled and yet again I’ve received emails telling me it takes 3-10 days for refunds, which yet again has not materialised. They simply cannot be trusted

😡 Another rip of company

wish I could give no stars. Wish I would of checked on here before ordering anything from this crap company. Luckily what I ordered wasn't a lot, but been waiting since the 6th of July for my order, keep being told its delivery problem which is rubbish when I ordered from another company arrived within 3 days, I have asked for a refund 2 times to be told its being sent out in a few days, sick of being told lies.
Please read reviews before you order of this shambles of a company, like I said just glad I didn't spend a lot.

Depressingly I have come here to find I am having the same identical experience as nearly all others here: no goods, "tracking" links sent for Hermes but Hermes never received the goods. etc etc

Same experience as everyone below

Same experience as everyone below. ADVICE: write to CAB and they will send you a template you can send to the company. After doing this I finally received my products. They were incorrect to what i'd ordered but close enough that I was happy enough to settle for this but please don't give up!

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE

Complete scam...going through my bank to reclaim money.
Absolutely zero stars is more apt...I think everyone should FB the gooseberry hair page, as they are partners and obviously in it together.
Another so called “gone missing” parcel..expected to wait 28 days for delivery company, although this is against consumer rights, as the contract is with the company providing goods and not the delivery company.
Please stay away from this company.
Shame on them taking people’s money for their own greed.
Update...try Joe Lycett....someone should shame these people for continuous taking of new orders.
I have contacted trading standards and ActionFraud and obviously Joe Lycett TV programme...😡😡😡

Horrendous

Horrendous - After ordering in Feb to be told the order had gone missing in the post but there was no way of tracking it, there was no reply from the delivery company or tracking number issued. Numerous chases I finally got a reply and advised I would like a refund. Jump forward to 4 months later and countless e-mails and chases to be told 3 times my money had been refunded - it hadn't. i chased for the final time before going to trading standards or my credit card company - the money was finally refunded this week.
I understand times have been difficult and different with lockdown but customer care, honesty and transparency with this company is horrendous.

Avoid!

Wrong item sent to me and customer service is worse than appalling. I had to pay for the return which will then be added to the refund apparently. I have been waiting weeks for contact and refund but no-one responds to emails. Avoid like the plague!!!
