They have excellent service and we're quick to reply to any questions prior to making any purchases. They accommodated for shipping with our project being built in north ontario but us residing in the south. We love their products and have since purchased 2 of their rtts (one for us and another for my brother) with the intention on ordering another for the wife's rig as well. The quality of their products are top notch and the price point makes it easier for many to get to the outdoors in style. I always recommend them when asked about information for people interested. Expedition XL

Took this out for the 1st time last week. Installation and set up was easy. It took 3 people to get it on the roof from a raised platform. Securing the tent to your crossbars with the supplied hardware is simple.

The tent is pretty easy to open and close. Closing required some effort tucking in bits. I thought with the height of the tent it would be easy to close with blankets and pillows inside. It can handle a bit of extra bedding but not too much.

The supplied mattress is fine for a night or 2 but not great. I sleep on my side and need something thicker. I was expecting this so adding a topper doesn't bother me at all.

We used the winter insulation on night 2 and it worked great. Big difference. Easy to set up. The only small complaint is it sags a little bit from the roof. Not terrible sagging but one more clip could easily solve this. I would also add handles next to the shoe bags for safety when transitioning to the ladder.

Plenty of room for 2 of us and the dog. Pockets inside are useful. Haven't set up the roof bars yet but those will definitely be useful. Zippers all work well

First ever roof top tent. Did a lot of shopping around and this seems like really good value. The big question will be durability and only time will tell

I would recommend the XL plus a mattress topper for someone looking for a really spacious and comfy RTT that's easy to set up and great value. I'd say the main competition is the ikamper and it's significantly more money especially when you factor in all the accessories not included.

I'm planning a really long trip (6 months) with this thing so durability will be everything. If it's not leaking by the end of the trip I'll revise to 6 stars

Lightest RTT we could find at best price with best accessories. We had great customer service experience with the team. Our Journey X Lite transfers between our truck to go Overland and our small cruiser boat to go Oversea. It has given our adolescent daughter new interest in exploring the wilderness with us, as she has claimed it for her own personal treehouse.

I really enjoy the RTT, everything came as advertised. Dealing with Overland Canada was pleasant and everything from question answers and delivery was quick.

The customer service provided by Ryan was absolutely stellar. Excellent communication throughout the process with quick replies and updates. Ordered an Expedition XL along with an ORO bed rack and both are superbe, well built, solid, and easy to install. No doubt we will enjoy our new gear for many years to come.

The Gooverland rooftop tent is a fantastic addition to any overlander’s gear setup. After several trips using this tent, I’ve been consistently impressed with its durability, comfort, and ease of use. I’ve just spent over a month camping across the USA with the Journey X Lite tent from Go Overland Canada, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This tent has been a game-changer for my summer adventures, the perfect blend of durability, convenience, and comfort.

The tent itself is incredibly well-designed—lightweight, and sturdy enough to withstand everything from heavy winds to crazy rains. The setup is quick and easy. After weeks on the road it’s held up beautifully, and we've really put this thing through hell!

Although I haven’t had a chance to use my new Expedition XL RTT yet. The build quality is absolutely great. Go overland Canada is an excellent company to deal with. They have been very responsive to my questions and emails. Would defiantly recommend giving this growing company a shot if your in the market for a RTT. You won’t regret it.

Gamechanger. Comfy, easy to use, and you can set it up in the rain. The journey x lite was fairly easy to install, but if you don't have a lot of clearance on your crossbar the nuts are hard to do up, would be nice to have a wrench like tool with a long handle. Everything else has been fantastic. I have taken it up to whitehorse, yukon and it held up well against rain, wind, and with the winter lining still quite comfortable at 5 degrees Celsius.

I have the odessy 2 person with the winter insulation and awning on top of my lx470, used this tent in heavy rain and cold nights and mornings along the Oregon Coast, camping on the beaches, took it too Moab where it was used in very heavy winds, this tent is outstanding no leaks and warm with the winter insulation which also means no condensation inside, the awning keeps the tent quieter in heavy winds and the whole set up was way more stable then I thought it would be, my last tent would have collapsed under the winds. I will buy another one from go overland, the main reason beside the quality is the service the whole team at go over land has been reposnsive long after the tent was purchased. Checking in to see how happy we were with the tent asking about any design suggestions for future tent builds. Extremely happy with everything. This tent lives on top of my truck and is used almost every long weekend.

Took our first trip in the RTT a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. Appreciate the ease of setup and take down compared to our old ground tent. I bought some beefier mounting brackets designed for my style of bed crossbars and the mounting is very secure. First impression of build quality is great and the included accessories add to the value. Very happy with our purchase!

Bought a Summit rooftop tent earlier this summer and couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience! This was our first rooftop tent and since there are very few rooftop tent retailers where we live, we were super nervous about making such a large purchase online. The support we received from Go Overland Canada has been incredible all the way through, which put our minds at ease and gave us the confidence to take the plunge. Every email I sent was answered (honestly and sincerely) within minutes, it seemed. The advice we received in choosing a tent model was also spot on - we actually ended up going with a different model than we originally intended to based on their advice, and we couldn’t be happier! The tent arrived literally 4 days after we ordered it. I couldn’t believe it! It was packaged extremely well and the fit and finish of all components is clean and rock solid. It definitely looks and feels like a premium product. We love our tent and look forward to many adventures to come! I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Go Overland Canada to anyone looking to purchase a rooftop tent.

We've used our roof top tent a handful, and those 4 times were amazing! It's very very easy to put up, it makes us feel more sheltered from the wind and wildlife, easy to fold and dry. The best part is.... you can park in any beautiful view, sleep with that view and wake up with it, no matter how remote it is! Yay!

We've had a very rainy night with it too, and it performed perfectly with the rain. We didn't get wet, our shoes didn't get wet and we were warm.

Just like other tents, we still open it up when we get home, just park it in the parking pad and let it air out to make sure it doesn't get mildew and moldy; but because of how easy it is to open and fold up, it's no big deal.

For some reason, our roof top tent XL got delivered in Ontario, customer service messaged me right away and said that there's no one of my name that lives there! We found where the issue is and they redirected our package right away to the territories... at no cost!
They were responsive in all messages or questions we had. Could not ask for a better customer service!

They delivered exactly what was advertised. Great product and the delivery was flexible and quick. They answered all of my questions before ordering.

I LOVE my trek! It's made of incredibly durable material, hardly feel it onto of my Bronco. It's comfy and more spacious inside then anticipated. It makes no road noise. And it looks nice and sleek! Dealing with overland canada is quick, easy and simple. They're incredibly helpful and friendly!

We ordered this tent to get away from the crowds and get into the back country. It came really quick was so simple to set up and we love how comfortable it is. The dark tent allows for great sleep ins and the skylight it’s great for viewing the stars at night. The only complaint would be that you can’t fold your bedding into the tent for easy storage and pack up. Otherwise we are extremely happy with this tent!

Terrific customer service, and I absolutely love my tent. They gave me advise on which would work best for my vehicle, and continued to stay in touch through email. Additionally, i bought a bed rack through them from their partner Peak CNC - also terrific. Highly recommend!

We’ve upgraded our soft shell to a hard shell from go overland. It’s been a game changer in terms of set up, tear down and comfort level. The little touches such as shoe bag and light bar really elevate the tent too. We’ve been sleeping in it while road tripping for over 10 days and we have been thoroughly impressed . The customer service received as well really shows the company’s dedication to its customers.
