I was referred to GoOverland Canada by a friend who owns an RTT, and it was totally worth it! I got the Expedition Mini and the Annex. We just tested them on a 6-day road trip along the Côte-Nord with my girlfriend and our two German Shepherds. Yes, we all slept in the tent together! We camped at official sites and in some spots we found on the iOverlander app. We encountered some rainy nights and very strong winds on the shore of the St. Lawrence, but we stayed dry and comfortable in the tent. Even though I was worried the annex might blow away, it didn’t budge at all. The annex was also great for waiting out the rain. It was so easy to set up and pack away!

Go Overland Canada has superior quality tents. Picking up The Expedition XL tent was easy and smooth. Installation was simpler than I thought, no tools required! The tent itself has high quality materials and a rugged build. I was very impressed by the velvet mattress and even more impressed how all the accessories were packed. It includes a detachable winter insulation kit for those colder nights. It also includes t-slot channels to mount accessories, two crossbars for top of tent, a telescopic ladder with max length 90", netted screens to keep the bugs away, removable rain fly, an awning that is included free in the expedition models.
The tent sleeps 4 adults, there are four windows (one front, two sides, one skylight), skylight for stargazing, internal storage pockets and 1 year manufacturer's warranty. I was also impressed with black honeycomb aluminum hardshell which is vital for off-roading, providing protection to the materials and the tent itself. My biggest hesitation were the zippers in previous tent experiences, zippers will get caught and break. But I’ll give it to Go Overland Canada, the zippers are really high-quality. Overall the tent has a very sleek and unique finish and I’m looking forward to many fun camping adventures with it. Go Overland Canada definitely cares about every detail, from how everything is packaged to how is everything is constructed.
Dealing with Vito and the staff at Go Overland Canada was a pleasure as they were very patient and helpful, definitely good customer service. I would definitely recommend the Expedition XL!

Customer service was quick and polite to correct a mistake I made when purchasing my Journey X lite RTT. The quality of their products are amazing and worth the price point. They also work with other great companies that assist with installing products. Red Bear in Toronto installed my Go Overland Canada Tent and that was also seamless. Would definitely recommend to overs.

Amazing customer service, from sales to delivery. In my case I picked up the tent at their location and they assisted me with the installation. Great tent, will definitely last for many adventures in all weather conditions. Highly recommended.

I bought the expedition xl back in May and have been out a few times so far.

Setup and takedown are easy, only nitpick is that it’s a bit annoying stuffing the edges in when closing with how it’s positioned on my truck.

We managed to choose camping times that coincided with heavy rain and saw no issues. Stayed warm and dry.

Only issue I have right now is that sometimes the strap used to pull the tent closed manages to slip out of the small gap when the tent is closed and I’ll notice it flapping in the wind while driving. Is minor and I just stuff it back in so that it’s under the mattress and doesn’t happen again.

Customer support is amazing. Had one issue and they took care of it right away. Super happy.

The customer support is easy to deal with and replies very quickly to questions. The quality and finish of the exterior and interior is great. The setup was quick and easy. We have done a couple weeks of camping (2 adults, baby and a medium sized dog) and we love our Go Overland Canada tent (Expedition XL).

Great quality tents at great prices. I've recently purchased our second tent from Go Overland Canada. First tent was the Expidetion Mini, lots of room and loved the awening. Second tent is the Journey X Lite, I love how light this tent is and it's still an aluminum hard shell. Fast delivery and great service. I'm sticking with these guys!!!!

Awsome product. Bought the Journey Xlite lst spring, used it around 15 night and its amazing! Great product, comfortable amd easy to set up. Looks durable too. I highly recommand this brand … and its Canadian ;)

Right from the initial probing emails trying to sis out of a RTT was for me and what it entailed these guys have been awesome. Fast forward 6 months to when I got my vehicle and could afford the tent and they were super communicative every step of the way. Had some trouble with mounting as my bed rack cross bars were further apart than normal I suppose and Ryan was trouble shooting with me by email. Couldn’t figure out the ladder? Again, sent me a link to a video and now I’m set!

This team goes above and beyond in the customer service department and the product looks solid! Can’t wait to get out and give it a try :)

If by some chance there's damage during shipping, a missing component, or you aren't completely happy with your product, they're quick to find a solution for you. I’m happy with the quality and build of my tent 100%. We are currently in northern Newfoundland island with it and it’s done amazing thus far! Only issue I’m having with it at the moment is it was damaged during the shipping and I still haven’t heard anything about what they are doing about it. Considering the price point of these tents I’m pretty disappointed it came damaged and there doesn’t seem to be much hurry on finding a solution for me.

Love our Expedition Mini. The quality is fantastic. Our first night out was in a torrential downpour and not a single drop of water got into the tent. The queen size bed is very comfortable and roomy. The cross ventilation is perfect for the warmer nights and the skylight is awesome for viewing the stars. Sets up and down with easy. Everything was included with the tent including a large awning and a winter insulation kit. We bought the add a room for a portable toilet and shower and are good to go anywhere, anytime!

I own a journey x lite roof top tent from Go Overland and we love it so much we're looking into getting a second tent from them. I also own the 180 awning and it's just the perfect pair. Hoping to get a second one as well

In my case the only issue I had was wind noise between my Rhino rack and the tent. I was able to fix this with duct tape to fill the gap

The Mini Expedition is an excellent quality and product. I own a 2023, one son a 2024 and my other a cheaper alternative.

There are small thoughtful things like the indoor lighting.

Product development is clearly important as there are subtle changes between the 2 versions

Any concerns or questions are addressed quickly with helpful responses.

What can I say? Everything about this purchase is amazing! I reached out before hand through email got an amazing fast response, it was fantastic. Had it shipped to my parents since I was out of town, all the interactions were fantastic, between the delivery driver, the customer service and having them being able to contact both myself and my father was super easy.
Installed the rack and the camper was beyond simple, everything was well detailed and protected. I've had it on for about a month now and I have no complaints. Super easy to set up anywhere I want, very comfortable inside, stays dry in the worst storms, easy to pack up, doesn't make any extra noise or drag with it being onto of the truck. Couldn't be happier.
People ask all the time about it and I tell them they need a Go Overland especially if they are in Canada. Support local and you know your also getting a product made for Canadian weather's with a great warranty and a great company.
