We used Go Plans to prepare our planning application, building regulations and structural engineering plans for our extension project. They did an excellent job and were very helpful and efficient.

They came to measure up our house to create 'existing' drawings. Their architect then helped us develop our proposals and created drawings and 3D images. After Go Plans secured planning permission, they also advised on building regulations matters and prepared and supported that application.

We would recommend.

Go plans drew up my loft conversion and helped me with getting planning permission for the loft conversion. They can support with whole process from drawing plans to securing the builders for the job. They explained everything well and answered all my questions, which there were lots of as this was my first time. I would recommend.

Had building floor plans drawn up by Go Plans, these were done to a high standard and completed on time. Go Plans also helped me with structural calculations which were passed on to my builder as I await planning permission before work commences on my garage conversion project. This was also applied for on my behalf by Go Plans. Everything was explained to me in high levels of detail and as someone who has never carried out building work on this scale before, it was also incredibly helpful to have GoPlans assisting me every step of the way. Overall I would thoroughly recommend.

Go plans provided a quick and streamlined design experience with well timed handovers between different professionals. Our plan did however fall short of the planning authority's expectations, due to fire regulations, and after accepting responsibility Go plans helped us out with free of charge with necessary adjustments. I would recommend Go plans for their quick and easy service for smaller jobs.

I put a lot of faith into the reviews of others, and that really influenced my choice to go with GoPlans. The booking process was simple, and the engineer arrived and was lovely, and helpful. However, I did not receive the full engineers report that I requested, and when I explained this, the engineer said that it wont be necessary. Fast forward to my leaseholder reviewing the report, it was rejected due to being incomplete and lacking calculations needed to safely continue the build. This delayed the build further, as we all know hearing back from leaseholders can take weeks on end.

I then requested the full report from GoPlans to submit to the leaseholder, and this was sent to me in full in under 24 hours. I really appreciate the service I received from GoPlans when I needed the full report, my only problem being that I didn't receive the full report initially. Aside from that, GoPlans have been incredibly helpful and incredibly fast at rectifying the report I needed. Not only this, but the engineer offered to pass his number on to my leaseholder incase they have any additional questions on the report, which I feel was above and beyond. Thank you.

After having issues with our previous architect. Go Plans were very helpful and quick in getting the necessary changes and drawings done that we needed for our building work.

Go Plans helped us with a planning application for a new roof. They were very helpful, quick to respond and made the process of doing construction work in a conservation area a lot easier!

The team at Go Plans are absolutely fantastic. Friendly with excellent Attention to detail, professionalism, speed of getting the jobs done. I am not very good with the planning side of things but everything is made easy and they explain things so well, I feel like I’m able to make the right decisions which will definitely benefit the property. I had a great experience with Karim the structural engineer – he was knowledgeable and helpful, and the process was understandable and efficient.

We worked closely with Go Plans, particularly Renata and Shilan, to create plans for a new kitchen area in our house. Plans were great, was really useful for us to tap into their expertise, and they were always available if we needed them. Additionally they were extremely helpful in regards to ensuring planning permission wasn't a problem and passing on trusted building contacts. Will definitely use again.

My local council changed their process for listed building consent applications, and require front, back and side elevation drawings even when the only change is to paint colour! I contacted Go Plans and another company for a quote. Go Plans were a third of the cost of the other architect, so I instructed them to do the drawings. They visited the site very quickly and produced excellent drawings which have been submitted to, and approved by, the council. I would definitely use them again.

I've worked with Goplans on several projects and discovered that they can provide top-quality design and good service not just because of their well-trained architectural team, but also because of their intuitive design sensibility. I would suggest Goplans to anybody looking for an architect firm that provides personalised attention and thoughtful design.

Do not use unless you want to be ripped off!
This company is run by the same directors as Summit Architecture who went into liquidation a month ago.
Citizens Advice confirmed that Summit Architecture failed to comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 with regards to their legal obligation and poor quality of work.
They refused to provide any work without full payment up front even though they had applied to close their company months before entering liquidation.
They were still contacting me even after they had filed for liquidation and purposely mislead me in thinking they were still trading and could complete the project in 2023.
Unfortunately, I only found out they had closed their company after I had raised a complaint to Citizens Advice about their poor & incomplete services. Both the directors or liquidators failed to notify their existing customers of the company closure.
Avoid at all costs - I've lost thousands due to their poor services/management and now have to start the project from scratch.
