The bike is great but service not so

The bike is great. It is a good deal for what you get. It is solid and well built. Great range too. I love the bike. It is perfect for first time electric bike. However I had an issue right away with the battery. At first, service tried to help by sending me two bad batteries and they seems to have stop support now. So I am not sure if I should recommend the brand at this point.

Would definitely recommend GoTrax to…

Would definitely recommend GoTrax to anyone.
Selecting a product you want is probably the hardest part about the ordering process, as they have a wide selection of great products.
I personally went with the GX2.
Ordering and placing payment was easy and painless and shipping was a lot faster than expected.

Currently writing this review, my scooters odometer reads 947km.
With a top speed of 56km/h and a realistic range of 20-30km (on maximum speed) it's exhilarating and efficient at taking you places fast, yet comfortable.
The dual suspension on these scooters are amazing, but word of advice for buyers, the springs come pretty stiff so you'll definitely need to adjust them based off your body weight.

Another great aspect I've come to love about GoTrax is their top tier customer service and warranty.
Unfortunately with my scooter, I started to run into charging issues around the 600km mark on my odometer.
Two quick emails and one picture later, I have a new battery pack sent out without hesitation, which completely fixed my issue.

Looking forward to seeing what new products GoTrax releases in the future!

Maybe a hyperscooter? Hint hint wink wink nudge nudge.

Fast

Fast , and fun but in Canada not many buses let you on , only GO train which makes travelling with it very limited. It doesn’t fold down as compact as I hoped.

Love my bike very much

Love my bike very much. Over 500 kms already. Up some steep hills out here with ease. Only thing I detest is rear brake squeals very loud and draws unwanted attention. I think it may need new brakes.

custtomer services suck big time

i purchase a ebike the gotrac f3 on the 22 of july 2024 i got the ebike a few days later put it together and worked for 10 minutes and stop and would not turn on again i have heard some horror story about the customer service and returning a bike to them so i took my new ebike to my local bike shop it took one hour to find that the batery contact was not good they fixed it in 1 hour cost me 114$ but gotrax are telling me i did not have permission to take it to my local shop so they will not pay,they sent me a defective ebike and its my fault never again peoples buy from a local shop so you can return there and actualy talk to a person,gotrax you suck big time customer services wise.david c ask for my contact info i give him my cell number and my email 5 days ago and nothing they just try to make peoples readfing this that they will fix your problem that more bullcrap he never contacted me.

you are asking for my info like my email or phone number where do i send these info on the gotrax canada site or somewhere else.
they ask you for your info so they can contact you to fix the problem but they dont provide where to send the info its just smoke,they want to look like there fixing your problem but they are not even trying,stay away from gotrax canada you will get no after market help if you have a problem.

I ordered a Gotrax eBike this past weekend from their website, and provided my name, address and my credit card# which they immediately charged over $1100. Now they want me to prove that I am who I am by giving them a copy of my ID. I've never had any problem ordering stuff from Amazon, and think their request is idiotic. Very disappointed in customer service

Not even 2 years ago we bought 2 identical Gotrax Apex electric scooters for our boys. After charging the batteries to full, one of the scooters would run dead sooner than the other. We assumed it was because of the weight difference between our children (the problem one belonged to our older son) but turns out that was not the case and was an indicator of a bigger issue. Our kids literally used these scooters no more than 10-15 times last summer between getting them in the winter of 2023 (and not being able to use them) and being able to use them briefly in the summer of 2023 before we moved and they were put into storage and didn’t come out until this Spring (2024). Neither had used their scooter very often and they were not used during the past winter despite being charged from time to time over the winter. When spring recently came, suddenly the battery on our older son’s scooter wouldn't charge. We explained the situation to Gotrax customer support saying that one scooter worked perfectly fine while the other didn’t and both were clearly in new condition (they asked us to do a video). Gotrax support's only solution was to offer us a 15% discount on a new $200+ battery. While it was out of warranty, we feel like we overpaid by $200 given one scooter still works perfectly fine and the second required a new battery through no fault of ours. Clearly we got a dud and they were not willing to budge on their offer. Obviously the battery was faulty from the start but we didn't know. While they were quick to respond to our complaint we feel frustrated with how it was remedied since these scooters are expensive to start with and now we are out of pocket even more to get it to work again. We also told them that we would be writing this review due to their unreasonable offer but they didn’t bother to respond again. I highly suggest trying another brand as the batteries are extremely expensive to replace.
