DON’t DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

I’ve been among the longest customer of this company. On the past, they were wonderful, very customer-centric. They provided great service and the products were of good quality.

However, the quality of everything went down hill in the last few years. They fired almost all of their sales force, including guys that made the company what they are today. Customer service is so bad right now that some returns took weeks to responded to and months to get the money back. I lost 1 package in their warehouse worth over $7K, and they NEVER resolved. They still responded to my other emails, but the emails about this lost package was entirely ignored. I cannot got a hold of anybody, even my long time customer service rep. Think about it, they LOST my package of $7K, and I couldn’t do anything. Money was wired, so I can’t file a charge back. Emails went unanswered. My sales reps were fired.

But that is not the reason I wrote this message today. Since the inception of goWholesale, they implemented a new system that cancelled your order AUTOMATICALLY. So if the payment is not received within 3 business day, the order is AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED. Not only that, they will charger you 10% for RESTOCKING FEE. The products are still in their warehouse, why is there a RESTOCKING FEE? We are talking about 10% fee on a wholesale order, some can be $30K - $50K, and the restocking fee would be $3K - $5K! This is absolutely ridiculous.

Previously, they allowed 3 business day to pay. But the new rule will be 1 business day. That means if you create the order today at 3PM, by 3PM tomorrow, if the payment is not received, the order will be canceled no matter what, and 10% will be charged to your card on file (you can’t do business with them without a card on file). So, if the bank doesn’t release your wire for whatever reason, or if the money coming into to your account shows up 1 day late, or the bank needs to verify something and they can’t reach you on time, or payment coming from an international bank takes longer than 1 day, or some banks don’t allow a wire coming in and be sent out the same day, etc…YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED AND 10% CANCELLATION FEE WILL BE APPLIED.

I’ve been buying from multiple sellers over the years, including biggest names in the liquidation market, I have never seen any company that is HOSTILE like this company toward their customers. The automatic cancellation policy is so dumb, and there’s only 1 beneficiary, that is the company itself. I used to be very excited when I won an auction on directliquidation (same company) or goWholesale, but now it becomes a constant fear because if I don’t make payment on time, my order is cancelled.

By the way, they don’t just cancel and charge you 10% for late fee when you didn’t pay for order within 3 days (soon will be 1 day). They also charge you 10% if you don’t check out for offers on time (previously it was 7 days to check out, now it’s 3 days). So even if you haven’t checked out, they can still find another way to slap you 10% cancellation fee! I have been hit with thousands of dollars of cancellation fee, and it’s so ridiculously frustrating. It’s 1 thing that they cancel your offer, you only wasted time and effort to win those offers. But it’s entirely different when they hit you with 10% fee, which can be thousands of dollars. And there’s nothing you can do about it.

If you read this far, you know how frustrating it will be dealing with this company. I used to love them, now I hate them. You can lose a lot of money even BEFORE you receive any products. Think long and hard before doing business with them. You’ve been warne
