My order from Grace's Bags; actually my two orders.

I ordered a bag on Grace's Bags site and then looked around at comments concerning these purses. When I was waiting for my order I began to worry.
When I received it my wife and I were both surprised at how nice it was. As soon as we received the beautifully made purse, my wife loaded it up with her purse stuff, and I immediately went to your site and ordered another one. The leather is beautiful.

Grace’s bags is a huge scam

Grace’s bags is a huge scam. First of all they are NOT LEATHER. They aren’t even nice pleather. Second, They take almost a month to ship. Thirdly they don’t allow refunds. Do not expect a nice bag from this place.

I only gave 1 star as that is the lowest - it would be ZERO stars! I’m surprised “Grace” is still “making” these bags - WHAT A JOKE! I ordered Nicole’s Timeless Elegance and apparently “Grace” needs to look at the pictures of her bags on her website because what I got was NOTHING like what I ordered! I contacted Grace’s Bags and was offered a 20% refund because, as they let me know, it could cost anywhere from $20 to $70 for me to return. This came from China (which I did not know when ordering) and the bag I got was NOTHING like it was on the website. I told them they needed to send a call tag for returning the bag as this was their fault I didn’t get what I ordered.” I finally opened a dispute with my credit card company and got a FULL REFUND. I highly suggest everyone who has a problem with this so called company to open a dispute with your credit card company and get your full refund also! I sent them pictures of the bag on the website and pictures of what I actually received. It wasn’t long at all before I was contacted to let me know I had gotten a full refund! Grace’s Bags is a scam. Handcrafted my foot - I’m sure there is no Grace!

SCAM

SCAM! They deserve a zero rating. Do not under any circumstances buy anything from this company. None of their goods are leather. They are incredibly cheap vinyl. You can even see the fabric on the back of the vinyl. Of course, they will not stand behind their product. I suspect there is no Grace and she is not closing up shop. It is just a way to scam you. Real leather does not quickly go up in flames and melt. Their bags do. DO NOT BUY!

I have photos that I would be happy to share; however, it does not appear that I can post them here. The photos will clearly show that their product is not leather.

I wish that I had read reviews before I pursed this Grace Bag. I have had it for less than 3 months and it is falling apart.
I paid $60 plus tax for this purse. I wrote once and said a zipper had come apart. The owner of the company wanted me to take a picture and send to her.
I didn't have time...my husband recently passed away.
Then, the entire shoulder strap fell apart. I stitched it together...it held for about two weeks. Today, it completely fell apart.
I would like my money back. Also, want to warn others to not buy one of these purses.

I fell for this scam as well

I fell for this scam as well! If something is too good to be true it probably is! I ordered two bags and two wallets. The order took 3 weeks to arrive and when I picked up the package I knew something was off because it was so light. One purse was advertised as PU leather which I expected but the other purse was advertised as genuine leather and it is obviously PU leather as well. The buckles are very thin and cheap looking. The wallets are ok and appear to be genuine leather. Please avoid this scam!

I ordered 4 leather purses made by a craftswomen and I received 4 fake leather purses made in China. There was no receipt with the purses. This is completely fake advertising. It's a bait and switch scam and whoever is behind should go to jail. The return process is a costly hassle. I reported the charge to my credit card company as fraud. I'm so mad. I'm nice to everyone and I get so mad at scammers

Poor Quality - Research reveals a scam

The bags arrived with zippers that won't zip and purse handles that will not stay on...so they included a bag of screws to repair handles. I purchased them from a Facebook ad in which "Grace" was retiring from making purses...that is not true. Now they say I need to send them to Asia...and take a loss. I turned them in for fraud. Horrible experience. I wish I could attach photos!

This is a well crafted fraud/scam

This is a well crafted fraud/scam. The Graces Bags scam is well written , and widely advertised. Grace is supposedly a leather artist, who is finally retiring and selling off inventory.
I ordered over 10 bags which arrived in 4 shipments The last shipment contained real leather bags, that are probably sent to ‘influencers’. The rest are the poorest pleather, fake plastic leather available, which fold flat like notebooks.
I hope those who read this didn’t give out their credit card number to this site. It is likely that they have a follow up fraudulent scam to sell your information.
Beware, the customer service will write to you in perfect ‘American’ English.

Beware-do not buy from this site

Beware-do not buy from this site! I bought 3 bags from this site and they were advertised as leather handmade bags by Grace. Also the information read that Grace handmade the leather bags or over 34 years and the store was closing with limited inventory left. When the bags arrived they were in a sealed bag with the writing on the bag specifying "Made in China". The information said the bag was made of "PU Leather". The bags were gifts for family and felt like plastic. I tried to phone Grace's Bags and email but no answer, no contact and no return of my funds. When I try to open the site it says "This site cannot be reached" or "This site cannot provide a secure connection".

Ladies bag

Pity I didn't check the reviews before placing my order.
I bought 2 bags, both are not what I expected.
Contacted them immediately, received a basic reply. I requested info on how to return items for refund, nothing since.
I've sent 4 emails.
Paid over $150

Very disappointed.

So I get a reply, they ask to email them at so and so address. That comes back with an error.
Unbelievable.
I've logged a case with PayPal.

If I could give zero stars I would. Not leather, nothing like the image or description on website. No quinble refund is not accurate. Wasted so much with emails back and forth. Returns process is lengthy and costly. Going via credit card company as product is definitely not as described. False advertising and a scam company

This is a scam

I ordered two bags for my wifes christmas. After waiting way to long they finally came. When I opened the package it was apparent this was not leather as advertised. And they both smelled like something died in them. Then to add to this, when I reached out for a refund I found out they were made in China not in a sweet old ladies work shop here in the USA. This is the second time I have been scammed buying through Facebook adds. I don't expect a refund as this outfit is out of reach.
