Ov been waiting for a refund for two days
Got a phone from. Got it home charged as instructed and the phone just keeps restarting so i tuck it back expecting instant refund but im sat here still waitinfg to recive refund
slow delivery from granger games
i ordered a blackberry curve 9320 from granger games and it didn't come for about 2-3 weeks and then we emailed them and they said they would find out then we emailed them again and said we want our money back then they emailed us saying it had been dispatched now i have to wate for 3-5 days
Poor warranty service
Purchased a phone from them, owned it for 6 weeks, the screen failed randomly but they refuse to repair it as they say the scratch in the screen, which can hardly even be seen, is the cause and not covered. I don't want the scratch to be covered, I want the phone to actually work as it was even when the scratch was there. Seems I'm not the only one with a faulty galaxy s7 screen anyway. Grainger just wash their hands of any responsibility, probably down to cost involved. Poor service.
If your new cars wipers motor broke and they wouldn't repair them cos you had a tiny mark on the windscreen, how would you feel? Same damn thing!
Unrelated fault, and any sensible repairer would see, where the so called damage is, that it would have no effect on the screen failing what so ever.

Ordered a game and they sent the wrong version and I had to send it back to be swapped. ordered a new game and they sent the wrong version again and it's second hand. Give these guys a miss it seems that they do this kind of thing often going off the other reviews.
Careless and pathetic
I bought a 10 pound Xbox gift card. They were all very rude in the shop very dull and weak. And most of all very careless. They went to activate the gift card so I can use it and can back with a receipt and asked for the money I gave them the money and took the card. Then I go to activate the gift card and it has activation failed I look at the receipt and it says down at the bottom activation failed. So why would I be charged for a card that does not work your shop is pathetic.
Berwick store is brilliant
The Grainger Games / Trade Nation store in Berwick upon Tweed is one of the best stores I've been in - of any kind. The staff are friendly, helpful, thoughtful and informative.
I'm a relatively regular visitor (mostly when trading old games or purchasing on launch of a new game), but every time I visit they are seen to be actively engaging with their customers, offering helpful suggestions or giving advice as well as dealing with happy shoppers quickly and efficiently.
I've been particularly impressed with the respect they have for the customers, be it helping completely clueless grandparents who can't remember the names of the items they're looking for or advising customers with broken mobile phones to check out their competitors pricing before they take in a phone to make sure the customer gets the best price (advice the customer didn't take, but I appreciated they were trying to help him make an informed choice). It's this kind of approach that keeps me coming to the high street for my gaming needs. Well done!

Fantastic Customer Service
I don't normally leave reviews but I had to for my local Grainger Games store in South Shields, I had a few questions before making a purchase and the assistant who served me was more than happy to help, I left the store happy with my purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the store to family and friends, I just wish I could remember the name of the assistant who served me so I could thank her on here.

Stay away from the sale branch as the manager has no customer skills and even less if you have a disability. My son buys games from this store at least 3 times a month I bought him several games for xmas and actually bought 2 of the same game with gift receipts, he is 24 but is autistic and doesn't go out alone usually but trying to give him a little independence I let him go alone to exchange the game the manageress very rudely ignored him when he asked could she just explain how much more extremist the new game was. It would be bad enough if it was a person without disabilities but to make him feel stupid beggars belief and it wasn't as though I could've gone in the next day as that was the last day for exchange, so I had to drive over with a poorly child and explain to an ignorant stupid woman what she had done so if grainger games are looking you need to teach your manager to have a bit of respect and patience for your customers with disabilities
No games in boxes !!!!!
I purchased battlezone PS4 vr on Christmas Eve, £40, and also lego marvel super hero's Xbox one earlier that week £20. To my horror when my kids Opened these on Christmas Day they were no games in them!!!!!'nothing, . They were both unsealed and sold as new. They were purchased from Ashton under Lynne. Surely these games will still be there, they have not been out in the cases!!! I'm so upset and disgusted, totally ruined Christmas . Shop closed Boxing Day, emailed waiting on response, will update on here their response and how they deal with it
NEW game appears used
Bought a NEW fifa 17 deluxe game (along with others). When received (which was really quick so thumbs up for that)... the disc had finger marks on it, was dusty and the box damaged (had a thumbnail size hole in it). It was a gift for my child's birthday so was quite disappointed.
By reading other comments/reviews, this appears to quite quite a common occurance with Grainger. Not happy.

I am so angry with this whole experience. I placed an order for a Nintendo 2ds console with new style boutique on the 22nd November and waited a few days, checking my account for updates etc. The famous 'order processing' never changed so I emailed via the contact form and also messaged them on facebook. Unlike other customers, I did actually get replies to my emails/messages - I was emailed in response to my email and was told that they were sorry but it was a busy time but my order would be dispatched early during this week....later the same day, I was messaged on facebook and was told it would be dispatched the next day...great, I thought. A few days passed....nothing....still order processing so I messaged on facebook again asking where it was. They replied that it hadn't arrived in the warehouse yet as was coming from another store (on Mars, possibly?) but it had been flagged up on his computer, it was 100% on it's way and he would keep me updated. Waited again...nothing...so messaged again (and completed another web enquiry form) on the 5th December. I got a reply this morning to tell me how sorry they are but the console is out of stock - they don't know how it happened and are taking it very seriously. Not serious enough to realise that this is a main Christmas present for a little girl who still believes in Santa. They offered an alternative product but Christmas is in 20 days and I frankly can't trust them. Please consider carefully before ordering from this charlatan company, particularly if you're bothered about getting it! And the 3-5 day delivery is a myth.
Won't buy from again online
Placed my order on the 25th of November and as of todays date the 4th of December my order status says "processing". Contacted them via email their response was "awaiting stock" even though when I brought the product it clearly stated "in stock". Don't promise on things you can't keep, if it's not in stock don't sell it!!!! #Shambles

Ordered online and after 8 days I've still not received the "Instock" game that was a gift for my son, customer services are non existent as nobody answers any calls regardless of the extension you choose!
I've never had an issue instore but I'd never use this company again.

Ordered an item over a week ago, still waiting when I was told on website 3-5 days delivery, coming up to Christmas this company cannot be trusted to get your items to you in the specific time period it states on their site.
Waiting for a month now
I'm form Germany and I pre-ordered the game "Dragonball Xenoverse 2 Collectors Edition" on 13th october.
It isn't here yet and I'm going to reverse the money now.
It's over a month after the release of the game, yeah I waited that long.
I read about the 28 working days for an order from EU but now it's enough.
I tried to contact the support of the website two days ago and I don't get an answer so far.
Everything I can say is I tried.
Not bad
I have bought from grainger games a few times and products have always arrived, but taken quite a while to get here. Prices are quite good, they give the option to buy preowned games which can save you a lot of money if you just want a working game but aren't bothered about condition of the box. I wouldn't go as far to rate it as a 'great' company, compared to its competitors, but I haven't had any issues other than delivery time and the website isn't easy to navigate on mobile devices.

I bought a game as a present and tried to return it because it was unwanted and refused refund, have contacted trading standards already as this is unacceptable after buying an item on saturday and trying to return it today (tuesday), they are happy to take my case, would recommend avoiding this company

I am aware this purchase wont come with the original Box but i was hoping you might inform me on whether or not it still comes in some form of packaging? CEX and Gamestop both provide a generic black Box which looks similar to the original outer box.
