Do not use under any circumstances

Ordered Raybans for my son in law Birthday three weeks ago . Took money and got order confirmation immediately. No sign of any glasses . Have tried webchat ( busy,try later !) no reply to emails , or Facebook messages . My husband is in Madrid in 2 weeks time and will be visiting their shop to get either goods or refund .
Do not use this site , so so many people not getting their goods , it is just plain theft !!

Horrified

SAME as everyone else, ordered 3 pairs of sunglasses over a month ago. No reply to emails on customer care. Requesting a refund and still no response.
My fiancé and I were planning to buy each other sunglasses to wear on our honeymoon as gifts to each other, thanks for the ruined experience.

I placed an order on the 15th July which was for a pair of raybans and it stated on the website 4-6 working days. I contacted them after a week and a half asking where my parcel was as I needed them for my holiday that was approaching. I received a VERY rude email saying I read it wrong it’s 14-16 working days (which it 100% didn’t say, otherwise I wouldn’t of ordered them as they wouldn’t be here for my holiday) They then said if I change the style/ colour it may speed up the process as the sunglasses I wanted weren’t in stock! Why sell glasses and take peoples money when they haven’t got them in stock! Baffled!
After numerous emails and live chats (they were “too busy” to answer) finally a lady replied agreeing to cancelling the order and processing a refund. That was on the 26th July and since then I’ve heard absolutely nothing! I got told that within a week it would be processed and I’ve still heard nothing. I’ve emailed so many times and even resulted to social media and still NOTHING!
I’ve seen some reviews that once you post on here they reply! So I’m hoping so...

NEVER USE GRANOPTIC!

Ignoring my emails and not getting a refund

Ordered at end of May, gave over a month for it to arrive as reviews did say it was slow to dispatch, emailed and didn't get a response, emailed again, got a reply that the frames I bought weren't in stock, I asked for a refund, they agreed and said it would be passed to their finance team, nothing. I chased twice but no response. Going to try to get my money back from card issuer, but who knows. From my experience I would say avoid at all costs

SCAM - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! SCAM!
This company is a scam. Take the money then cease all contact. No response via email, phone, Twitter, FB etc. I have asked for a refund and still no communication at all. I will try my bank today for a ‘charge back’ to see if I can get the money refunded that way.

I can only give you my experience...

I have shopped here twice from them and by the sounds of it... if you need your glasses within a week you need to make sure they are in stock before you purchase them. Next to the glasses it should say 24hr shipping if not they are not in stock.
I have purchased mine while it was in stock and it arrived within 2 days.
The very first pair I bought I had to wait about 4 weeks as it was not in stock.

They base in Madrid I think and is a legit company but poor customer service from what I have read. Hope this helps.

Bestilte et par Ray-Ban solbriller for 6 måneder siden og har intet modtaget og får ingen respons på mails.

DO NOT USE!!!

Don't even think about using this bunch of no good charlatans. I placed an order on July 7th 2018 for a pair of RayBan Chromance sunnies.. To date they have never arrived.. Written and tried to contact Gran Optic numerous times. Always too busy when you write or call and they have ever got back to me.. fortunately today my bank confirmed that they have recovered my money. So many crappy reviews on this site.. wish I'd read them before buying. If you want cheap top brand glasses go to Shade Station.. Brilliant order my Raybans yesterday morning and they actually arrived today.. same price as this lot.. but actually with the goods!

Ordered 4 weeks ago still no Sunglasses and no response from Granoptic!

09:42 - Ordered Sunglasses which were listed as in stock ( shipping-delivery period between 1 - 3 working days).
3 days later (after taking my money) the order status changed on their site to 'In process - With manufacturer' - that is now 4 weeks ago.
Made several attempts to contact Granoptic with no success.
Paid via Amazon pay so will also be in contact with them to see if anything can be done with regards a refund.

09:51 Update - I have now filed a claim with Amazon pay.....fingers crossed
12:48 Update - Granoptic have issued a full refund

i ordered glasses in june and still…

i ordered glasses in june and still have not got them, i have emailed and rang them and still no answer. Im so annoyed as i rarely would spend alot of money on sunglasses and the one time i do im not getting them. This company is a disgrace, i am looking into seeing if there is anything i can do through the european consumers rights board

Do not use this company

Same bad experience as everyone else. Bought a pair of sunglasses back in May, they took my money straight away, a month later the sunglasses haven’t been delivered yet, so I cancelled the order and I was told they would contact me to process the refund, which never happened. So I went to Madrid in July to their physical shop, and didn’t leave until the shop assistants there contacted the person who processes the refunds. His email is: “robertogonzalez granoptic.com” (there is an @ between the name and granoptic.com) Got my money back in 48 hours, hope it helps!

TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER RECEIVED PRODUCT

DO NOT USE! I ordered some RayBan glasses and paid upfront on my debit card and I got an initial email confirming the order and the money was debited immediately. That was the last time I've heard from Gran Optic - it's been two weeks of me emailing and I've had nothing back. I contacted my bank (HSBC) as I was worried I wouldn't get my money back and they've taken over the investigation, sent me my money back as a credit while they look into it and I'm just waiting to hear the resolution now. I wouldn't risk it ever again, should have checked the reviews. I've used Glasses Direct now for my order which is only £10 more and a legit company that came recommended.

Has anyone got there money back after…

Has anyone got there money back after cancelling an order?
What’s the best way to get a refund?
I did order a pair of Oakleys last year and they came in a 3 days but made an order 2 weeks ago for 2 pairs of sunglasses (web and Polaroid) which are stuck in “order with manufacturer” status. I have sent multiple emails asking for updates on delivery and got no reply so have since ordered the same sunglasses from edel optics, who delivered the next day from Germany..! 👍🏼
After looking at these reviews and seeing peoples distane with the service provided I intend to cancel the order with gran optic but if anyone has had any success with this and has any success stories of getting their money back it would be very helpful to me and no doubt to anyone/everyone else in the same position.
By all accounts it seems that gran optic are a p**s take company who probably have the best intentions backed up with horrific infrastructure paired with diabolical customer service..
Seem to be great if you want a pair of Oakleys’ but useless for anything else.
On a serious note it would be nice to hear from anyone with a success story re getting a refund and timescales involved.
Anyone reading this review please head peoples advice! If you want some eyewear within a reasonable timeframe please, please, please, look elsewhere!
