The tin of paint arrived very well packed .Well done ! Excellent ! At last I got round to the paint job in hand and was pleasantly surprised about how thickly the paint covered in the first coat . It won't need much on the second coat tomorrow . It dried very quickly and all brushes ,my hands and paint splattered shoes washed the paint off with warm water and wipes. No problem at all. This paint is perfect for a internal stone wall.

WARNING - I contact them directly to express a doubt on the Nevada product I purchased via their approved stocklist Avace. First day I called them I was told that they only offer 6 colors in this range and I said Avace offered more than just 6 colors. The lady told me the dealer should not do that. It has put a doubt in my mind. Second day, I called them to further request a quality check of Nevada paint from the dealer. I am very concerned about the made colour from the dealer and the pigment that added. I doubt whether the paint is still as 100% traceable VOC as it would be. Sally answered me and asked a few questions about how I ordered from Avace. After that she repeated what I told her and claimed that Avace ordered the machine and base paint from them so they can mix more colour. I have a conflict answer from Graphenstone which puts me on a further doubt to the company. I asked to speak to the quality and brand control manager to discuss my concern but Sally told me I will only get the same answers as she gave. Sally would like to think the problem is I am with Avace. The whole experience I had with Graphenstone itself and Avace has gave totally 0 confidence in their product. They are afraid of giving a straight YES answer when I asked for the material assessment of what exactly does the paint contains. So BE AWARE of this brand. It is not as reputable as you think.
This original post is for mcc.ie Graphenstone Paint Ireland (Pat Gately).of MCC McConnell's coatings, The enterprise Centre Ballycorus, Kilternan, Dublin 18.
I had the exact same experience as Mr. Simms on the UK post for this Paint. Paint stank . Painter had dreadful headache after painting with it. We both felt nauseous and it lasted until it was painted over with Dulux paint which I had to purchase and have it all redone after paying this company over €200. The wood paint was useless. I wiped it slightly with a damp cloth and only water the next day and it came off. It doesn't cover well either. I spent well over €200 on this paint only to have to buy a substitute. Given the problems with it the paint job took far longer than it should have done. My advice is not to purchase this paint or use this company at all given the response I got from Mr Pat Gatley. I emailed and phoned Pat about it only to be asked had I waited 30 days before wiping it!!? Also denial denial denial of ever having any complaints, and could he come out to take a look. (No complaints??? He should read more reviews). Of course he could have come out but when I contacted his company he'd gone on holiday so I contacted him when he was due back. He will not accept my complaints. Not professional at all.

Beautiful and imaginative - if I was in your line of business, I would have wished I could have come up with something so inspiring. However, I was disappointed to see a typo, with Dante Gabriel Rossetti's name given as 'Rosetti' in one place. I've worked as an editor, proofreader and editor for most of my career, and it jarred - someone ought to have noticed it before such a beautiful item went to press.

Very pleased with the Graphenstone experience. I was looking to renovate a bathroom - walls and units, using paint with the least environmental/health impacts. I sought advice from the helpful technical people at Graphenstone.
I removed and sanded the cabinets, used a couple of coats of four2four (bit smelly initially), followed by a couple coats of Grafclean eggshell. It took several days of drying between coats but the end results looked really great. I was impressed also with GraphClean Matt, used on the walls. Very pleased.

I used white and ebony graphenstone to paint over a brick wall repointed in lime. Customer service advised a stabilising coat of L42 primer first, and the process was easy. The paint goes on beautifully and is very opaque. The wall was patchy and I couldn't remove all the old paint without damaging the bricks, but you would never know, the finished result is smart and bright. I'd highly recommend graphenstone.

Really helpful customer service.great paint for our exterior lime render.

The paint really has no smell or heady fumes, so it’s great to use if paint makes you headachy, or if you have small children or pets. The coverage is fab, it really goes a long way, and the opacity is great, we added a little water as recommended and it was still nice thickness to work with. The colours have a great period appeal and there is just right amount of sheen on the paint for woodwork. The Matt for walls or anaglyta is flat mat. We have used it on two rooms now are are converted.
