Run away DONT TrUST

Run! DO NOT trust these guys with your money. I signed up with them and they did not fulfill. Not only that they had the audacity to try to charge my account again. Thank goodness I change my card number. I sat there for 2 weeks revision after revision and finally had told them they had 1 week left to get things done and they couldn’t fulfill on 8 projects literally. I filed a dispute after they would provide me a refund just a $200 credit off the next month. Low quality lack of service. Really disappointing.

Be careful of internal politics, speak up before it’s too late!

I worked at Graphics Zoo for almost 6 years. I’m thankful for the experience and the people I worked with, but I want to speak up about something that deeply affected my reputation.

During my time here, both the Operations Manager and Team Manager encouraged me to talk to some single female employees and even new applicants. They gave me ideas on what to say, and even sent me photos of certain employees, saying they thought we’d be a good match. At first, I didn’t want to chat with anyone because I didn’t want to disturb their work, and honestly, I didn’t know how to approach them either. But because of their constant encouragement, and sometimes mentioned they are not busy. I thought it was okay.

I have screenshots of these conversations, and even one video was sent to me, something I never asked for. That video was about an employee they thought would be a good match for me. I was also sent proof (their conversation) that she was single.

Yes, I chatted with a few employees, and I always made sure to talk to them respectfully. Some didn’t want to connect, and I respected that. Others agreed, and we exchanged friendly messages outside work.

Later on, I found out that some of these employees (not part of Graphics Zoo anymore) reported the chats to the same people who encouraged me to talk to them. Then the story changed, and rumors started that I flirted with everyone and made them uncomfortable. That really shocked me. I never forced anyone to reply esp working hours. Some even said they felt uncomfortable replying because I was in a higher role, something I was never aware of and would never take advantage of.

What’s also strange is that when I reached out to these same people for work-related matters or project updates, they would often ignore me or leave me on seen. They stopped being collaborative, even though they weren’t like that before. It felt like I was being isolated or set up to fail.

When I was let go, I didn’t take it personally. I accepted it and stayed thankful for the experience. But what’s hard to accept is how these rumors have damaged my name, especially when the full story was never told.

I’m sharing this not to cause any trouble, but to defend myself, esp since these rumors continued even after I was no longer part of the company. People deserve to hear the full story, and others should be careful of internal politics. Sometimes, the same people who push you into something are also the ones who twist the story later on.

I’m sure those involved already know who I am.

I hope this message reaches those who truly care about keeping the company values strong.

I have nothing but good things to say…

I have nothing but good things to say about Graphic Zoo. My project manager, Daniel, has been very helpful with generating ideas, since he is a designer himself. I do not think there has been a single time where I have reached out and have not gotten a response within 5 minutes. Graphic Zoo has given my team the production capacity required to handle our accounts without sacrificing quality. Would highly recommend to any agency owner.

All the good things

I can not say enough nice things about this company. They have smoothed out the graphic design issues we had working with another online company as well as hiring in-house and freelance graphic designers. I know they will be there when we need them. They understand deadlines and work to make sure they are met. Our representatives take time to have calls with us when we are struggling to communicate a project. Basically, they are the best graphic designer you may have ever hired but they don't take sick days (well they do but someone is there to cover for them) and make your work important to them.....not just a design to crank out and move on.

As a graphic designer

As a graphic designer, I sometimes experience an artist's block which can be very challenging when you are doing urgent projects. Thankfully, Graphics Zoo has an incredible support system with managers and fellow graphic designers that help you brainstorm and conceptualize. It is one of the things why I am still working in this graphic design company.

Another thing I truly appreciate is the fact that the filing of leaves can be as easy as 1-2-3 because they are aware that I have other important aspects in life.

Best Company to Work With!

Best Company to Work With!

I'm writing here as I want to share how was my awesome experience with Graphicszoo. I've been the customer support for more than a year and they provide the best learning environment for you.

As an artist myself, I see how serious they are with the design quality and making sure that customers are satisfied.

As an employee, I'm super lucky as they offer paid leaves, salary loans, and other benefits (like bonuses). It's like they're thinking what are the needs of their employees and what makes them happy.

I've been with different clients working at home, but this is the first time I got this type of benefit. Other work at home job is just paid per hour and that's it.

If you wish to work with Graphicszoo, you'll love it!

Graphicszoo is a sweatshop for graphic design

Graphicszoo is basically a sweatshop graphics service company. They exploit Filipino designers bone dry and once they speak up, they kick them out without hesitation. Work culture was extremely toxic, Account managers over promise to clients and put all the pressure to the designers without even considering their well being. To add more to it, overtimes are mostly 3-4 hours minimum, everyday, and sometimes 6 to 8 hours if the workload is particularly heavy. You're not allowed to go if you're not done, even if it means working from dawn to dusk. If you support POCs, do not support Graphicszoo.

You'll probably wonder why there are also an influx of positive reviews. Guess what? Those are probably sent by the higher ups for ground control because they fired tons of people a couple days ago for not agreeing to work night shift which they decided upon without consulting the designers affected and giving only a week's notice. And the benefits? The Operations manager sends everyone 150php (3$) for burger treats when people feel like resigning, without even actually giving proper solutions. That's it.

Those who say they love working here basically benefit from the oppression of their fellow employees. Beware.

A Perspective of the artist working…

A Perspective of the artist working from Graphics Zoo.
The reason why some of the designs are not good because of the workload that is handed out to every designer. They will give the artist 8-10 projects everyday. Imagine finishing a bunch of projects within a 9 hour work time (though really its not 9 hour because of the f****ing overtime without pay.) They will then rate our performance depending on the clients review while checking the quantity of how many projects we handled. And don't get me started on people who are speaking up. If any if the employees speak up they will fire them on the spot. Oh btw clients do you guys know that they don't provide adobe license for their employees. So your projects might not be using any legal tools. (I know because I never used my own adobe license here I used a pirated copy.) This company isn't worth investing your time and money.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

They don't understand how to run a design business.

They will not treat you like family

You will work overtime, without pay

They don’t care about their Filipino designers.

When you oppose the decisions of the Filipino Managers, you are fired. Even your concern is for the good of everyone.

You can’t voice out your suggestions, because if you do so, they will fire you asap

This team was amazing to work with

This team was amazing to work with, from the management all the way down to the designers! They took all of our design specs and put together the best designs we could ask for. There were even a few edits that we wanted to see in the process, and they accommodated very quickly. The team was super professional, easy to communicate with, positively receptive to feedback, and, most importantly, skillful in their execution.
