Texture and flavor is off. It’s not smooth like braunschweiger I’m used to. It’s grainy and flaky. Also had an odd fishy taste. Came frozen so not sure it would’ve spoiled in transit. Will not buy again. Might not even be able to finish the other 3 rolls in the freezer I purchased. Definitely disappointing.

The flavor is from the grass-fed and finished liver with the high omega 3s from the nutrient-rich grasses the cattle consume all day. Absolutely delicious! Having a German mother, I grew up eating Braunschweiger sandwiches. I have tried various brands over the years and nothing tastes the same. The first bite transported me back to childhood and my favorite sandwich. Even my husband, who is not a fan of liver, loves it! I immediately ordered three more tubes to keep in the freezer so we never run out. Furthermore, I had my mom try some and she was also blown away by the taste. She ordered some as well. Try it! You won't be sorry! It's not only delicious, but a fantastic way to get the nutrient dense offal in your body, if you're not a fan!
