Makes me feel good to know that the animal has been treated well throughout their life. I had never tried beef heart before, wasn't sure what to expect. Taste and texture is similar to beef. It is flavorful and tender.

It's unfortunate that I have to order beef heart online when I used to be able to buy it at my local supermarket, but I'm thrilled to be able to order from US Wellness Meats. My order was packed to ensure the meat stayed frozen and once it shipped it arrived quickly. The quality of the meat was excellent and I can't recommend US Wellness Meats enough. My only complaint is that you have to order a minimum amount to justify shipping, but everything I ordered was worth it.
