Tenderize Beef Kidney by soaking it in buttermilk or a mixture of lemon juice and water for several hours. Then cook with onions, garlic, bacon, or aromatic herbs such as thyme to offset the rich flavor.

First time buying and eating kidneys. NGL it tastes weird, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with US Wellness; it's just a foreign taste. But color, texture, density is all great. I'll buy again, for the sake of quality, recipe experimentation, and nutritional variation, but not for flavor...

The kidneys were new to me but my guest was very familiar with them and loved them. I used a french recipe which made them really delicious. The prep was tedious so they wont be on my regular shopping list. I will research more recipes!
