guy said he knew how to cut an…

guy said he knew how to cut an undercut, but he chopped away and hair got 4 inches shorter than a trim and it was 6 inches shorter all arround the middle so i have a round spot on head that is way shorter and frizzes in center of my head and the right side is shorter than the left and back is way longer. Worst hair cut of my life. It will take months for the short part to catch up to the longer length. I will have to go somewhere to get it even out so I don't look like my head is tilted to 1 side. Will never use great clips again....it's more like shi.....t clips.

I went to the Great Clips in Ellicott…

I went to the Great Clips in Ellicott City, MD with a coupon that I found on Facebook. When I walked in the door, I showed them the coupon and I asked them if I could use the coupon there. They said I could. When I checked out, the coupon did not work. The people on duty said they could not do anything about it and I had to pay full-price. I have not been back since. Their coupons are too confusing. It is not okay to tell a customer they can use a coupon and then refuse to honor it. I have decided to just go to the local beauty school. It is one low price and I do not have to worry about whether or not my coupon will be accepted.

Downloaded app and made appt

Downloaded app and made appt. Couldn't have been easier. Called bc surprised that I was next. Someone answered and said policy is to hold appt for one hour. Rushed to GC at Carborro NC plaza and they took me right away. They have a computer screen that confirms your appt and your waiting position.

The hair stylist was extremely pleasant and fun to converse with. Very nice experience. Prices are decent. 5 stars bc of the friendly woman that cut my hair.

Worst haircut ever!

I’ve been going to this great clips for years. I’ve noticed a lot of turnover over the years. I got the WORST haircut ever!!!
I had to go home and fix it myself! The girl who said she was the new manager was rude, and seemed to be in a hurry although there wasn’t anyone else in there! She didn’t ask any pertinent questions about what I wanted, and was offended when I told her it was uneven!! Will never go there again as long as she’s manager!!!

Shirin at #2714

Well, I must say that Shirin, the manager at GC #2714 in Walnut Grove, is not only a wonderful stylist, but a very good manager. Since Shirin has been in charge I have noticed how smoothly the operation runs, and the quality of the stylists that work there. I recently had my hair cut by Shirin, and she did a great job! Thank you Shirin!

I left Great Clips on 1227 Rockbridge…

I left Great Clips on 1227 Rockbridge RD SW Ste 404 in Stone Mountain, GA as happy as I can be. I went in for a trim, and Westley gave me just what I expected. I believe when great customer service is provided, we should let everyone know, this is the place to visit. Ask for Westly, he gives amazing haircuts.

Asked for a long shag hair cut

Asked for a long shag hair cut. Stylists said she knew how to cut that style. Ended up with one side of my hair 2 inches shorter than the other. She said she saw the problem and fixed it. I now look like a crazy person. Will never go to another great clips again. I could of cut my own hair better.

I had my first ever Great Clips haircut…

I had my first ever Great Clips haircut today, and I'm very seriously impressed. Over the last few months I left another stylist simply because their prices were way too high. Since I left this one, I tried three different places, and all three salons quite literally butchered my hair.

Today was a whole different story. My hair hasn't looked this good in years. It also felt better than ever. I will definitely be going back to this salon again.

This place is NOT honest

This place is NOT honest. We received a coupon from first-day-fresh-giveaway for a free haircut. The coupon expires on Aug 9, 2024. We went for a haircut on Jul 27th, 2024, and they did not honor the coupon.

Jenny - When she asked what I wanted from the haircut, I said it just needed to be shortened up all around. Then she asked about a specific length I wanted for my hair because her slip said I was a "4", and I couldn't give her a number in inches - who measures their hair? Then she asked if I liked Great clips, and she didn't like my reply that I don't, but that no regular barber shop is open on Saturdays. She quickly started spraying my hair with water, and seemed flustered and dropped a comb on the floor. I said slow down, it's saturday. She then told me that she got product in my hair when measuring four inches with her fingers, (huh??), and I asked her to please remove the product from my hair because I don't use products. She told me that she didn't feel comfortable, couldn't cut my hair, and I needed to sit in the waiting area, then went into a back room. After sitting in the waiting room for a little more than five minutes with wet, dripping hair, Emily called me back to cut my hair. She did a great job and apparently felt safe and comfortable enough that she didn't have to go hide and find a safe space. I'm giving a one-star rating because I can't give a zero.

Most compassionate, caring, gentle and well-trained team on the planet!

I began losing hair from chemo so I decided to go ahead and cut it all off. I had been to Great Clips before so we called them. 3 other family members cut went bald in support. Lisa, Shelbie, and Abigail all went WAY over and beyond anything we could have expected! They were SO kind and compassionate! They all wore mask and asked other patrons to wait in the car so we could have the time, which all did and the girls all told us they would be praying for us and "God's got this. My stylist, Shelbie, repeatedly gently grasp my shoulder in tenderness. They made a trying time so much easier and comforting. As we were leaving 1 couple waiting in their car blessed us in support. Thank You Entire team and patrons! You'll never know how much it touched and Blessed me!

The hair stylist totally didn't listen…

The hair stylist totally didn't listen to what I wanted. I pointed out after 3 snips she was cutting way too short. She TRIED to blend the very short hair into the rest of my head but totally missed on making it even with chunks of hair in the back super short, as if she forgot that she was supposed to be cutting it longer! She apologized but I still had to pay full price. I put a date in, but can't say for sure that is correct as I've been TRYING to work with the mess now for about two weeks. A loss cause until it grows.

Went in this Morning

Went in this Morning. Said Good Morning to staff as I entered as a response to theirs. A few minutes later, one red-headed lady came to register asked if people had check-in online. I stated i had. Lady 4 chairs over heard me and acknowledge. Hairdresser spoke to another person. I watched the list of people ahead of me go down. After other walk-ins were accepted, I spoke to the manager saying I was over-looked. I was completely over-looked and skipped.

Horrible customer service.

I am in shock

I am in shock. I asked for one thing (a bob with the bangs long...). I now have short bits that keep falling into my eyes. She "thinned" my hair without request, and I now have less than one tenth of what I arrived with in thickness. What is left seems to be from the top and the bottom (I can only imagine she completely cut out the middle). This hair cut is going to take me YEARS to grow out and what is left is an absolutely frizzy mess. Oh and she cut it dry. ABSOLUTE disaster!

Not recommend

The lady while giving me hair cut, cut on my ear while using scissors then she lied to me and said no, no, no there is no cut although I saw it was bleeding. I will never recommend this Great Clips on “Cross Country Plaza” on 3201 Macon Road, Columbus GA.
