We enjoyed our holiday, Kuekenof Gardens was amazing. Although we felt the tour guide could have been given more information, but he certainly proved himself by rearranging our train back to UK as the scheduled one was cancelled.
Lovely break. Well balanced between excursions and free time. Good guide, efficient and with sense of humour. Hotel could have had better size rooms better fitted.
Very enjoyable time in the Netherlands, just the right amount of organised activities and free time. Keukonhof did not disappoint, it was just lovely. Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Tour manager was very friendly and looked after us really well. Did not know of Utrecht before but an ideal base with canals, but not the overwhelming amount of people as in Amsterdam. Enjoyed a boat trip and had one of the best steaks ever at Gauchos by the canal. Overall a very enjoyable holiday.
An excellent trip from booking to finish. Keukenof gardens amazing. Excursions well planned also plenty of free time to explore on our own. Tour manager Graeme was excellent. Organised, amusing, read his group well.
Ease of booking. Professional , friendly fun tour manager.
A brilliant experience, wonderful weather all week (especially at Keukenhof), great travel on Eurostar & local trains & coaches, great hotel right in the centre of Utrecht & an excellent guide (Ivan) who went over & above to ensure we had a fabulous tour. Highly recommended all round!
We had a great time, the Kirkenoff Gardens were beautiful. We really enjoyed sightseeing in the cities of Delft , Utrecht and Amsterdam
Well organised with an excellent tour manager who helped to make it a great experience, also helped by the weather which was perfect.
Excellent holiday. The tour manager was brilliant. Journey was good on the euro star and local trains. The hotel was central, we were made very welcome. Food was tasty. The visit to Amsterdam was great, only problem was they did not divide the group up in their mobility, (I can walk for long distances, but only steady) so I found it difficult to keep up with my group. They walked very fast. Delft's visit to the ceramic factory/museum was only fair, as we went round in one group (37 people), so a lot of the information could not be heard and it was very rushed. Otherwise a really good holiday
We had a very enjoyable break as we benefited from sunny, generally warm weather. The visit to the Keukenhof gardens was the highlight of the tour and the day in Amsterdam was well organised and interesting. The modern hotel in Utrecht where we were based was clean with comfortable beds and good breakfast choices, although the two included evening buffet meals fell a little short. Our late return to the UK on Eurostar was slightly compromised by a 30 minute delay which resulted in missed connections in London for some of our group. Our tour guide was friendly and approachable and his local knowledge was extremely helpful.
Very well organised tour, great balance between organised tour and free time. We were lucky with the weather and the visit to Keukenhof was spectacular. Great tour manager, couldn't do enough for us
A verygood holiday
A brilliant holiday with lovely people and a great guide in Caz. Enjoyed every moment and organisation was fantastic. Everything ran like clockwork. Would go again.
Utrecht was the undoubted highlight of the tour, a perfect dutch city, small enough to walk around but packed with interest.
Overall it was a good trip, Utrecht was a very good base for the 4 nights, the hotel was good, staff were friendly and helpful and the 2 evening meals were excellent. The only downside was the first day, ridiculous star time which lead to an expensive overnight stay in London ( due to the London Marathon) this led to a very long day and a late check in at the hotel which left us rushing to get ready for our evening meal. The trips were very enjoyable but Amsterdam was a bit disappointing.
The holuday was a very enjoyable experience, with plenty if variety, a good hotel, central location and an exxellent tour guide in Lorraine, howecer the first day was too long, after a 5am start we would have preferred to go to our hotel after visiting the Delft factiry ratger than the extra 2 hours in Delft town, we were shattered! The train abd coach journeys were fine.
Fabulous trip, well organised and run perfectly by the lovely Lorraine.
Nice trip well organised
Days out were fun, the weather was perfect (though a bit hot) and our tour rep was one of the friendliest people you could meet
