Reputable, Knowleagble Company
Excellent company, professional and knowledgeable. We've been with GreenCentral for a while now and it's very handy having them come out every year to check our boiler. No need to contact them, they remember, they contact us and come and inspect it. If there are any issues to be solved, their engineer lets us know there and then and customer service take care of the rest of it. I'd definitely recommend GreenCentral for peace of mind, convenience and professionalism!

Our contract is with Home Emergency Assist (HEA) - I'm not sure where 'Boiler Central' fits into this ?
If the chap who came to service our boiler is Boiler Central - then Bravo. However, we have had our boiler service arranged by Home Emergency Assist last year, and again, beginning Oct 2024. In 2023, the chap who came to service the boiler didn't even know how to get the central heating to turn on . He had 'isolated' the system , turned up the valves on each radiator, and still couldn't understand why the rads weren't heating up. Our central heating / boiler was installed in 2021. In the end I said I would turn up the thermostat (nest) even tho he said it would make no difference. And yes, the rads were flaming hot when I turned the thermostat up. The following report was only completed in parts, I queried the 'not answered parts' with HEA and they said it would be completed in full. Absolutly nothing. Complete Silence. Dreadful service. We vowed never to use them again. Due to an error on our part, the insurance auto renewed. The chap who came a couple of day ago was late - no problem, we were notified of the delay. We had cleared the boiler room, turned the valves on each radiator up, and waited to be asked to turn the thermostat up - which we were. I asked for all of the Qs to actually be answered (the guy was independent - nothing to do with last years chap). He went through absolutly everything, every reading, what it should be, what ours actually is. Told us to put the print out info with our install paperwork to ensure guarantee is held good, also told us to make sure we find the right paperwork from last year. The 'report' was all completed with a couple of exceptions which are OK, N/As were actually marked N/A rather then left blank like last year (forgot, don't know, ???? ) So last year - 0/10, this year 9/10. Does it depend on the contractor who comes to complete the service - it would seem yes. My 4 rating is based on 2 years service. Based on the 2023 service - I would give 0/10
Really quick service
Really quick service, punctual and friendly engineer. We very much appreciated the punctuality as other providers seem to take a casual attitude to when they arrive, but we were informed in plenty of time by the engineer when he would arrive and how long he would be. Definitely recommend.
Easy process for boiler install
Whole process was easy and kept well informed of what was happening. Engineer was great and fitted new boiler with care and expertise. Would definitely recommend if wanting to finance a boiler monthly

A total scam
I was told I needed a new AAV as the one in my boiler was leaking and I was quoted £218.40 to supply and fit the valve.
I contacted a local gas safe engineer who looked at the AAV and said it wasn’t defective it was just operating as it should.
To keep my insurance valid I got him to replace the AAV and he charged £70.
To say I’m not pleased is an understatement.

I recently arranged to have my boiler serviced with Green Central, using the annual plan with them. It was a very simple process, despite having to go back and forth with my tenant and letting agent. No issues at all and I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and skills.
