They just can not get the orders right. I’m constantly on the phone to complain and they feed you with the same old lip service about how sorry they are, we wi speak to our teams.

NEC wedding show ‘free box’ scam stall
Went to the NEC wedding show and the girl on the green chef stand asked if we wanted a ‘free box’ from green chef.
Signed up she put in the codes for us to get a free box and said to choose want we wanted meal wise and what date to receive. Did this and the full box price was attempted to be taken out of my account yesterday, nothing free. Called up and they cancelled the order and payment, skipped all boxes for a month and have given me 30% off the next 8 boxes.
Soon as I was off the phone I fully cancelled online and removed all my details and closed the account.

Recipes are generally very good, but communication with the company when there’s an issue is very poor. Scammers
I saw an advert for a discounted start to their subscription, you have to join before you see their meals, so I did.
I changed my mind after seeing the meals, and canceled the subscription.
Since then they have made six attempts on my card, even after speaking to two people who told me ‘rest assured no further money will be attempted’ they still attempted.
Scam company, I have had to block my card and order a new one

Customer Service was handled badly
The food choices were good. Excellent instructions. Where they let themselves down is in customer service. I was notified by the courier that there was a problem in delivering my box and to contact Green Chef. So I phoned and spoke to a man and explained why I was phoning. He kept saying that the box would arrive by 9pm. I repeated several times that the courier told me to contact Green Chef and all he kept saying was I had to wait until 9pm but it would be delivered that day and then told me that he had nothing more to say and was ending the call. Needless to say, no box. The next day Green Chef emailed to say there were problems and I would not be getting that week’s box and a refund would be given. Not a great service and I cancelled all future box orders.

Recipes were delicious. Packaging was a bit annoying as the bottom of the box fell through on the floor along with the contents. But generally the food was really good with ample portions. My 19 year old is loving learning to cook with them.

The meals are really tasty and there's something for everyone. Easy to follow recipes and ready in a sensible time frame so I've enjoyed every one so far. Lots of different options so i haven't gotten bored with it and great to cook from fresh with no waste.

Offer an introductory marketing offer of free breakfast which i was unable to claim.
Meats are good quality generally but vegetable sizes are small overall portion sizes are small and cost is quite high.
Herbs tend to be dry over fresh.
Wasted lots of time every week calling for refunds due to issues

Convenient and tasty
Green Chef provides quick and easy tasty meals to your door. The service is good. It is run by the same company as Hello Fresh and after 3 years of using the. I find the Green Chef meals involve less sugary sauces and more protein which Iike. The only thing that I find really annoying is that they constantly push you to try to sign up your friends. You will receive emails thst sound exciting, free meal, but it is not for you it is for a friend. I did share with my friends when I started with Hello Fresh and my friends complained that it was difficult to cancel, so I have not done it since. No rewards for being a long term customer. But convenient and tasty.
