Great service from enquiry to quote to installation. All the staff who came were friendly and professional. Ryan was here the most, doing pipe work etc. He made a good neat job of it all and was professional, pleasant and polite, taking plenty of time to explain what he was doing and how I could access the filters etc. Very happy customer!

Called Greengen as a local supplier to me purely for some advice. I spoke to Neil and explained my situation; he was happy to spend the time with me to give me open and honest unbiased advice. He did not try to drive any sale and was very knowledgeable, he re-assured me and provided the answers and conclusions from a professional perspective in the first instance (unlike other local companies). Would certainly be a company I'd happily look to deal with should my situation change based on that one phone call.

Heat Pump and EV charger installed 4 weeks ago. Installation went smoothly, most of the work being done by Craig and Andrew. Had a problem a couple of days later (solder joint failed), but it was resolved within a couple of hours - excellent service on a Sunday morning. To be fair, the joint that failed was in a tricky position, and didn't leak for 2 days.
All working as expected now.

Could not have been better! John and James worked tirelessly throughout their time here. Answered all my questions and performed the nearest install. Brilliant.

We started our Journey with getting an ASHP and then Solar PV with battery. The staff were very helpful with numerous changes to the system to help us get the best system for us

Just had an air source heat pump fitted by GreenGen- we were very happy with their work and their attention to detail. Must particularly mention Craig who spent a week installing the system and went above and beyond in terms of making sure glitches were ironed out. He was also so friendly and respectful - can be hard having people working in your house but he was great - even indulged the 55 kg dog who wanted to be present at every stage of the installation

Competitive price, hassle free installation. Turned up as agreed. Morgan was quietly competent at laying out the many components and everything looks neat which was a, challenge in a confined space.

Really delighted with the service and PV installation provided by everyone at GreenGenUK from start to finish. There have been a number of people involved and each is worth a mention:-
1). Initially visited by Alan, the owner's father, who discussed the various options re panels and battery and based on the really helpful advice I decided to wait for the UK release of the Tesla Powerwall 3 this autumn.
2). Elizabeth and Cameron were my initial contacts who not only produced the design of my system but also checked its suitability with the roof designer of my new house. this really helped me to commit to the project.
3). Roof and panel installers Lewis and his partner Ruby couldn't have been more helpful during the roof work and they considered my concerns regarding the wind exposure and decided to increase the number of joist supports for the project.
4). Electrical and battery installers, Zakk and Dan, helpful and efficient pair of technicians whose only issue was having to check the Tesla hardware updates once the installation was completed well within the original timescale.
5). Thanks to Jack and his team for coordinating the whole project and reacting to adverse weather, timing and organising the scaffolders who were mindful of not damaging, plants, lawn and patio.
6). Finally the support of Neil Lawrence who has worked tirelessly to get our project through the National Grid minefield of approval of the installation and the issue of the Electricity export license was greatly appreciated. Really found his advice regarding the Tesla and new Electrical supplier, Octopus, apps to be invaluable.

Will certainty recommend GreenGenUK as a high class local PV and battery installer - thanks everyone.

Zack arrived on time and installed the battery without any issues until the commissioning. A few problems arose but Zack sorted them out and made sure our GivEnergy app was functioning. Workmanship was neat and tidy. Many thanks GreenGenUK.

We had a really good experience earlier in the year when GreenGen installed our solar panels and battery, and they returned in the autumn to install a Mitsubishi Ecodan Heat Pump. The company are very well organised and handled the Boiler Replacement Scheme grant funding on our behalf, and the process was smooth and efficient. All the staff we dealt with during surveys, quotations and installation were very helpful, and the plumbers and electricians were easy to have around the house. They introduced themselves on arrival and always kept us in the loop about the progress of the project, even staying late one evening to make sure that we had a supply of hot water over the weekend. The insulation team of Zack, Dan and Jack were very tidy in their work and cleared up at the end of every day. After the job was complete, we received all the relevant paperwork and documentation in good time. All together we had a very good experience from Greengen.

I ended up with Greengen after getting quotes from another company who, after asking a few times, I found would not take credit cards. Which is a no for me after needing that security once before and not having it.

Greengen were brilliant post install and during the install. They managed to fit a powerwall 3 and solar panels, about 2 weeks after I had contacted them when I decided I needed to switch installer (I had had a quote from them for this system 6 months before). During the two weeks I upgraded panels and then asked for more to be fitted, and had technical questions re a future car charger. All were dealt with quickly and at one point Rob the MD called me, to explain a technicality, for about 30 mins.

The install was great with some awkward routing due to me living in an old farmhouse with the powerwall about 40m from the consumer unit. Despite their being easier routes which would have been less tidy/aesthetically pleasing they spent a long while getting through the loft and also changed the position (at their suggestion) of the gateway to a cupboard upstairs when it would have been easier, but messier, to install it under the consumer unit.

A couple of things went wrong during the install and they were back to sort one of them on the next working day (after storm Bert when they would have been very busy). Theres another small issue to sort and they are coming Thursday to do this. So technical after care has been great (I don't expect everything to be seemless but the marque of a good company is how they sort out things that go wrong)

I'd particularly like to mention Cameron who made my partner feel very relaxed with him in the house (who started a bit perturbed as she was recovering from an operation the day before). He was also asking her if there was anything he could do for her :) But also Ben, Treeve, Jack and Simon were all lovely and the short guest appearances from Zack, Dan and Kieron who were great also, Big team and as far as I am aware all in house, not contractors, which is a credit to the company.

The only things that let them down were the scaffolders. One of whom had a real attitude when I asked him not to walk on a plastic roof. Also the extremely slow response from sales after the install, when I was asking for an additional battery. A quick acknowledgement email would have saved me chasing!

Although a much bigger company than my original choice (made because they were recommended) but a similar price. Given how awkward the routing was I am pleased I went for them as they are still local but had the manpower that was needed.

Throughout the whole process, from our initial enquiry to post installation support, Greengen staff have all been reliable, responsive, exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The planning and installation was very well managed and coordinated by Sean, and the team fitting the pump and radiators were very effectively led by George. All members of the installation team were hard working, efficient and communicated with us well. Our telephone queries were also responded to promptly and helpfully. We would not hesitate to recommend Greengen to anyone considering installing an air source heat pump.

Installation of batteries and car charger had a few hiccups but the engineer Jordan and his boss Andrew stayed the course to complete the job to our satisfaction. Jordan also helped us to get to grips with the software and app. Would recommend this company and looking to expand our setup of batteries. Thank you guys.

The installation teams, including Ben, Bailey, Cameron, and more, are friendly and professional. The process, from initial contact to completion, was straightforward without any hard sell. While the teams worked efficiently, there were minor delays due to equipment availability. Overall, a satisfactory experience with knowledgeable staff helping along the way.

Craig and Archie did a great job. Craig explained everything that he was doing.
