Only a tiny amount needed,always use the tiny scoop. I've tried multiple joint products, as one of my 4 has had cruciate surgery and arthritis, this is the only one that does what is stated. When you open the tub you can smell all of the natural herbs and ingredients. Amazing to have Basil happy on his walks,and not stiff and uncomfortable
