Couldn't fault it

Couldn't fault it. Tracking was added quickly and was delivered in 3 days, best price for tyres and fitting centre was easy to communicate with.

No we don't fit tyres for grip500

OK the tyres got delivered to selected garage. But when I phoned to arrange fitting. They told me they only fit tyres they sell. Not for grip500 tyre leader or any Internet company.

The Seller cannot be held responsible if the prices or times charged differ from the information indicated on the Site. Ordered a tyre on the 9th October still not received

Ordered a tyre on the 9th October, been told its been shipped, over a week ago. Sent 3 emails confirming my address to Grip 500, as the courier said the address had been scrubbed off and incomplete.

I have emailed Grip 500 twice asking for confirmation they have received my address details. I know from their thread that they have received these messages. No one has had the common sense or decency to email me. Therefore they have my payment and I have no tyre, very poor customer services I will be requesting a refund if the tyre isn't delivered by Friday. :(

The tires was sent out on 2 separate…

The tires was sent out on 2 separate days so I could not get them put on my van so I had 4 tires in my van which I live in for 3 days

Turned out OK

The price was very attractive. I bought a tyre from them for a classic bike in a size that's now difficult to find. First I emailed them to ask if they had it in stock (as I'd been let down by another company, before). They said they had 15 of those tyres, no less, in stock immediately. I made my order without hesitation. However, it took longer than expected to arrive. I did get the item in the end. I had contacted the company and asked them where the tyre was, and they said they'd contacted the courier and asked them to update their system with new tracking information. Whatever. In the end, I got my tyre and that's all that matters... kind of. The tracking system shows that my tyre was dispatched from Poland. I was surprised about that. The delay caused me to belatedly read through this company's terms and conditions, and I found them very, very unfavourable to the customer in the event that they don't deliver. In short, you have to wait 30 days before you can ask them to refund you, if you never get the tyre. Never mind your UK consumer rights legislation or contract law - it's worded very much in their favour. So, woe betide you if something goes wrong and you need to get your money back. Maybe they'd refund you eventually, but if they didn't, what would you do? In retrospect, I should have paid a few £££ more and gone for a UK company or with an Ebay seller (with Ebay, you get refunded automatically if the seller doesn't meet their delivery schedule commitment). I wouldn't want to end up in a consumer dispute with a foreign company. While it's my fault for not reading the T&Cs properly at the outset, I wouldn't go with this company again. I'm glad I did get my tyre because I'm not sure what RECOURSE I would have if I didn't.

Took too long to deliver

Took too long to deliver. I ordered it on Sunday... Got it a week Monday. Sorry... But if I knew that, I'd have paid the little extra and gone local.

This is from their website.. When will my tyres be delivered?
Your tyres will be delivered within 2-4 days depending on the following steps:

Once your order has been confirmed, you'll immediately receive an order confirmation by email.
We then check the payment.
Once the payment has been confirmed, we immediately start preparing your order in our warehouses.
A tracking number is then sent to you by email to allow you to track the progress of your order.
A carrier is already on the way to deliver them to your home or to another address of your choice.

My tyres were ordered on Sunday and delivered 8 days later.

fitted tyres

I purchased 4 new tyres from this company for my Toyota.
Had them delivered to one of there recommend garages for fitting
The garage damaged two tyres so had to put old tyre back on next day had mot test which failed on the old tyre AND ONE OF THE NEW TYRES that had just been fitted the day before so had two new tyres fitted at the mot station at a cost of £100+ also one of the newly tyres had something inside it which was the pressure sensor switch which had been damaged on tyre fitting at the FIRST fitting centre WHICH COST ME ANOTHER £45 PLUS FITTING .THE MOT STATION TOLD ME THE TYERS HAD BEEN FITTED BADLY AND DAMAGED i contacted GRIP500 and sent them photos of the damage THEY REPLIED THE FITTING OF THERE TYRES IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. They obviously do not vet the fitting centres they recommend.

I SHOULD NOT AND WILL NOT GO AND ARGUE WITH TYER FITTERS WHICH IS LISTED ON YOUR .WEB SITE.AS I SAID BEFORE YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THE TYER FITTERS ARE CAPABLE OF FITTING TYERS IN THE CORRECT SAFE WAY. I HAVE PURCHSED FOUR NEW TYERS ELSEWHERE NOW. AND PUT THIS DOWN TO ANOTHER ONE OF LIFES LETDOWNS OVER £280 POUNDS DOWN THE DRAIN THANKYOU GRIP 500

Awful customer service no way to contact them other than email

Awful customer service, rude emails refusing to accept responsibility for damage. There is no way to contact them by phone and there is no manager. I realise that most of the reviews submitted for the Sailun run flat tyres they are selling are fake. They are giving these tyres 5 stars in all the reviews. I was shocked when I realised how dangerous these tyres are when the car would hardly move up a hill when pulling into a main road from a side road. The website gives the option of using their fitting centre and having the tyres delivered there to be fitted. I selected The Tyre shop in 4 Fairways, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross EN8 0NJ. I was concerned by the gentlemans behaviour but he said he had been fitting tyres for 10 years. Now when he was in the shop he started to swear and he told me to get out because it was not safe for me. He became more aggressive saying he could not fit the Effing chinese tyres he continued to pull and tug with all his strength being a very skinny little man i felt he wasn't really strong enough to do this job. During this process he caused damage to the entire rim not on one wheel but on both wheels without even informing me . I told him these were newly refurbished wheels and he has damaged the whole edge of both rims,. He started swearing at me and abusing me personally and said it was my fault that I bought the rubbish chinese tyres. He admitted the damage but then his colleague said he would do a smart repair to the edge of the wheels. I felt it wasn't really possible with powder coated wheels and that they should have the whole wheel refurbished. He refused to do it and again became personal telling me to get out and F off from his shop. it has been the worst experience i have ever had in fitting tyres to my car avoid grip500 and their fitting cowboys.
