SHAM COMPANY - avoid!!!
SHAM COMPANY - AVOID!!! Used this shambolic company for an emergency call out. Was charged over £300 call out fee. The guy was here less than 5 minutes but said he had fixed the issue. The next morning the issue was still occurring so phoned him and the company, asking him to come back. We were ghosted by the electrician and the company would not help in any way or refund the money we paid.
Currently trying to go through the bank to get our money back. Avoid like the plague- this company and their staff are conmen.

Be warned
Be warned! We were charged £336 for a repair that repaired nothing. The electrician was present for about 5 minutes, 'diagnosed' the problem as a faulty breaker and simply switched it with a spare one on the consumer unit. I queried if that was definitely a full fix and he was adamant it was and that the issue would "definitely" not reoccur. Low and behold, a few hours later the circuit shorted again. We had to call out another electrician via another company who actually did a full investigation, identified that actual cause and conducted a proper repair. I have been trying to contact Grip Electric for weeks for a refund of the labour charge and they have completely ghosted me. Calls and messages completely ignored. It is disgraceful. Do not be lulled in by the cheap £30 callout charge. Look elsewhere.

Emergency call out!!! I had to wait 2 days for an appointment. Ayan was 7 hours late, my appointment was at 2pm at 1.45pm he called to say he had been held up and would be with my customersbetween 5pm-6pm. I hadn't heard anything by 5.30pm so called again for him to say he was still held up but would be with me today! Finally turned up at 8pm. As for his charges which he didn't discuss with me before proceeding with job were beyond belief.... he said it was fault finding.... I had told him where the problem was and what was wrong!!!! Not as advertised on their website or explained when you book....Ayan is a law unto his self!! I would not recommend.

Excessive Emercency rates.
I called this firm for an emergency, Ayan turned up 1hour later. He never solved the problem only bypassed the boiler with an extension lead. he was with us 2hrs 45mins and charged us £825.00 inc VAT. At no time did anyone mention the rates until they wanted payment. Their rates are at the bottom of the website which you have to scroll down alot. We think this rate is way above any average price. I'm feeling disgusted.
