Grisport UK Reviews 

After trying hiking shoes from several more well known brands and finding they are uncomfortable, cause blisters, trigger achilles pain etc I finally found Grisport. Being in my 50s with arthritic toes, a size 12, recurrent achilles issues and wanting that bit of luxury I am 110% happy with my recent purchase. Now to put them to the test in the Julian alps!

Bought a pair of Platform Safety boots. Thought I would try something different instead of the usual Cofra ones. Delivery was exceptionally good. Fitted perfectly from the start and have incredible grip are very light so overall very good boots. The issue came after wearing them for my usual 10 to 12 hr stint is that my feet became very tired. On closer inspection I found the insoles to be very thin and not supportive. This meant I had to swap them. Now much better. I have read another review of Grisport work boots with the same issue of just being too hard. Maybe for younger people it’s not a problem but when you’re in your sixties it can be.
My conclusion is hopefully from this review Grisport may take a look at there insoles and make some improvements such as softer over all and thicker with better arch support.( order number 340137 )

Very happy with these. Bought directly from Grisport. Was told 5 day delivery, got them in 2. Very comfortable from the outset, no breaking in needed. Done a couple of medium-long walks (16km+) so far and no issues. Size as expected.

Ordered a pair of Grisport Timber boots. The transaction was simple, although they were displaying an old price for the pair of boots I initially wanted. When I contacted them I was told the problem was because I had cached the site when the price was effective, but this was the first time I had visited the site after reading some good reviews.
Communication throughout was very good and quick delivery. They appear to make returns very easy, although I did not have to try the process.
The boots have so far been very comfortable but the longest walk has only been about 7 miles. It's been a dry summer so I have not got to try them in the wet.
I recommend giving them a try next time you're looking for a new pair of boots.

Merino wool socks. A bit concerned at first as they are one size 37 - 41 and I am size 41. However they are a lovely fit. Normally, I can't wear wool but these are so soft and comfortable that it is not an issue.

Second pair of walking shoes from Grisport.
First pair of 'Fuse' walking boots purchased 2 years, ago comfortable from the start, after many of miles of tough walking on Dartmoor and the South West coast paths they are worn but dry with more miles left in them.
Recent pair of 'Coniston' walking shoes, just a few miles covered but promising to be equally tough with a similar grippy Vibram sole.

I have purchased a pair of Quatro Brown Hiking Boot. This is my first pair of hiking boots that are over the ankle having previously purchased Grisport Dartmoor hiking boots. I was concerned the Quatros would be uncomfortable and rub on the ankle but not at all and they were comfortable from the first wear - Highly recommend.

Very swift service as always from Grisport - this was my 5th purchase of walking boots. Only four stars this time, though. Two reasons; 1) as I now realise, a size 39 in Lady Hurricane is not the same size as 39 in Lady Glide......l rang the company beforehand for advice on which size to purchase but in the event what l ordered were HUGE and had to be returned. 2) Buying direct from Grisport is not always the cheapest option. Free gifts are always nice, but for returning customers (how many socks/laces/boot bags does a girl need?!) perhaps the company could consider offering a choice of either gifts or a larger discount.

Purchased pair of Grisport Crazy Horse boots recently and used them last week in the Lake District; very comfortable and secure on various terrains and totally waterproof. Wish I’d found Grisport years ago! Great value and quality.

This is a first time I’ve used this company and walking boots make.
Ordering online was super easy. I’ve ordered two sizes as never had Grisport boots before. Returns and refunds were accepted , so why not?!
Unfortunately the size that fitted was faulty ( couldn’t tie the laces as one snap just snapped ) so I had to return both pairs. One for exchange and for refund ( was too big).
Today I’ve received my new pair of boots and tied them with no issues! ( let’s hope it continues). My order came with some freebies ( socks, wellington bag and laces ).
I wore the boots on the dog walk this morning and found them quite comfortable, however I was thinking that I might add an insole to support foot arch as the boots felt quite flat compared to my Merrell hiking boots.
Only a good hike will tell how the boots will perform in bogs and on rocks.

Very impressed by the quality of the Peaklander hiking boots, still early days but look good. Delivery very quick via DPD, so no complainbts as yet.

Of all the online shopping experiences I have had, Grisport UK was the best ever! I did my research and decided on a pair of Grisport Lady Tempest boots. Grisport were well-stocked in all sizes. Not only were the boots a great price compared to high street stores, ( I saved at least £45) , they also had an amazing deal. I received a boot bag, spare laces and a pair of merino wool socks to boot! The parcel was delivered so fast. Inside the well packed original box, there was a Royal Post return slip already printed. So if I wanted for any reason to return the purchase for another size or a refund, Grisport made it easy. However the Lady Tempest boots are a perfect fit, super comfortable and the most gorgeous colour. Beautifully made. Highly recommend.

Quick delivery, really like the style. Tested these over 3 days hiking/wild camping in Wales carrying packs all day and I could not be happier. Relatively lightweight, good support, extra grippy Vibram sole, waterproof, comfy. Only quite minor hotspots after 3 days in pretty rough terrain. The only minor negative I can think of is that the stock laces seem very thin, but I was also sent a thicker spare pair in the bonus accessories pack so even that is taken care of. I only have this one pair so far, but I think the quality-to-price ratio for Grisport is very hard to beat and have recommended to all my hillwalking buddies. 5/5.

Ordered after reading great reviews / waterproof boots. Sick and tired of another brand, rhymes with Beryl, very comfortable but always leak even if shortish wet grass on dog walk. The boots arrived next day, seem very well made, and are very comfortable straight out the box. Time will tell tell how waterproof they are, but a trip to Scotland next week should tell!
Also very pleased how easy they are to take on and off without at struggle
But I have high hopes 🤞

Ordered a pair of Lady Excalibur boots. Was told they would arrive on 30 July. They did. Was told they would feel great straight out of the box. They do. Went for a good walk in them yesterday. Wore them for many hours today. So comfortable. Absolutely delighted with my purchase. I do have some issues with my feet and usually I need to remove my footwear after a few hours but not with these. Amazing.

The Grisport website is easy to navigate and there is a great choice of products.
The order process was really straight forward (including a discount being a new customer), then delivery of the products was really quick.
Since there is a free return option for UK based customers, I did not have any issues in buying online. Since I have very wide feet and an issues with a toe on my left foot, I am always very wary as to whether the sizes are right. However, the shoes (Constance Nubuck Leather Women's Walking Shoes) fit perfectly. Thanks!

Quick and easy purchase of men's walking boots

Had to order an additional pair of boots as we are getting ready for the West Highland Way in September. I thought I would get them early to break them in but no need. Really comfortable straight out of the box.
