From the moment you walk in you are at ease! No nerves or second guesses, this is due to the smiling faces behind the counter and the facilities being so clean!

Tim was my consultant and he has made me feel that this journey is not alone, constant support and he genuinely cares about his work and how it improves others lives!

All nurses are very caring and do everything to make the experience comfortable and relaxing.

I have just had my Gro hair transplant this week and could not be happier with how it all went.
I was fortunate enough to have my initial consultation with Marc on the Gold Coast. He was extremely friendly, welcoming and was very understanding of my situation. Marc went above and beyond throughout the entire process and was always available to answer any questions or simply just check in to see how I was going. Marc is a huge asset to the Gro team.
My surgery went over 2 days with Dr Ruk and the team in Brisbane. Again, I felt very welcomed and supported during my time at the clinic. Dr Ruk lived up to his reputation as the master of hair transplants! He is extremely passionate and genuinely wants the best results for his patients. The effort over 2 days from him and his team of nurses was amazing! Thank you everyone :)
I simply cannot fault my experience with Gro Hair and I urge anyone who is thinking about a transplant to choose Gro for their journey.

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve had my final procedure with Gro in Melbourne. I don’t feel like a new person, I simply feel like me, and that’s the first time in nearly 15 years I’ve done so.

I think it’s great that guys can go bald and it doesn’t worry them, but for me, I loved having hair and when I started losing it I started losing my confidence along with it.

The seemingly endless daily comments and jokes about losing my hair and being bald started in my late teens.
I tried growing it, shaving it, covering it and hiding it but nothing ever totally made me at peace with it or stopped the comments flowing. I tried just about every treatment under the sun to try and slow it down, halt it or even reverse it but nothing made any difference despite the thousands of dollars and years of consistency in a battle I knew I was always losing despite my best efforts.

Finally I was left completely bald and I started researching hair transplants before settling on FUE as the procedure I wanted. I then researching clinics and set up a consultation with GRO. I basically thought it’s either a new car or new hair?! Well I know which one has changed my life!

As I write this review my hair is still short but the amount of people who have been commenting on how good I look with a shaved (not one person has said bald) head is incredible! After more than a decade of wearing a hat or beanie to limit the comments I now feel comfortable going out! My confidence is back and I can look at myself in the mirror and feel like myself again. I’ve even had friends stop in their tracks when they’ve seen me saying I looked different (in a good way) but not knowing why. If this isn’t a testament to the results and natural look achieved then I don’t know what is!

All up my journey with GRO has been just over a year, and I’ve gone from being completely bald to now having a great hairline and head of hair! Now, is my hair as thick as it was when I was 18? No, it’s not. Does that matter? No. Do I have enough hair that no one mentions hair loss or going bald and instead gives me compliments on how good and full my hair looks? Yes.
Every time I look in the mirror am I now happy with my reflection? Yes!

From my first contact with the clinic and consultation with Tim I never felt any judgement or stigma associated with my hair loss which I’d become use to from my day to day life. Instead I felt welcomed and supported in my choice to do something about my hair and that feeling continued right through till the end!

Between both procedures - the first for my hairline and second for my crown a year apart - I had several PRP treatments to help prepare my skin and also boost the already transplanted hair. I know there’s mixed reviews over the effectiveness of PRP, but I have awesome results so even if it only helped a few percent to me that’s worth it.

Everyone at GRO was amazing and friendly and I would like to extend my warmest thanks and appreciation to them all! There’s also a few people I want to thank personally, the first and foremost being Dr. TJ for his incredible work giving me a full head of hair again!

I had my initial assessment with Marc on the Gold Coast; Blown away by the attention to detail and care! Marc is THE MAN! If you can speak to him, do it.
He booked me in for my procedure the following week in Melbourne, as there had been a cancellation that needed filling. (coincidentally, I was going to Melbourne anyway)
Straight away I had excellent communication and great instructions from the Nursing team.
On arrival at the clinic I felt my anxiety ease. The team in the Melbourne clinic made me feel “spoilt” and top priority.
My team Dr Shalina, Dorothy and Emma were so amazing! I just felt so comfortable in every way.
It’s only been 7 days since my procedure, but I’m so happy! I’ve had non-stop communications to make sure everything is ok.
I’ve had minimal pain/discomfort.And healing very well. Honestly, the most painful part about this procedure is the anaesthetic needles!! 😂
The entire team at Gro are phenomenal.

The consult with Marc was very informative, he was able to show me expectations based on my conditions. From my First Consultation with Marc to the actual day of surgery with the wonderful Doctor Josh Wee and Nurses Teresa and Jasmine everything was seamless and dare I say really fun. Marc was attentive, supportive and was really the one who sold me on GRO to begin with. Doctor Josh is an artist who clearly takes sooo much pride in his work and anyone would be lucky to have him perform a transplant for them. Both Teresa and Jasmine helped ease the nerves on the day, were also just wonderful people who are passionate about what they do. These four really make GRO stand beyond other companies for me and I couldn’t recommend them enough to those considering the procedure. Now it’s just time to wait for the results!

I was initially concerned about my procedure as coming to Gro almost completely bald, I needed the full implantation procedure that Gro could off, being 2 days of surgery and quite an expensive cost to boot.

But since day 1, everyone I've met and been in contact with at Gro has treated ordinary me like a VIP and gone out of their way to ensure I had a great experience.
Surgical team was friendly, professional and caring making the 2 days of implantation a good experience. I left there with a full information kit from the nurses on post-treatment and contact numbers that I could call if I had any other issues.
The Gro team have regularly checked on me and my progress as they promised, and at almost 6 months after the procedure the results are really starting to kick in and being visibly noticed by those around me.
I have already recommended Gro to some of my balding friends and highly recommend to anyone else with thinning hair.
I should have most of the final growth after 12months and I'm excited for it.

I had a hair transplant last year. In may2021 . If you are considering this procedure, do not hesitate. I am not a keyboard warrior. I don’t leave reviews.
I had a problem with thinning hair for years. It is so depressing. Hair loss is a choice.
My hair is thick and amazing. It works. The hardest part is the 6-9 weeks after the operation.
It does look notable thinner, at that time time frame. Then bang it’s better than you could imagine.
It works.
Science is amazing.

Gro have been incredible throughout my journey with them. I didn’t realise just how straight forward the process was from start to finish. I attended an initial consult with Tim, who was incredibly knowledgeable on the topic of androgenic male alopecia. We discussed my treatment options. It didn’t feel like a pushy sales consult whatsoever. The procedure was painless and you’re extremely well catered for. It’s been 2 weeks, so the results will take time but I have absolute trust in the surgeons and nurses who performed the procedure; that I’ll get the results as promised.

The FUE procedure I had with GroClinics has been a positively life changing experience. I now have the hairline I always wanted. The team at Gro are professional and had my best interest at heart. My hair growth post procedure has been right on target as advised by the team.
