Our Labrador has been itching for days now but we were away on holiday so didn’t have a brush or mitt to help her. We went into a pet shop and the Groomi deshedder was recommended. Now we have never used a comb etc on her - only ever a hand mitt which she never really liked but this deshedder she absolutely loves!! Just stands there and lets me comb her and the amount of dead fur that I have managed to take off is phenomenal. I really can’t express how good this is. Well worth the money and made in the UK too!!

Such a great product for my elderly dog who HATES being brushed/combed. The product is well made and does the job amazingly!

I really hate businesses that add shipping protection with your order as an option you need to untick. I accidentally forgot to untick the shipping protection box and consequently have paid more for my order. This is a sneaky additional cost as Australia Post offers free shipping protection for orders under $100. I won't be ordering from this company again.

Bought this on the basis of what seemed like good reviews only to find it is hopeless at deshedding my black labrador's coat. Gone back to the deshedding comb I bought off eBay for half the price of the Groomi. Would return it but the company put on so many conditions it will cost more to send back!

Ive had a groomi for a few years now & just purchased another ! We have 2 bengals and this takes all the loose fur straight from them ! Best brush ive ever had!

So much better than a brush!! I have a yellow lab and I didn’t realise how much they moult as much as they do. My furniture, carpets, even tiled floors are covered in a layer of fur. Having visitors was embarrassing when I saw their clothes when they left.
You will never remove all the fur but there has been a big noticeable difference since using the groomi. Even my dog now likes to be groomed and the amount of fur that comes out is unbelievable. Highly recommend.

I purchased the Groomi Kit and the Dog Wash Hydro-Hound and I really regret wasting my money.
These products are cheaply made and not worth the price tag.
I attempted to wash my dog with the Hydro-Hound today and the item itself is cheap plastic that would shatter if you dropped it on the ground. The use of the shampoo was ineffective as the water flow managed to empty the soap bottle completely after a few seconds when I changed the setting to ‘soap’.
The different ‘flow’ options were pointless and the only one that was effective was the ‘shower’. All other options were useless. Don’t bother.

Doesn’t work at all. Hair flies everywhere so it’s just a furminator that spooks the dog. This was the case for both our (different haired) dogs. Don’t waste your money.

Disappointed with service. Hose didn’t fit Groomi brush. Company took nearly a month to send new one. Product is excellent but sad communication and care is so poor.

This is the second Groomi I have bought as I was so impressed with it....this one is a Christmas present for a friend. It arrived really quickly and correspondence was great. Please support this small business as they have designed a great product in the Groomi......my dog absolutely loves being brushed now.

Didn’t expect to get so much fur off my black, short haired cat. It was almost unbelievable but I got a ball of fur bigger than a tennis ball ! He seemed to enjoy the combing but my long haired cat was not so impressed. Her fur is so much finer I don’t think she has such a dense undercoat as he did. They are house cats so not worried about them feeling the cold.

Over-rated. Plastic is cheap. The brush head (holder) whistles as the piping is smaller than the diameter of a common vacuum pipe. The dog hates the sound.

It was better just to use it as a normal brush that you can dislodge the hair from easily.

Not enough 'comb' to the head. Means that more brushing is required.

Terrible product and they refuse to refund me after I received a faulty broken product - no phone number to call just a long list of excuses. I’ll be contacting consumer affairs then my bank for a refund - beware

Brought the groomi for my two German shepherds. Attached it to my Dyson pet vac. I feel the fittings are a bit cumbersome as they come off easily. It doesn’t have any click in attachments. The mouth of the brush doesn’t seem big enough to gulp down the hair. I spent more time trying to dislodge it myself. The Dyson is powerful but I still think it struggled with the hair. In the end I disconnected the vac and just used the brush and pulled the hair out manually which kinda defeats the purpose. Maybe might work for short haired dogs better. But I won’t be using this. May as well go back to the normal brush technique. I didn’t bother to contact groomi after reading so many comments that they don’t reply or refund. So figured no point and to chalk it down to experience. If anyone wants it second hand it’s yours.

I was excited to order mine given i have German Shepherd that moults, but it came broken the main attachement doesnt stay connected and there is no phone number to call and no one responds to email. Very dissapointed and I want my money back.

Package arrived on time, well packaged and item looked attractive. However it really isn't suitable for my 2 short haired but always moulting cats. It is far too harsh for their delicate skin, so is a waste of my money. I did read the blurb properly and it was advertised as suitable for cats.
