I had a teeth whitening service performed yesterday which I would like to complain about and get a refund.

This teeth whitening service was sold as a professional service but it was far from professional.

This is for two reasons

Number one it was dangerous and not safe,
This is because a mouthguard was shoved into my mouth and gel was applied to my teeth without having any kind of teeth guards to hold the gel in place and so throughout the service the bleach slit down my throat which is ingesting dangerous chemicals.

Secondly the strength of the peroxide used was 12% carbonyl peroxide, this is an incredibly weak peroxide, available for people to use at home themselves, in fact 18% carbide peroxide is permitable to be used safely at home.

At home is not where I was I was expecting a professional service with professional strength bleach.

Consequently the service did absolutely nothing for my teeth and did not change the color or whiten them in anyway.

I'm seeking a refund because of the lack of professionalism the danger are I was put in with chemicals slipping down my throat and the fact that the service didn't actually work.

Groupon's response... We don't give refunds after a voucher is used.

No care for the health and safety concerns or consumer law.

Purchase Microsoft software from Groupon and the merchant sent a dodgy link and refused to provide a valid product key - beware RANSOMWARE and MALWARE when purchasing software from Groupon.

I have been trying to contact a member of groupon for days now. I keep getting sent in an endless loop of pages, NOT A SINGLE ONE has a simple straightforward email or phone number that I can call to raise a complaint of a clear and obvious scam on their website that they are openly promoting.

I purchased a microsoft product from their website, product key has been shared with multiple people now mine does not work and i cannot access any of my files for work or studying. Groupon have ZERO contingencies in place to facilitate me raising this concern and are happy to take people's money despite them promoting an active scam. Disgusting and they should be utterly shamed of themselves.

The process was easy to follow and end product was very good value

Although I don’t see any improvement in my situation regarding RF treatment the service was always friendly and informative

Great customer service .

This is a scam.
Codes don't work and they just keep giving you a different code which continues not to work.
Groupon are just as bad now. Try to get in contact with them and it's nearly impossible to get a response.

Good price and easy to use it

Good deal as advertised.
Mainly a chartered bus ride to visit the sites as stated, not much of a full tour guide experience though. The driver picks you up and drops you off at the sites, but doesn’t follow you around and leaves you alone at the site until the time you’re supposed to the bus.

I recently got my car serviced through a voucher I bought at groupon. It was a seamless process and I was able to to secure a slot in a few days. The staff were friendly and upfront on what repairs needed to me made. All in all it was a great value for what I paid.

I purchased the Windows 11 Pro + Microsoft Office 2021 Pro Plus Bundle – Lifetime License from Desol via Groupon, and it was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Where do I start? The product promised delivery of a unique key within four hours. That never happened. I sent multiple emails to Desol, all of which were ignored. I escalated the issue to Groupon, whose response times weren’t much better. After nearly two weeks, I finally received a canned response from Desol with the key and some sloppy instructions—no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay.

I followed the instructions, and surprise: the key didn’t work.

I sent dozens of emails to Desol—again, no response. Groupon also tried reaching out to them, but even their emails went unanswered. Despite explaining repeatedly that the vendor was unresponsive, Groupon kept pushing me to resolve the issue directly with Desol. How can I resolve anything with a vendor that won’t even acknowledge my emails?

Eventually, after a month of back-and-forth and canned responses, Groupon issued me credits—but by that point, I wanted nothing to do with either Desol or Groupon. Their communication was painfully slow, sometimes taking a week to respond.

This was a nightmare. Everyone I’ve shared this story with had nothing positive to say about Groupon, and frankly, I’m amazed they’re still in business. It’s a shame they partner with vendors like Desol, who clearly reflect the same low standards.

Avoid this bundle. Avoid this vendor. And think twice before trusting Groupon with your money.
